The story continues in the aftermath of the fall the Sky Canopy. The city is now vulnerable to attack from the Ferals and a battle to save mankind is on the now visible horizon. The Ultras have their work cut out for them as they prepare for the inevitable confrontation but the Ferals have some new tricks of their own.
This is a solid sequel that builds on the first novel and introduces some new characters into the mix. Even though it appears that the story is intended to continue, this installment provides a solid conclusion, even if there are loose ends. Good book, good series.
