I enjoy reading this series though I’m getting to be concerned about the details being overlooked because of the amount of time and amount of content between releases. In this teaser [spoiler] Emil acts surprised that Adie can’t enter Dreamland when he learned about it back in book 10, the Breach [end spoiler]. It’s not just that, the $1.00 a month adds up. It wouldn’t bother me so much if there was more substance than the very few pages that feels like pulling teeth or pushing a bolder up a hill only to have it roll back down before reaching the top.
I understand writing isn’t easy but this is beginning to feel almost like a scam.

Cornered by L.L. Frost picks up where the last serial left off. Adie is dealing with a lot of problems and finding “He Who Devours” is one of them. The last thing that she expects is to run into Domnall again. But it turns out that her guys and her cousin have been keeping quite a few secrets from her.
Cornered is another gripping addition to the Succubus Hunted arc. Adie finds herself cornered in more ways than one in this book. Secrets are coming to light and a couple things Adie has to come to terms with. She’s has to get stronger if she’s going to make it, but as usual, she’s going to need quite a bit of help from those around her.
This story is fun, engaging, and informative character-wise. This story is pretty straight forward with no steamy situations. I appreciate how we get some more background concerning the characters as well.
That being said I am rating this serial 5 out of 5 stars. This short is entertaining and leaves the reader on a cliffhanger. I’m excited about the next installment.

Incomplete series, I prefer the compiled books to the serial version. Super funny and definitely worth the read.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

At the end of the last serial Domnall had been waiting for Adie when she came out of the bakery. All of her fears are realized when he confronts her again. And this time he's not alone. But is everything as it seems? Is he the bigger danger or are the Hunters?
I know I sound like a broken record but Adie's story just keeps getting better. There's only a glimpse of her adorable imps in this one and sexy time takes a back seat to the action but the action is significant and her destruction demons show more affection towards her. I'm finally beginning to see the proof I need that they truly care. Domnall is awful, Adie's relatives are still questionable, and Tac continues to amuse me. This episode ends in deadly chaos. I eagerly look forward to more of this little succubus next month!

Very enlightening installment
Well at least we know Julian is okay...but still as sneaky and secretive as always. And Domnal turned out to be quite the surprise. But aaarg, all the secrets!! Poor Adie just has to be perpetually exasperated with all the men in her life!
So now she’s bait. You just know something bad has to happen...poor Philip! And where are her guys?!?! Another month of waiting...

I love this serial!
Yes it’s short and yes there’s a cliffhanger every time but 4 weeks goes pretty quickly and the next novella in the series is there waiting for me to devour. I enjoy the sarcasm, the adventures and relationship dynamic of each and every character.

Surprises at every turn
While I'm not always a fan of serials, I love these books. The surprises are always, well... surprising. Domnall is back and he's got an unexpected connection to Adie's cousin. The hunters are also back but dealing with them won't be as easy as expected...
