Vanessa has a complicated history with her best friend, Sebastian Locke; more complicated than anyone else might ever know. Sebastian’s penchant for driving away any man who so much as looks at her is legendary. Still, she wakes up to an empty bed and a note beside her coffee instead of him every time they hook up. She doubts her rockstar drummer bad boy will ever be ready to commit.
When Sebastian is away at rehab, Jessie makes it his goal to cheer Vanessa up any way he can. He brings out her kinky side and is there for her in every way. Vanessa finds something she didn’t know she needed in Jessie. If only he wasn’t Sebastian’s brother.
This was Definitely a Good Book, I was hooked for sure. My only issue is the male characters struck me the wrong way, I LOVE the sex scenes they are HOT, but I wish they had more meaning or feeling to them. Other that that the book was AMAZING and I didnt want to put it down (I hope that makes sense.) I cant wait to see what the other 2 hold!
I didn't like this book even though it is a genre I would read. There wasn't much of a story line. I understand the genre was erotic/romance so I knew the content but there was more sex then anything else. It was every few pages or so. The first couple of chapters seemed promising then the story seemed to drag on with the main character sleeping with the 2 brothers because she couldn't decide what one she liked the most. There was so much sex that the story couldn't really develop. As I said I would normally read this genre but I also like a book to have a story line . There was less sex in 50 shades of grey than this book. I got bored very quickly but stuck with it. But I will admit it was difficult. I thought the main character had come to a decision but towards the end of the book she seemed to have changed her mind again. I wanted to shout to her to just pick one or neither of them. I believe I was the correct audience - female in her 30s. I definitely expected more of a story to the book. There are more books in the series but I will not be reading them. The book ended with the brother Vanessa picked going to Japan for work for 3 months and the other brother staying behind and spending time with Vanessa. The blurb to the new book even said she is back spending time with the other brother and will she go back there. I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers Only.
Thank you Twi J. Bryant for this book. The title is an understatement. Two brothers a band and a girl as a best friend. Vanessa and Sebastian are best friends who cross the lines and have sex, and being friends with benefits isn’t working. Vanessa will settle and let Sebastian do whatever he wants just as long as she is able to spend time with him. Sebastian wants his Vanessa and whoever else comes in his path. Vanessa wants more and Sebastian thinks he’s ready to give that to her until he finds out that Anna, the girl that he’s also sleeping with is pregnant. Vanessa has put her feelings aside for him for so long until Jessie steps in and rescues her from herself. Jessie brings out things in Vanessa that she had hidden away and there friendship turns into more than they imagined. This book is about friendship and trust, substance abuse, sex and lies and how to overcome and turn your life around. This is a wonderful book and will truly leave you obsessed and wanting more. I recommend it to read.
An interesting rock and roll romance triad. The main female character has a legal career that she is doing very well at, yet, she leads a complex life regarding her romantic relationships. She seems to spend a fair chunk of time crying in this first book, which is part of a series of three. On to book two to see if things brighten up for her at all. Thoughts that come to mind are self-indulgent and it would appear that as strong as the main female character is within her work environment, when she is at home she seems to be dependent upon male companionship in whatever form this takes. Excellent Characterizations of all three main characters as well as the supporting cast members.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel via Booksprout and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
Hmmm... where to start? The writing flowed and definitely will keep you reading but still something seemed a bit off. And that something was the plot it’s self. This book has a lot going on it and without getting into and giving anything there’s a lot of sex. And at times it’s meaningless and unnecessary. With that said the writing of those scene will leaving gasping for air.
I actually think this book alone could have been broken into several books. I only say that because when you think steamy romance and all the tropes they are just about all jammed into this one book. Which was part of my 4 star rating. It was just too much that it really detracted from the characters.
Another thing is that the characters se to shift personality wise mid book.
I was given a review copy of the book by the author in exchange for an honest review. I'm gonna start this off by giving the pun that the authors are sure to keep hearing - I was OBSESSED with 'Obsessed.' I couldn't put the book down! I loved the writing, the characters, the story... all of it! It was attention grabbing from the start and really captivates you. I highly recommend the book to anyone who loves romance, strong characters, and isn't afraid of a little sexy mixed in. ;)
Obsessed is an truly amazing book. This story is gripping, captivating, and spellbinding and once I started reading I couldn't put it down. The storyline is skillfully written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page, and the characters are well developed and palpable. A fantastic story from beginning to end and one I definitely recommend!
This was a 4 star read for me. The writing was great... I liked the characters and the relationships. My only drawback was that I had was I felt there was a lot going on in this book. I think I would have liked it better if the relationship with Sebastian was built up and done in just this book and then followed by the relationship with Jesse.

The Locke Brothers Series book one kept me turning pages two brothers both in love with the same woman. This is Vanessa, Sebastian, and Jessie's story. I want to read the next book. Be warned the ends on a sort of cliff- hanger. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received a copy of this book from voracious readers and it was quite different from any other book that I have read. The whole plot was unique and interesting. I liked how all of the relationships developed throughout the book. The story was conveyed understandably and well. I would recommend this book to people who like hard to come by and twisted romances.
I had a great time reading Vanessa and Jessie’s story. Their characters are well written and engaging and the chemistry between them is undeniable. Will Vanessa let herself love Jessie so that she can have a true relationship? What transpires through the pages was well worth reading.

This was my first read from this author. Amazing story, that has that.... will they won't they end up together. Vanessa is a great female protagonist. I will definitely read more from this author in the future. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I dont know what exactly I was expecting but this definitely exceeded those expectations.
Vanessa is a sweetheart and an amazing friend. She puts her own needs to the side in order to maintain a friendship that means the world to her. But things don't always go as planned. So her devastating love for one brother led her in to the arms of the other.
Sebastian was so hot and cold that it only made sense for Nessa to fall for the stability that Jessie had to offer.
This was very well written. My only complaint is that I wasn't aware that this was the beginning of a continuous story. There are 2 other books necessary to read if you want to know how things turn out with Nessa and the Locke brothers.

This was a hot steamy erotic romance story perfect for a quick afternoon read. A great heart pounding read. The story was very well written with great characters. It drew me in and I had it finished in one sitting. I would highly recommend this read.
Well written. Grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Lots of steamy scenes. I recommend this book to anyone likes bdsm. It may trigger some people with those parts of the book.
Excellent read. You will love the characters You will yourself emotional connection with each One. Find your comfy spot, relax and read This enjoyable book
this is a book filled lots of emotion and conflict. This is not a happy story, but it is a good story. It is a total rollercoaaaster ride to read. These three people a broken souls trying to find the right path. I not sure the HEA can last.
There are very few stories I've read in recent years that hit me as emotionally as this book did. Having first read it on Tumblr, I was delighted to learn it would be available in print and online formats and put in my pre-order as soon as I could.
No spoilers here, but with friendship, love, family and heartbreak at the centre of its story, Obsessed is one I'd recommend all my friends to read. The writing, particularly in the more emotive parts, is superb and tugs at the heartstrings while the relationship(s) between the three central characters come across as so real it's almost as if they're people you know.
I don't cry very often but when I do - that's when I know something is truly special. The last few chapters of this book, as did the rest of them, had me gripped and not wanting the story to end. When it did, I couldn't shut up about it, and I won't be doing so for a while. This is a brilliant, brilliant book, and I can't wait to see and read what this writing duo come out with next.
Update: Jan 2020. This story has now been split into three books and although I know what happens, I couldn't stop myself from re-reading the first part again. There are maybe a handful of books I come back to more than once - this continues to be one of them. I'd recommend it to all.
This book most definitely deserves its five stars! I'd give it 100 stars if that were possible. One of the best novels I've ever read. Not only is the plot engaging and lively, the characters are almost tangible and make the reader wish they were in the story instead of an outside observer. The authors deserve all the praise on the world for this masterpiece. I anxiously await the second installment!!
