Keziah and Quail are doing everything they can to keep the underground fighting ring on lock. With Quail working overtime to make sure he’s never broke again and Keziah knocking out anyone willing to get in the ring with him, the two are making more money than they know what to do with.
But, mo money means mo problems and when another team of fighters find their way trying to slide in on the action, things quickly take a turn for the worse.
Nalani and Dillan are just trying to figure things out. Dillan is in law school but in a dead end relationship with a fellow student who plays more games than a few and while her bestfriend Quail is always telling her that she deserves better she’s not sure she’ll ever find it... or if she’s found it already.
Nalani is just sort of wandering through life looking for a purpose. After the death of her parents and sister she turned to drugs, alcohol and sex to make her feel just about anything, dressed it up as liberation and never looked back. But, when a chance encounter with Keziah makes her feel more in one night than she’s felt in the past several years, she’s forced out of her comfort zone and in to all sorts of drama. Thankfully, Nalani isn’t one to fold and she’s soon taking on everything that comes with being down to ride for a Louisiana menace.
Wow my babies came out on top. I hate one of my guys turned good had to die by his brother hands by some snake shit. But I’m glad the master mind got his karma at the end. I love reading ur books and can’t wait to read more of them. Im sitting around waiting to read some more of ur books. I found some new babies to add to my collection.
I loved Keziah and Lani relationship. They fell hard for each other. Lani played no games. Quail was about his money and family. Dillian was dealt a bad hand until her and Quail finally admitted their true feelings for each other. Good read
His was a good read they had a lot of snakes around them .But all and all I was gals she started driving again getting over her fear I was a little upset when he call he brother smh 🤦♀️
This story was just okay. I was expecting more drama than this. I needed some excitement and action but this seemed bland to me. There were some errors but not enough to be annoying. I've read other book by this author and this one isn't one of the best.
