Upbeat Aging: a comical look at growing old

Rate this book
Is getting older getting you down? Want to go from wrinkles to twinkles? This collection of quirky, clever, wry and punchy verse is a comical antidote to aging. From an encounter at the Genius Bar, a search for a Lexus in a sprawling Texas parking lot and an ode to elastic for expanding waistlines, the author has been there, done that. Readers will chuckle, giggle and even guffaw at these poems that capture the familiar trials of growing older.

Beth’s book

Silly fun poems mocking the foibles of life in our seventh decades and more. Good for a chuckle or three.

Laughter is good

The aches and pains are easier when you can laugh. This litte book will help. After all, as some once said, there is only one remedy for old age.
