Good story the continuing story of the free company of archers from Cornwall, England in the late 12th and early 13th century. Not only are they a powerful army, the popes papal holy military order of poor and landless sailors, fierce fighting men 3000 strong and also the great power in the Mediterranean but also pirates themselves but with indulgences bought from the pope. A very exciting story hard to put down. Ive currently finished the Venetian Gambit and waiting for the next book to be published. Thank you Mr Archer ive completely enjoyed reading all of the archer series books waiting for more.

Fun

Continues in the amusing way of the other books. The characters age, life makes changes but the Company of Archers continues. Long may it do so!
