Liam is an openly gay college student and is a member of the Beta Gamma Zeta fraternity. His roommate is his Hispanic best friend Hugo whom he has been desiring for a long time. When Hugo tells his best friend that he is ordering a silicone sex toy, Liam decides to play a prank on Hugo after watching something similar in a porn movie. The prank works initially and Liam gets what he lusted after but soon things get more complicated when the other frat brothers, Dominic and Marty get involved. The book consists of seven chapters and the story is narrated from Liam’s point of view.
Having read Nathan Bay’s other books I knew what to expect when it comes to the tone of the story and the quality of content. The author has his own signature of creating a conflict and then resolving it with a happy ending mixing both lust and love together. The story has several themes including straight to gay, domination, and submission. They were well incorporated in the situations along with the characters. I liked Liam’s greed and submission. He had the choice to say yes or no. When the situation did not work for him he had to say no and stand up for himself. I am not sure if I am supposed to dislike Marty or not but all I can say that I like characters who know what they want and are sure about their needs, Marty was like that regardless of his flaws. Hugo’s main highlight for me was confessing his love and standing up for his friend. Dominic was also an interesting character and at the same time a puzzling one. You will understand his role more near the end.
I enjoyed all the sex scenes. I feel they will appeal more to readers who are looking for domination and submission types of scenes. They come in different flavors as every character has his own touch and style of having fun. Frat House Boy Toy was part of my reading for the holiday season and I am glad that I picked it up. Very entertaining.

March 17, 2020Why did I read this you may ask, I'm in 14 day self-quarantine and I need something to take my mind off of the fact that I'm stuck inside for the next to weeks. This was fine, just something quick and easy. Pretty good smut that ended up being sweeter at the end than I was expecting.

Ok...this read like rape\stockholm syndrome. It gets referenced at one point. Liam was greedy & confused acting...like putting someone in chastity isn't too far but putting a candy cane in your ass is...This was Not for me.

This had a slightly darker edge to it than I was expecting and I didn't enjoy that element to it.
