Skylar gets the chance of a lifetime to upgrade her education and life by transferring to the elite Dunam Prep Academy in the middle of her senior year. But all that glitters isn't gold when Skylar finds herself sharing a school with her three muses: Parker, Max, and Devin.
Dating the three most eligible bachelors in your new school seems like every girl's dream, but is it really? Keeping a romantic poly affair under wraps in a school full of Gossip Girl wanna-be's and infatuated old flings proves... challenging. Can Parker keep his two passions, football and Skylar? Can Devon prove that he is more than a card-carrying Casanova with a first class pass to each make-out spot in the school? Can Skylar succeed in keeping balance with the guys while Max battles his family and pushes the bounds of their relationship? Suddenly, it's "mo' money mo' problems" for Skylar. After all, what does a poly's prom photo even look like?
Sadly This book disappointed me. I was looking for a reverse harem book but this is not the one for me. So many things I just didn’t understand in the book!! Why are they still living in the trailer after winning the lottery? I thought it was so ridiculous that she’d just trust Tiffanie right off the bat and show her where she lived and became her bestie. The fighting as jealousy between the boys was stupid and childish. And the fact that the series is apparently still going frustrates me. I thought it was just 2 books but I guess that’s not true. I guess I’ll never find out what happens!!

WHY? That is the question that I kept asking myself throughout the story. The characters are all decently developed, but the plot left me feeling like I was definitely missing something.
Why would her mother pay tuition for a private school, but not a car to get there and back? As an older sister, my parents couldn't wait for me to get my license so I could take over duties of running errands for them. Practical purchase for practical use. Much more useful than tuition to a private school. Plus, the car would definitely not be anything top of the line which would be yet another thing to set her apart from her classmates.
There are many others I could ask, but I am sure you get the idea. You know I hate giving out spoilers, so this is the easiest example to demonstrate.
Skylar and her boys manage to stay together despite the pressures of teachers, parents and fellow students. The development of their relationship and the pressures inherent in today’s society are well written and kept me turning the pages. Skylar’s blend of innocence, openness and inner strength are admirable, while the boys manage to find balance in their relationship with her. It’s emotional at times but I loved it even more than the first book.
I enjoyed reading about Sky as she enters a different world than she is used to and how her and her guys handle it. It was a good read and look forward to reading the next book in series.

In the second part of the Dunham Prep Boys series, Skylar changes schools and now attends Dunham Prep School with Max, Parker and Devin. Now Skylar and her boyfriend have to navigate the school, the parents and the shark tank of their classmates. The story is entertaining, but could use a little more tempo on the stuff the four are going through. The development of the relationship is also missing.
