Lisa Jackson is the number-one New York Times bestselling author of over ninety-five novels, including the Rick Bentz and Reuben Montoya Series, the Pescoli and Alvarez Series, the Savannah series, and numerous stand alone novels. She also is the co-author of One Last Breath, Last Girl Standing, and the Colony Series, written with her sister and bestselling author Nancy Bush, as well as the collaborative novels Sinister and Ominous, written with Nancy Bush and Rosalind Noonan. There are over thirty million copies of her novels in print and her writing has been translated into twenty languages.
Before she became a nationally bestselling author, she was a mother struggling to keep food on the table by writing novels, hoping against hope that someone would pay her for them. Today, neck deep in murder, her books appear on The New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly national bestseller lists.
With dozens of bestsellers to her name, Lisa Jackson is a master of taking readers to the edge of sanity—and back—in novels that buzz with dangerous secrets and deadly passions. She continues to be fascinated by the minds and motives of both her killers and their pursuers—the personal, the professional, and the downright twisted. As she builds the puzzle of relationships, actions, clues, lies, and personal histories that haunt her protagonists, she must also confront the fear and terror faced by her victims and the harsh and enduring truth that, in the real world, terror and madness touch far too many lives and families.
I absolutely love this. You won't be disappointed if any books by Lisa Jackson. WICKED LIES Laura Adderley didn't plan to get pregnant, though she'll do anything to protect her baby. But now a reporter is asking questions about the lodge. And while he figures out Laura's connection to the story, Laura can sense a psychopath bent on her destruction . . .
SOMETHING WICKED Detective Savannah Dunbar just wants to wrap up paperwork before taking medical leave. But her department's investigation into a double homicide has suddenly become personal. There are disturbing rumors about the Colony, its matriarch, and its history. Yet Savannah knows they’re no match for the wicked truth . . .
WICKED WAYS Elizabeth Gaines Ellis wants to believe she’s just an ordinary suburban wife and mother. Yet for months, she’s worried that she's the cause of a series of brutal deaths. No one takes her seriously—except the private investigator prying into her past. But others have secrets too, and a relentless urge to kill without remorse . . .
This is four books in one, but each story continues the tale of a group of women who are being terrorized by a man named Justice Turnbull. The books are dark and eerie, very scary at times and even bordering on a horror story. I enjoyed getting to know the women who were targeted as victims in each book. Each one also had a hero, the romantic interest for them, so that took away some of the horror. I love the books by both authors, so for them to pen this series together was very special. Fans of dark romantic suspense with a lot of thrills will enjoy this series!
Clever written, I usually don't like multiple authors in one book, however they have done it well. I won this book in a give away and was pleasantly surprised by it.. The story line is good, the characters well developed.
2nd time reading this series, I wanted to make sure I was up to date to read the 5th and final book of the Colony Series. I love this series and found the characters likeable and I'm sad to know that I'm about to read the final book
