Kurumi reunited with her childhood friend Nagio after many years. She was very perplexed after Nagio kissed her out of nowhere and confessed that he likes her. However, she eventually realized that she also likes Nagio, and gave him a kiss herself! Kurumi's overprotective brother, Ataka, just also happened to be there to witness it! In his anger, Ataka decided to take some extreme measures against Kurumi…?!
I'm slightly confused as to why this volume is rated much lower than the first one, because I thought that this was the same—if not better—than the first volume. The first two chapters had me laughing so much, that’s when I finally realized that this is a rom-com and that’s the real reason I’m enjoying this series. During the last two chapters the laughs slowed down, and then the end of the last chapter happened, and maybe that’s the cause of the low ratings.
If you didn’t think that Nagio (the childhood friend) was rape-y during the first volume, I’m sure you’ll think he’s rape-y in this one. In the first volume, Kurumi (the main character) tells him to stop, says “no”, does the whole works, and he kisses her anyway. In this volume… The same happens except in a more intimate situation… If you catch my drift.
That was pretty uh… Whack-ass to say the least. But at this point it’s not really anything unusual from him. Like, what were readers expecting? For this not to happen? For him to suddenly give a shit about Kurumi’s consent before he forces himself on her? I’m not saying what he’s doing is in any way shape or form okay, but it’s just a little late to be shocked about it at this point. I put up with it because I know it’s a fictional character and because it is an otherwise funny and entertaining manga. It would definitely be good for this to be brought up at some point however, since he is acting like a creepy scumbag. It really wouldn’t be great if he continued acting this way without repercussion for much longer, or learning the error of his ways, etc. etc..
For people who are reading this manga more for the romance side of things, I can see how this would really ruin the manga for them. Also, Kurumi's brother started to annoy even me in this volume, so I'm sure he was infuriating for romance-oriented readers. However, all I’m personally here for is the laughs and entertainment, and it delivered on that front so I am satisfied.

He is still out here just kissing people but they are an official couple. The bother…. Okay he is a weirdo now. She says she wants her bf to touch her leave her alone. But fast enjoyable little read.
Ok, this would have been a 3 if not 4 star if it wasn't for her brother. It's not even FUNNY! He's just creepy as hell. He LOCKS his sister up for wanting to see a boy, literally locks her up. Where the hell are their parents?! Nagio tries his best to see her, and most of their scenes are cute but sometimes....Nagio just acts like a horny boy. Almost like he just likes her for her body since they dont talk much because the brother wont let them date normally. At the end, after days of ignoring her (because he was busy with school activities) he decides he wants to have sex! Like hello! You have barely spoken to the girl, you haven't seen her in days and when you do you want to pressure her into sex?! This manga is stupid. But since its only 4.....Ill finish it lol
The art is cute and I can tolerate the main couple together — but everything is dragged down by Kurumi’s brother who has a pretty disgusting sister complex. I can understand him being upset that Kurumi has a boyfriend all of a sudden, but locking her up in her room and going crazy when she’s with another guy make me go, “YIKES.”
This was mostly just wildly annoying. Every cute moment was ruined by the overbearing brother, which can be funny but only sparingly and this is damn near every scene. Add that onto Nagio just blowing passed consent constantly and it's just frustrating. Perfectly normal scenes go from cute to "his eyes are scary" so damn fast.
This volume was... a lot better than the first one once I dropped my cute rom-com expectation and just went along with the comedy aspect of it. Comedy is just not my go to.
The brother is annoying as hell. And there are still moments when the boyfriend is crossing limits.
I already knew I was going to stop after this volume, but what the heck?! Nagio really doesn't give a sh*t about consent. And Ataka being an overprotective brother and acting super jealous is annoying as well. No one cares what she really wants.
The lead boy needs to learn about consent in the worst way. This is the sort of shoujo romance I'd feel less-than-good about giving to actual teenagers.
I didn’t think it would be possible for the second volume to be even worse than volume one. Once again, Ataka is one of the most boring and annoying character I’ve ever come across in a manga.
