But Nick quickly finds himself cast into a spiral of violence that takes him to Mexico, and into Juarez - the most violent city on Earth. His mission: kidnap the head of the La Fronterra drugs cartel and get him back to the UK to face trial for murder. British super spook defeats DEA and Mexican cartels

This is a standard Rambo with British accent takes on multitudes ignores pain and succeeds. Sadly the copyediting is superior to most of the American works in the same genre. Implausible good luck is the key stone.

It's the first time I've read any of Ross Kemp's fiction but I really enjoyed it.

The lead character goes up against Mexican gangs and you can really appreciate the level of detail. I never followed Ross' documentary tv series but you can see it has paid off when reading his work.

Well written book, tense at times and the scene was set really well. The ending was a bit lacklustre for me but all in all a good effort.
