Dr. William Moulton Marston (May 9, 1893 – May 2, 1947), also known by the pen names Charles Moulton and William Marston, was an American psychologist, feminist theorist, inventor, and comic book writer who created the character Wonder Woman. Two women, his wife Elizabeth Holloway Marston and Olive Byrne (who lived with the couple in a polyamorous relationship), served as exemplars for the character and greatly influenced her creation.

He was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.

So, the adventures of the precusors to Luke Skywalker and The Jedi Order - Wonder Woman and The Amazons, in case you guessed it - continue with a bang! Awesome, totally in love with the original version of the character. Loved it even when it went totally bonkers and nonsensical (according to the writer's own ideas) in the Comics Cavalcade #8 story about WW becoming a succubus to Steve Trevor's "toxic masculinity". Harry G. Peter keeps getting better and better the more he draws, and more topics are explored in subtle and not subtle ways such as parental role, history of humankind through feminist eyes, cross-dressing and even an early suggestion at a plot device that will prove fundational in the whole DC Multiverse several years in the future, when "Flash of the Two Worlds" by Gardner Fox will hit the comic shelves. And, as the final cherry on the cake, more optimist and heartfelt characterization that will be welcomed by those, as myself, who are sick to death of the "realistic", "dark and gritty" and "pessimist" 80's as well as today's tropes in superhero comics.
Highly Recommended.
I just hope another Golden Age WW TP will come soon...
Edit: don't even try reading this without firstly read Marston's two psychological books, otherwise you're not going to get NOTHING of what he's really writing. Including the distinction between real sexual innuendos and things that have nothing to do with sex in the slightest. It's a difference between Day and night, like the previous TPs.

After finishing Wonder Woman: Earth One, Vol. 1 I needed something to wash the bad taste out of my mouth. Also, I totally forgot I even had this. Back to the good ol' days when our heroine actually did something. Wonder Woman is constantly getting bound, blindfolded, hand fed and even electrocuted. All the kinky stuff is there. Surprisingly, what isn't there is World War II. There are a few mentions of war bonds but other than that you wouldn't know anything was going on. Wonder Woman must now seek her foes out in Atlantis, Saturn, and the fourth dimension.
