***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!! And I have bought my own copy as I do most of Sable’s books!

This is the 3rd book in this Xmas series, and it is still in Sable’s fabulous world of shifters. This is for adults only due to the steamy content.

This was my favorite story with the rags to riches theme because I’ve seen students who struggle with the same things mentioned by Carol in this book. This book had me crying for Carol. I’m glad she put Ethan in his place with her sass! I couldn’t put this story down. Each one is unique, and you never know what Krampus will do next! I love all the whole gang at The Wreath! I can’t wait to read the next one!

I highly recommend to anyone who love Christmas magic and sexy bad boy bear shifters!

This is book 3 of 12 and can be read as a stand alone.
This is Ethan and Carol's story, with a special guest appearance from Prancer. I adore Ethan! He is my favorite so far. Ethan had to be tricked into going into the council room during the Marron Clan's Thanksgiving get together. Ethan is a billionaire and feels his time is to valuable for Clan get togethers or for finding a mate, the person he can trust with his money is himself. Ethan is an arrogant, full of himself, add in the beginning, but it was such fun reading how he changes during this one.
Carol works at the Bear Claw bakery and she has no idea about Ethan's money. Carol just knows that she's not putting up with his shenanigans. She's not afraid to put him in his place!!
I floved this short little romance. This one made chuckle several times.
These 12 mate books are wonderful. They have sex scenes at the end, but what PNR doesnt? THESE are so great for the holiday season because they are more about the story and Christmas magic. RECOMMENDED

This is Ethan and Carol's story . Ethan is tricked into going into the council's room where he quickly learns that money cannot solve everything . Carol is a baker whom just wants to earn her money without having to deal much with Christmas . The first time she sees Ethan he is trying to get off a rowboat while grabbing a small tree and he loses his balance so when he comes up to get Krampus's order he leaves one back of a mess ! Carol is kind of upset over the mess and his attitude but at the same time turned on. Oh wow that sneaky rabbit lol I could just picture this happening!! I do feel for poor Barbara no one ever believes her at first . I loved the gifts they gave each other and how Carol figured out how to spread Christmas joy ! This is well written and recommended to all !

Prancer Claws is the third book in The Twelve Mates of Christmas series. This series takes place over a number of years with one bad boy being reformed each year. This time it's billionaire bear shifter Ethan & human Carol in the spotlight.

Carol is an baker at the Seattle Bear Claw Bakery & she's signed on to a temp position in Montana for the Christmas holidays. She grew up in the foster system & always felt like an outsider wherever she was during the holidays so Christmas doesn't mean much to her. She figured that this temp job would let her earn some much needed extra cash. She wasn't quite prepared for the big bear shifter lumberjack that came in everyday with his boss, but she wasn't about to take any nonsense from him.

Ethan is the next clan member up for an intervention. He's a billionaire that has not only avoided finding his mate, but he hasn't shifted in years, either. All this has pushed him into the early stages of mate madness & the clan doesn't give him a choice. It's either go to The Wreath, Montana, train for the big Ride & find his mate by Christmas day or lose his bear forever. He didn't expect the fiery baker who had no problem giving him the what-for, but knew right away she was his. Now if he could just convince her.

This third installment of this series follows the plot line set up in the first two books fairly closely but with enough differences to make it interesting. I must say that my favorite characters in this series so far are the reindeer. They provide a little lightness along with trying to help their host. The female lead is strong, but not over the top, while the male lead seems like more of a brat than a bad boy, but it works anyway. The supporting cast is the same as in the first books & does their job without taking over the story. Plus there's a hint or two of the plots for future installments as well. All in all this is a light read for a quiet day.

Cinderella with her Fated Mate

I just finished book 3 of “The Twelve Masters of Christmas" it is another fun read if you enjoy a paranormal / shifter BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) romance Sable Sylvan has the books for you. She takes fairytales we grew up with and added her own flavor to them and I can say that they are entertaining with laugh out loud dialogue and fun characters.
Sable has once again taken one of my favorite fairytales, "Cinderella", and put her own special werebear / fated mates spin on it. We have a naughty Ethan, a werebear billionaire who turned into a Grinch and who hasn't shifted into his bear for over two years, all work was turning dangerous for Ethan and a BBW, Carol, who took the seasonal temp job as Baker at the Bear Claw Bakery in Wreath Montana. Carol knows what it's like to not have anything, even as an adult she still makes due with what she has, fixing the soles on her shoes with glue instead of buying new. Ethan finds out about Carol's financial issues and sends her a new wardrobe and some special chocolate to help with her Christmas project for the Secret Santana Christmas Party. With the help of Krampus a Christmas demon, Avery a Christmas elf who runs the Best Claws Bakery, Pandora Claws, Santana's daughter and Jack Winter an ice ritual who is Old Man Winter's son Ethan helps Carol find she does believe in Christmas magic and that giving is so fulfilling. Watch for Krampus' pickle ornament!

Mister money man billionaire Ethan McLean is about to get a new leaf on life because Clan Marron has had enough of his shenanigans and they have made a deal with the demon shifter goat who has the power to take Ethan's shift and his mate mark and he makes an agreement not knowing that he would be losing these personal parts of him. He is pushed right out of the Clan council meeting room and into Wreath, Montana where he will work his butt off until he is assigned to a job that he is there to complete. He meets Carol Carter who has been hired by the Christmas elf Avery but she cannot tell Carol why she has really been hired. Carol has never known about the joy of Christmas because of her family life so there is no joy in the season for her only making money she cannot even afford a good coat or decent boots for the cold weather so that is another reason she jumped at the job. she is so taken with Ethan until a rabbit steals her purse and she doesn't see Ethan around trying to help get it back she thinks he is a coward and tells him so, but there is so much more she in the dark about. Good story line. I received a copy as a gift from the author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.

This is a lite-hearted Shifter Christmas romance story and a great addition to the Twelve Mates of Christmas.  You will really enjoy these books.   When Billionaire Bear shifter Ethan McLean goes to his Clans Thanksgiving celebration he gets tricked into a meeting of the Elder Council questioning him as to why he hasn't found a mate yet.  Concerned about him, they called in Santana Claus and Krumpas for help. This is how Ethan ended on the naughty list, plus he loses his mate mark and his bear while he works on getting off of the naughty list.  Carol Carter volunteered to work over the holiday season for the Bear Claw Bakery.  She had a sad upbringing that made her tough and bold and not really believe/celebrate Christmas.
  
Can Ethan earn his way off the naughty list by Christmas day?  Can he learn that money cannot buy everything?  Will Carol learn to overcome her past and learn to believe in Christmas magic?  Can you resist such a great story?

Prancer Claws

Oh my goodness Prancer Claws was just WOW!!! Sable Sylvan is a newish author for me, I started with Dasher Claws which is the first book in this fantastic Christmas series. It has all of my favorite things. Christmas, bear shifters, an alpha hero that has to prove himself worthy to his mate, a heroine with a backbone and a bit of sass and most importantly a happily ever after. This book is very loosely a Cinderella story. I have read a lot of shifter books and Ms. Sylvan definitely does shifters right!!

It is very well written with just one or two spelling, grammar or word mistakes. The story flows well and is easy to follow.

Prancer Claws is a stand alone story but I highly recommend reading the series from the beginning. There are crossover characters and ongoing backstories that you will miss out on if you don’t read from the beginning. Happy reading.

Ethan McLean made the mistake of showing up without his fated mate again to Thanksgiving with the Clan and now he is being sent where his fellow Clan mates were sent n the past years....
Ethan was more focused on running his business then finding his mate or using his shift and now he is in The Wreath trying to get off the naughty list (which turns out is real).
Carol Carter has luckily landing a temp job in The Wreath at the local Bear Claws Bakery during the Christmas season. She is tired of just scrapping by or having secondhand things so when this opportunity came up she acted fast because the money is great and she could care less about the holidays!
Ethan & Carol are becoming friends but there is a little spark...possibly something??

Entertaining short reads, but all are written with the same formula so they get old fast. Split them up to give yourself a break from the formula.


Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Once again this talented author has written a highly entertaining & delightful bear shifter romance. The plot is well-written & full of humor. The characters are quite well-develop with different sides to their personalities and get up to some unusual antics.
It is about: an arrogant bad boy billionaire grizzle bear shifter (Ethan) who feels time is money & is too busy to look for a mate & a curvy female baker (Carol) who refuses to put up with his nonsense.
There is: bear shifters, a reindeer shifter, Santana Claus, various kinds of shifters, a matchmaker, a caring alpha, clan elders, a Christmas demon, elves, twist & turns, some intrigue, humor, magic, portals, manipulations, shock, dismay, defiance, chemistry, friendship, gifts, fated mates, love, happiness, some steamy scenes & a satisfying HEA.

Ethan was headed to the to the clan Marron get together. He's a werebear a billionaire. He has everything he could want but a mate and that's a huge problem for a werebear his age . Mate madness. His clan is not going to let him put this off anymore so he is being sent to Santa's bad boys camp. He has one month to get off the naughty list, get his bear back, his mate mark and find his mate plus learn to be prancer and fly with Santa on the run.

Carol's mom and dad as drug addicts so she grew up in the system not having much of anything. Now is a baker in another city and came as temp help to the wreath for Christmas. She doesn't believe in Christmas or magic.
So sweet and lot's of spice , drama, fun, action, I love the characters and storyline I couldn't put it down. It really is a fun read. So don't miss it

Carol lived a hard life and had a practical no nonsense outlook.
With one set down from Carol, Ethan swears he's in love.
Will Ethan get off the Naughty list in time or turn into a frog?

This Cinderella type of Christmas story is a definite one for the books!! (Pun intended lol!) Ethan billionaire were-bear, gorgeous playboy and on the Naughty List for not trying to find his fated mate and Carol no nonsense BBW baker fireworks (good and bad) explode! She doesn't know he's a billionaire or that he's a were-bear turned into a reindeer shifter but she finds out in the end and what an end it is!! Ethan is a sweet guy who doesn't show it, he likes to think his money will take care of everything but obviously it doesn't and he finally shows he sweet side to Carol and boom fated mates!! This Santana Claus should take up match making in his off months, he really GREAT at it!!

Another cute addition to the series. The puns keep coming and the naughtiness keeps Avery and Krampus on their toes.
Ethan is a bear shifter that has earned billions of dollars as a businessman in New York City. The problem is that he has focused on earning money instead of finding his fated mate. Now his clan has sent him North with Krampus.
Carol grew up poor with drug addicted parents and then was placed in the "system". So she doesn't believe in Christmas, only in working hard to earn what she needs.
Ethan needs to change his "naughty" mark into a "nice" mark. Can Ethan learn what he needs in order to get his shift and mate mark back as well as win Carol's heart? Can he learn the real meaning of Christmas?

Ethan Mc Lean thought this was going to be another boring clan gathering where he would be scolded for not finding his fated mate. Little did he know that his Clan had an agreement with someone very special at the North Pole to provide shifters to pull that magical sleigh during the upcoming Christmas eve ride. As Ethan is tricked into seeing the Clan elders he finds himself sent off to Wreath to train as none other than Prancer of reindeer fame. How he comes to be there and what magically happens while he is there is for you the reader to find out. Is he going to be able to handle all that is thrown at him? As the story progresses the klutzy bear turns into a not so klutzy reindeer, the sassy baker starts to believe in magic and both may reform enough to get a Cinderella ending. Sable Sylvan has taken the Cinderella fairytale and twisted it into an exciting Christmas holiday read.

The third story is about Ethan, a billionaire who hasn't shifted in two years, and Carol, who took the temp job just for the money and has never believed in Christmas. What a wonderful addition to the "Twelve Days of Christmas Series. A modern day Cinderella story with a twist! Love how Author Sable Sylvan blends her characters in such a way that the reader is entranced by her stories! I love the way she adds her type of twist to the storyline that keeps us so entertained. Her Bad boys are just too yummy!! I enjoy the continuation of each of these stories, I love seeing Pandora, Jack, Avery as well as Jealous and Santana Claus. I cannot wait to see who else will be sent to Wreath to go from Naughty to Nice!!

Growing up in the foster system didn't leave a lot of faith in Christmas magic for Carol. Ethan has pushed his bear aside to become the millionaire he is today. He's been put on the naughty list and needs to find a way off. Will Carol learn the that magic in Christmas is real? Will Ethan be able to realize there is more to life than money and work?

Loved this rags to riches story! I loved how Ethan slowly changed and how he started using his money for good. Loved how despite what Carol thought she was still willing to put the work in to help make everyone else's Christmas great. Good read!

Ethan McLean is known as one of the Bad Boy Billionaires who has time only for working hard and playing hard, when he does play. He feels his money will solve all his clan obligations and doesn't think twice about what they all have been trying to tell him about mate madness.
Carol Carter has no time for nonsense from a bad boy lumberjack and has no Christmas spirit. When given the task of finding a unique theme for the big boss's Christmas Eve party she is forced to seek the help of Ethan.
I love the chemistry that is between the main characters and the take no bull attitude of Carol.

Ethans turn to have Krampus and Santas reindeer Prancer hep him get off the NAUGHTY list and find a True Mate before time runs out... Ethan is a billionaire who has no athletic ability other than lounging by the pool having people wait on him hand and foot, but all his money never helped him find is true mate. Krampus is a bit worried about Ethan being able to fly in Prancers form since he is abit clumsy but maybe Ethans swimming ability will help and he will get the jb done flying Santas sleigh.

This is the 3rd book in this series , they are stand alones with no cliff hangers. Billionaire werebear shifter Ethan gets put on the naughty list and runs into BBW Carol at the Bear Claw Bakery where she works and acts like a spoiled brat. She puts him in his place. Can they find true happiness with that kind of start? You have to read to find out. If you are in the mood for a Christmas Romance with some heat and fun you should really read this series
