- Super fast read
- Deals with school bullies
- Friendships and relationships (having a crush)

This book is a very short read which I loved. It is based on a young boy who is obsessed with drawing. He draws everything around him - friends, peers, teachers you name it. The general plot is; his drawings begin to 'come to life'. The things he draws start to really happen... or so he thinks?

SPOILER:

Joe learns that things he was drawing were very dark in ways - drawing a boy he didn't like laying dead in a coffin etc. The idea that 'things he draws comes to life' helps him realise he shouldn't be wishing people bad, and he shouldn't be drawing bad things.

This book is for younger readers or those who want something quick and easy to get into (like i did).
It is also dyslexia friendly.

Good book interesting plot. While I understand the sentiment the main character seems a little bit like he wants to control things as well as the antagonist.

A young boy starts to believe that what he draws will come true.

Not a bad short story – but the ending was too sentimental.
