It was the mysterious disappearance of her archeologist brother Robert that brought lovely young Sarah Chamliss to the little Austrian town of Feldkirch, where he had come to examine the tomb of a long-dead princess. Menaced by bandits and met with stony silence from the villagers in the course of her search for Robert, Sarah turned for help to Eric Mann, the handsome, enigmatic master of Steinbock Castle.
As Eric's guest, hower, she discovered that the castle held many secrets, chief among which was the subterranean chamber known as the Ice Castle whose blood-stained walls had witnessed terrifying acts of violence. Sarah soon had reason to fear for her own life as well as her brother's and to wonder if the man who had captivated her so completely would lead her to her doom.
This was a glorious concoction of the Hardy Boys, Scooby Doo & The Brandy Bunch. It was campy to the hilt, plot holes that'd sink a battleship, but I still thought it was a pretty fun read! ^.^
