Deep in the heart of winter, all is quiet in Charm Cove. Or so Moira Wicked likes to think. The charming town in Maine is blanketed with snow, and magic is murmuring under the surface, but nothing is amiss.
Until it’s time for maple sugaring season. One of the earliest signs of spring is when the maple trees are ready to tap for sap, which becomes maple sugar, and syrup, and more. Once the first few trees are tapped, Charm Cove residents start reporting missing buckets of maple sap. At first, it’s only a few and then it’s almost all of them.
It’s a maple caper, and Charm Cove residents are riled up.
In the midst of the missing maple sap dustup, Moira finds herself caught in the middle because, of course, everyone she knows is missing maple sap. Maple sugaring is big business, and money is on the line. Who knew money and maple syrup would make people so crazy?
Meanwhile, Charm Cove is still a beacon to the wider world with its magic being bottled up and sold in its charming stores and online.
Take a visit to Charm Cove, where Wicked meets Good and where you just might find there’s almost always more than meets the eye.
Lucy May is a paranormal witchy cozy mystery author and the creator of the Wicked Good Mystery Series, set in the magical coastal town of Charm Cove, Maine.
Her humorous mysteries feature amateur sleuths, small-town secrets, talking cat familiars, and just a touch of romance. Blending charm, snark, and spellwork, Lucy’s stories celebrate found family, second chances, and the everyday magic hiding in plain sight.
Lucy draws inspiration from foggy harbors, strong coffee, and her enduring belief that a little magic makes everything better.
This was a good addition to the Wicked Good Mystery series. As usual, Moira is in the thick of things. She and Liam are cute, and I'm glad they're planning their wedding. The mystery was interesting and kept me guessing. I am a big fan of the cover. It may be my favorite so far! Overall, I enjoyed the mystery and the characters. 4 stars. I will be reading the next book.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
Once again, Lucy has excelled! Moira and Liam are still being pressured about their wedding date - and someone is using magic to steal maple syrup buckets, and cut lines - magic is being used, and it is up to the townsfolk to work out who how and why! I love these stories about Charm Cove - each one can ne read as a stand alone, but I for one would hate to miss out on any of them!

The Great Maple Caper #4 - Pretty good mystery and plenty of "when is the wedding". The storylines contain a few kinks and an addition of a rather nice character (my favorite over many). The twins are still being themselves and trying to help investigate as well as solve a puzzle. All the characters are performing their duties while the ladies keep asking "when is the wedding?", driving Moira nuts. I like the sexual tension that's between Moira and HISNAME; it's not about body parts and hot this and hot that, but what is felt. The reader knows the power of their love without the trash aspect and inyourfacecontinuously. More of the powers of the witch families are revealed while trying to solve the mystery. The pace is fast and the descriptions keep the reader immersed in the story. There's humor and a good dose of suspense, rather well done. There's an overview, which I appreciate knowing what a book is about before I read it. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 4*
Wicked Good Series: Destiny's A Witch #1 - I like this book better than Witch You Wouldn't Believe and Witch is When it Gets Crazy. The witches and warlocks are likable and their dialog realistic. I'm happy to see a male is called a warlock instead of witch (PC is so stupid with the sexes). Well written, clean but with sexual attraction makes this story entertaining.
Add mischievous teenage witches, nosy friends and family on top of family pressure to do the Destiny thing, while determining if a death was an accident or a murder, leaves the main characters in all types of states. Never mind if there's a second chance for them or it is Destiny, there's a lot of happenings. Pretty good story without the usual stupid drama found in a lot of this genre. 4*
Hex Me Not #2 - Another interesting book in the Wicked Good Mystery Series. The witches and warlocks are still likable, interesting and entertaining. The background storylines continue while the main mystery keeps the reader immersed in the quickly read, well thought plot. The story moves along a steady moving pace, is clean and without the usual stupid drama found in a lot of books of this genre. There's an overview, which I appreciate knowing what a book is about before I read it. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Spells and Silver Bells #3 - Another good addition to the Wicked Good Mystery series! I found this book more intriguing and suspenseful than its predecessors. The characters are interesting and likable, and the regulars steady grow along with the stories. The storylines, original and new, are interesting and intelligent. This book is a bit more substantial and took a bit longer to figure out the villains, but I did miss the main reason, which was....
There's an overview, which I appreciate knowing about a book before I read it. These books can be read out of sequence, but the storylines are build from the first book on, although all are standalones, no cliffhangers. I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 4* Wicked Good End.
Charm Cove was deep in snowfall and Persnickety Potions & Gifts was actually closed until warm weather enticed the tourists back. Liam got up to answer the knock at the door. Moira’s brother, Gabriel, had stopped by to talk to them about something odd. Maple sugaring season began in New England in the dead of winter, usually somewhere between mid-February and mid-March. For many who participated, this was important to their annual income. Gabriel said the new lines he put in were cut, and his sap-collecting buckets were gone. So were his mother’s buckets. He wondered if Liam’s were as well. Maybe this was a teenager’s prank. But by afternoon, several major maple sugaring operations had reported every single maple sap bucket was gone and the gravity lines, transporting sap into the systems to produce syrup, had been cut. Four major businesses were wiped out! This had now become a serious issue.
At first some kids had been discovered with some of the buckets. Were they responsible? How could they manage something on this large a scale, and why? Was magic involved? When buckets start showing up all over, and they find some additional clues, will Moira and the Good and Wicked families be able to find the culprit? And with their wedding date getting closer all the time, will Moira and Liam finally tie the knot that will ensure peace between the Good and the Wicked families for the next 100 years?
This is an adorable series that is fun to read! The characters of the town are getting to be old friends to the reader by now. The story lines keep improving with the various mysteries that keep occurring, keeping the reader in suspense as strange, unexplained things happen all around. Who is behind this latest crime spree and why are they doing it? Get your copy and see if you can sort out the mystery before Moira can!
I love this series. Reading onr after the other and each one is wonderful!

Charm Cove is in a bit of a pickle. It seems that all the maple trees that have been tapped to sap have had their buckets stolen and their lines snapped. At first, it is just a few buckets, but now it is almost all of them. Is this a case of kids being kids? Or is magic involved?
Moira can’t seem to keep out of the things; especially since everyone she knows has been impacted. When a few of the buckets turn up in odd places with a one letter code that needs descrambling, Moira knows it is more than just a prank by a few kids. With the help of her boyfriend and all of the Wicked/Good families, they are on a hunt to solve the mystery.
This is a cozy with lots of charm, wit, quirky characters, a bit of magic, and bunches of mystery filled madcap adventure.

Author, Lucy May, has a way of weaving multiple plots smoothly together, moving from suspense (light) to laughter of the antics of the witchy eccentric citizens of Charming Cove. You can expect anything and everthing to involve a Wicked or a Good.
Someone has been stealing maple syrup buckets and cutting the feeder lines, right at the beginning of the 6-week long maple season. Can the culprits be found before the season ends? If not some people may lose their yearly income. It only takes a little investigation to figure out magic is involved.
As usual, Moira and Liam are still being pressured about their wedding date. And the twins still want to help solve the theft.
Again, this series gets five stars for keeping me interested and entertained in a relaxing and cozy manner.

Moira and Liam are once again pulled into a mystery in their hometown full of witches and warlocks. Moira&;s brother came home and took over the house Liam lived in but Liam has already been staying with Moira so it wasn;t a big deal. He shows up one morning to let them know all his maple buckets are gone. Liam goes out to check their two and they are also gone. As the day progresses it;s discovered that everyone who had maple buckets and tubing out has been taken or destroyed. The two days later the buckets start to magically appear in shops in the town. Now Moira and Liam are on the trail of who could be doing this and why. Another fantastic story in this series which opens more info on some of the individuals in the town. Fantastic story and read.

This is a great, sweet series that I really enjoy. I guess technically, this can be read as a stand alone, but I really think this needs to be read in order. I started with book 4 but paused and decided to go back and start from the beginning before picking this one back up. It made it easier to understand the back ground of the characters.
We are getting closer to our HEA. This series is based on the same characters Moira and Liam. They are fated mates that have been putting off fulfilling the prophecy of their mating. Things are finally starting to get a bit closer in the direction.
Awesome characters, strong story line, fantastic description to detail, and entertaining dialogue. A true joy to read. A bit of mystery. The series as a whole is fantastic.
I thought the Great Maple Caper by Lucy May was a fun and quick read. I love the characters, Moira's fiance, Liam is especially cool, ok he's hot too. The way Lucy May describes the small town is amazing, she actually makes me like Winter, which I normally hate. It's also cool how the small town comes together to help the Chief solve a crime. It's filled with Witches but not all are, like the Chief, so they have to be careful when finding evidence dealing with magic, if there is any. I was actually surprised by the suspect, that doesn't happen much. It was a fun and quick read, and I'm a slow reader.

Moira Wicked finds herself in the middle of the so called Great Maple Caper - someone is stealing buckets of maple syrup, and interfering with the gravity lines that feed to the processing areas.
Big business in New England - and the season is only a few weeks long, so interruptions can be costly.
A love scorned witch is at the heart of the mystery, and poor Chief Daniel ends up with a challenge once again on how to deal with a crime he cannot fully disclose in mortal courts. Very sticky!
More family connections and romance developments - mostly sweet
Destiny abounds along with mayhem in Charm Cove Maine!
I received an advance copy of this book from Booksprout. I enjoyed reading this book on Kindle Unlimited and was happy to give my honest review.
I have loved this series from book one and count the months till the next release but you never know if that next book is going to be just as good as the last but I can honestly say I have yet to be disappointed and I'm still not. These books are full of Witches, mystery and a sweet romance. The mysteries are not easily figured out and the story is entertaining throughout the whole book. If you are looking for a good paranormal Cozy mystery with a little romance this is a great series for you. Each book can be read as a standalone but reading from book one does help get to know the characters better. Happy Reading!!

I was having so much fun reading this book that I slowed down reading so I could enjoy it even more. I read it in a day. Quick easy to read, clean and fun.
I admit that I could not figure who done it. I followed the rabbit trails and tried to create a theory but could not get there. Had to keep reading to the end to find out.
Great addition to series. Book can be rad as a stand alone, but you might want to go back and read the previous books for fun and the little details that you might have missed.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
If you like cozy mysteries you will love this one … Maple sap being stolen and production being brought to a sticky end with vandalism that no one can figure out who / why/ when. If magic is involved then bringing the culprit to justice is made even harder So many suspects, so much sap lost so many things unexplained till right at the end Brilliant It will keep you guessing and reading from start to finish

I had never read any other books in the series, but I was able to pick up and read this one without any issues or questions about what happened prior. The story is cute and well written. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. I highly recommend this book and I’m going to be reading the rest of the series now.

Someone is Sabotaging the Maple Sap Harvest In this episode, someone is messing with the maple sap harvest. The Wickeds and the Goods work together on solving the crimes. The plot of this cozy mystery is very well done. The family drama is mixed with the magical drama and it all turns out in the end. This is such a fun series, I hate to see the end of each book. I received this ARC book for free and this is my honest review.
This is one of my favorite series. This book, like the others, didn’t disappoint. Having been to Costal Maine, I wish that there really was a Charm Cove to visit. The characters are likable however, I feel bad for the Chief of Police. The witches don’t try to undermine him but they do. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I was really feeling deprived of the Wicked Good cast and here they are back with a bang.
Bowing down to pressure Moira & Liam are finally planning their wedding, in between family interference, stolen moments & wedding planning they are also busy solving the case of the missing maple syrup.
Another shot of fun, wit and Magic from Lucy May.
I Loved It and I want some more.

Crazy things are happening in Charm Cove and to top it off it's maple sugaring season. This is book four of the Wicked Good Mystery and in this book someone is taking maple sap and cutting the lines and Moira is on the case. This is a well written book with likable characters, drama, suspense, humor, magic and a mystery that kept me turning the pages. I am looking forward to the next episode of Wicked Good Mystery. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This author needs someone to read the books before they are released. In this book it states that girl had not been caught just popping in anywhere before Tom caught here in the barn but in the previous book she was caught in one of the bad guys house. Also the marriage spell cast by the witches many was that a Good and a Wicked had to marry in each generation not every 100 years.
Another delightful wicked good mystery and they keep getting better and better. I love charm cove and especially Moira as she reminds me of myself because no matter what we do we always end up in the middle of whatever is going on and it is so much fun.

Delightful Magical Mystery! This is the first book I’ve read from the Wicked Good Mystery series and I loved it. The warm characters are charming, eccentric, witty and fun to read. An intriguing mystery with several twists and an HEA. It’s extremely enjoyable and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Enjoy!

Join Moira, Liam and her family as they investigate someone sabotaging the maple syrup bussinesses in town and see how they handle the pressure over not setting a date for their wedding after only being engaged 3 months.
