This book is fantastic!!!
The Savage Shadow boys are seriously hot and dangerous! When Lace runs away from her abusive ex she thinks it's her chance to step out of her family's shadow and finally live her own life. But when things get tough she finds herself struggling to make ends meet and finds work in the least likely of places...a strip club run by the Savage Shadows.
Caden Draycott has a bad reputation that Lace wants nothing to do with. But Caden can't deny the attraction he feels towards Lace and he's not going to stop until he has her. While he comes across as a tough and dominant alpha (and he is) Caden also has a loving side that makes him falling for Lace so sweet.
I wasn't expecting the twist towards the end of the book but it definitely added some excitement and intrigue that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this book, it can be read after My Bastard of as a stand alone.

Caden and Lace are pure fire!! I felt like I had to wipe off my Kindle as it fogged up from the steam, the tension, and the pure, unadulterated hotness seeping from the pages!! Alpha times a million, Caden was like a wrecking ball, annihilating anything in his path to get to Lace. The perfect match, she was equally as ferocious, not a meek bone in her body!! Their attraction gave me shivers, their devotion gave me chills, and their story? Made me SWOON!! The way these two characters tied together made for a heart-stopping, wild ride!! Absolutely loved it, and I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!! I can't wait for more of their stories!!

I got so sucked into this book I stopped answering my friends and just read!! It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next!! Some violence and kinky stuff were all it needed to keep my attention it seems!! It was a great book and Caden definitely earns a spot in my harem!!

Love, love, LOVED this story! This was the first book by Ellie Jean that I have read. As this is book 2 in this series, I will most definitely be going back for Book 1 in the Savage Shadows series and book 3 is on my must read list!
I read this whole book in one sitting, devoured it is more like it!
This group of men and the women they are bringing in are quite the family and as violent as it is, I kinda want to be a part of it!
This story is about Lace who has a major life change and after a chance meeting ends up working for the Savage Shadows. And so begins the intense attraction between Lace and Caden. Which I loved BTW. Watching Caden go from a single man who is comfortable playing the field to being hyper focused on Lace was amazing. That kind of attraction, devotion is what many women hope for and I loved immersing myself in it for 4-5 hours.
Not only does this story bring the heat between the sheets, it also has some drama, mystery and intrigue. I was totally wrapped up in this story and am completely sold on this series. Researching Ellie Jean is on my to do list for the weekend!
I am giving My Devil 5 stars and will impatiently wait for book 3! Bring on more Savage Shadows!

Lace and Caden burn up the pages in this second Savage Shadows book. At the beginning of the book we know very little about Lace, and the reader learns more about her at the same time, or just before, Caden does. Lace has a lot of secrets she is keeping, and these will intersect with Caden and his interests before everything is resolved.

This is the second book in The Savage Shadows Series. It can be read as a standalone.. but.. for optimum reading enjoyment I strongly recommend reading book one is the series My Bastard.
This is a dark and twisty read... not for the faint hearted. It's is blood thirsty and gritty. It takes no prisoners on the violence front...but is also filled with passion and emotion making for a wonderful blending of dark romance/MC and mafia read that is not only action packed but full of story.
There is no way of mistaking the chemistry that is between Caden and Lace, they have a lot in common and recognise their connection instantly. They are connected by their inner darkness but manage to bring light to each other souls. The Devil and his Unicorn 😍😍😍 and they meet their match in each other.
If you love a leading man who is not only jealous and possessive but a whole lotta kinky then sit back, dive in and enjoy one of the most Jealous/possessive anti heir reads I have read and enjoyed ( since I read the first in series )
I'm looking forward to seeing where this series goes next, there are a lot of wonderful bad boys and kick ass girls in these books... which leads to a plethora of possibilities and each one leads to an intriguing read.

Get ready for another ride! This is Caden’s story and it is just as hot and just as fun to read as My Bastard! I loved it! My Devil is right, but every devil needs an angel…
The Savage Shadows are at it again, this time Caden is thrown off by a sassy, fun and smart woman; and she keeps him on his toes. Caden owns a strip club and had the personality to match. He is bold and determined, flashy and smart mouthed. I loved his bravado. Lacey was a fun character to read because she is very intelligent yet has this almost innocent vibe to her. She fits in so well into Caden’s world it was almost too perfect. Their dynamic were amazing and this story is beyond hot!
What I think this author does so well, is the fact that her writing includes action and tension in such a way that the reader cannot help but turn the pages. I loved that this book was a romance but felt like an action book. I love that balance. This is a standalone story but I would recommend reading My Bastard as well, just because they are both awesome books. I had the pleasure of reading an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

Holy Hotness!!!!
I was introduced to Ellie Jean's writing through My Bastard with Slate and Emerald and I was hooked! I was thinking the next book would be Tanner and Crystal but was surprised to see that it was Caden!
Out of the four, he was probably the one whom you least expect to be a Dom or the devil reincarnate! But reading the first chapters and I was in love with the big guy! He was everything that you'd expect from being one of the Savage Shadow brothers but still had the power to surprise you at how quickly he falls head over heels in love with our girl Lace!
Ellie Jean does not focus entirely on her alpha males, she gives us matching alpha females to tame them! Lace is a sassy, talented and bike-loving princess that can slay anyone to avenge her family and the ones she loves and I love it! I want to be just like her!!!
The story is well written and true to what, I've noticed is Ellie Jean's style, just when you think the happily ever-after is there, she springs in a surpise or two that will make you go why?!?!?!?!?!
If this is your first Ellie Jean book, I promise you, you will not regret it!!!!

I absolutely loved My Devil. I was a huge fan of My Bastard, and we get to go back to the same world. Loved we get to see Emerald and Slate again. So far they are still my favorite out of the group.
In My Devil, we have Lace. Who there is so much more to her than meets the eye. But we don't see that just what she is made of until further in. I really enjoyed her personality, she is funny and strong. She is so fierce, and crazy and loyal. She can seriously hold her own, and is the only one who can bring Caden to his knees. And lets not forget about Caden, wow on the Savages. I have loved every single one. Caden is just as intense as Slate. He fell hard for Lace and will stop at nothing to own, love her. I do not want to give away any of the plot, part of the story being so great is all the surprises you find in store for you. I can tell you that the story is fun, fierce, sexy and intense. Full of a few surprises, you will not be able to put down My Devil once you start.

this was my first time reading this author. Even though there is a previous story with Slate, having not read that did not stop me from figuring out the story and the characters in it. It's a quick insta love story full of surprises, secrets and family. I love the values most MC stories have instilled in them, family is family blood or not. These alphas have a knack for feisty secure women. I do recommend to read Slate's story first. that's what I'm reading now. however this is an honest review for a book I volunteered to read, and I can tell you that I was not disappointed nor let down as I have been lately in a lot of insta loves. It may have been rushed like most insta reads are, but it was done in a way that made sense and it wasn't completely far-fetched. So please one click I don't think you'll be disappointed

When she finally cuts herself loose from him she realizes that she has no where to go . She has talent and street smart but no job, home or plan. The moment Caden finds this beautiful woman sitting on his sidewalk he is captivated and the minute she opens her mouth and is full of such sass he is intrigued . He takes her into his club and soon they both realize that the opportunities are endless and yes Lace is full of surprises .Their attraction is immediate and combustible . So many twist and turns with sizzling off the pages heat . Great story!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! My Devil is sinfully hot and delicious. I absolutely enjoyed every word in this book. Caden and Lace’s story is fantastic and sexy. I usually fall the sexy ass male character and don’t get me wrong, I love Caden especially in the bedroom WOW but Lace is my kickass girl. I adore her and her character is amazing and loved her strong side. My Devil was intense, action pack, secrets that make your jaw drop, hot sexy chemistry between Caden and Lace. This book had me turning the pages and I couldn’t stop. Absolutely 5 star book and can not wait for more books from Ellie Jean.

My Devil is book 2 in the new Savage Shadow series and the second book I've read by the talented author Ellie Jean. But definitely won't be the last. In book one we met Slate, Ocean, Tanner, Emerald and Crystal. Book two is about Caden Draycott and Lace Baxter, I was hooked from page one. The plot is full of amazing characters, action, drama, suspense, secrets, lots of twist and turns, bit of humor and lots of steamy sex. I loved Lace and Caden's story, is very passionate. Lace and Caden, not even sure how to fully explain these two together. She is one sassy, feisty, tough woman, a true match for alpha Caden. Lacey's family has taught her to be strong , Caden's family tried to knock him down. These two together are hot af! All of these men need strong woman to stand by their side and take a good punishment. Allegiances are formed in this book in the most unlucky place. Can't wait for more of these guys!

These characters are fierce, crazy sexy, so much fun! I'm stating this now, Caden is mine! I claim him! He is one dominant, alpha male and he makes no apologies. Lace is bad a$$, seriously, this chick can hold her own and bring her man to his knees in one fell swoop! I had so much fun reading this book. The angst of new love, laugh out loud moments and nail biting suspense fills the pages and pulls you in!

Omg! This by far is the best book I've read this year! Caden is a true heartstopping Alpha male that made me speechless! Lace is truly unique I love her fire and honesty, to see a match made in hell become heaven for these broken devils was completely captivating. Steamy, Hot, Sexy, Raw. I could go on!! The chemistry between Caden and Lace is instant but they both try to deny what they are feeling. I could feel it in between the pages! Loved the twist the author brought to this story. Highly recommend this book.

Ellie Jean had me by page one when Lace catches her cheating boyfriend in a compromising situation. When she takes off and tries to make something of herself in LA. She meets sexy mysterious Caden and let the sexually tension begin. This book wove two broken people into one spectacular hot roller coaster of a ride. I read this book before I read the first one and now I am going to back track and read the first book. Look forward to more from this author.

This was another amazing addition to this series! I enjoyed everything in this book. It was intense with action and suspense that had me guessing until the very end. I was hooked from the start. This book had such great characters, Lace is so strong and independent while Caden is protective and loyal. They make a great couple. I loved them both. I look forward to reading more by Ellie jean in the future!

This is the second book I've read by this author and they just keep getting better. The author does such an amazing job setting the scene to make the reader feel as if they were there with the characters. The main characters Lacey and Caden are perfect for each other and I just love them. My Devil had a little bit of everything from love to suspense. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for the authors next release.

I dont really know what to say about this book except that it was fantastic. I couldn't put it down. It had me on the edge if my seat with my heart in my mouth but I loved every word of it. It was a fantastic storyline with plenty of turns to keep me wanting more and the characters were so enjoyable to read about. I can't wait to read more in this series.
