Value that the Pocahontas saving Smith's life event was addressed as being false.

"Even though many historians consider Smith a hero, many think he was conceited and allowed bragging to get in the way of describing historical events accurately."

Very quick book, but with a lot of good information. Having read some of John Smith's actual travel writing this book was nifty for filling in life details that aren't included in his travel narratives. Definitely worth a read
