Rate this book

Escape to Wildflower Park with Part Four of a brand new four-part serial from bestselling author Bella Osborne.

Life’s not always a walk in the park…

When Anna is dumped by her fiancé, she moves in to her own place on the edge of the gorgeous Wildflower Park and pledges to stay off men and focus on her career, but a handsome new colleague seems to thwart her attempts at every turn. And when she receives an accidental text from a mystery man, could it be the new start she needs? Or someone she really shouldn't be falling for?

Anna’s neighbour Sophie is a stressed-out mum-of-two with a third on the way. Her husband is a constant frustration, and their children are a regular source of newly-invented swear words and unidentifiable sticky surfaces.

Luckily, Anna and Sophie have each other – and Wildflower Park proves to be a sanctuary as they map out a path to find the happiness they both deserve…

Fantastically funny, this irresistibly heart-warming novel will charm fans of Milly Johnson and Jill Mansell.

This is the final novella in the series and boy was it a good'un! It was jam-packed full of drama and excitement and I read it in only a few hours as I couldn't put it down. The cover, once again, is absolutely beautiful and it's lovely to see the park in all it's glory with blossomed flowers and the row of colourful houses along the back. I adore the pond with the little ducklings swimming in it. It just gives the story a really nice feel to it and for me at least, it completely sucked me in.

I felt that the story, unlike the others in the series, took a bit of a darker and more serious turn compared to the first three. However, it was this that kept me hanging on to every word and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. Even though the story beforehand was building up to this last part of the novel, I still couldn't have told you what was going to happen. I was shocked when the truth came to light and couldn't believe what was happening! It was great to read.

I felt we learnt a bit more about Anna in this particular novella as well. She finally learned to tell Hudson why she doesn't drink and why she's afraid of heights and flying and subsequently, I feel it brought the two of them together and made them realise how they truly felt for each other. It was nice to get some alone time with just them, and to read about their relationship growing. It was obvious they both liked one another, but with both of them battling their own demons, it took them longer to finally admit to their feelings.

I also enjoyed that we had some time away from Wildflower Park and went to New York with Anna and Hudson, it was refreshing and brought a new feeling to the novel. However, we do also still get to read about Sophie back at home with her new baby, and I really enjoyed this too. It was so lovely reading about Sophie and Dave and their family and I was so pleased with the ending.

Overall, I would throughly recommend you give this series a read. It's entertaining, light hearted as well as easy and enjoyable to read, you won't regret it! Thank you to the publisher for a chance to read this novel via Netgalley, which I have reviewed honestly.

Final book of the "wildflower park" series by Bella Osborne! I have really enjoyed the entire series but the part is definitely the best part! I am giving it a 5 stars out of 5! It's excellent! The suspense is incredible, and there is so much events going on this last part! This series is a brilliant one! I recommend it to you!

This was simply fantastic the best part in the series by far. Bella has written this so well with so many twists and turns and really didn't want it to end as so brilliant. Full of romance and heartbreak and friendship and so heartwarming.
Sophie is with Anna and she goes in to labour so Anna looks after her children. She's trying to get out of going to America for work with Hudson and she runs out of excuses. She's frightened of flying but for a good reason but Hudson supports her and she gets through it. Once in America he shows her the sights and she can see herself falling more for Hudson but she gets a phone call saying her parents ave been in a bad accident and she rushes home and supports them. She's at a party and Conner the bloke who has been texting goes with her but is he all that he believes he is and should she trust him will someone save her in time. Also with her old boyfriend trying to put others off who will she choose and will it be the right decision to be happy.
So well written and loved it.

Fantastic climax to the series. Great twists and turns and the ending is worth waiting for. A well written story that given little away in terms of plot until you are submerged in the action. Thoroughly enjoyed the book and the series as a whole.

Thank you NetGalley.

The story takes a darker turn as the final part of the series progresses. Even though like me you may have suspected this development, the clues are there, the final events are suspenseful, and menacing and give this story another unexpected dimension. adding depth and interest.

Anna’s character develops further as the actions of others and changes in her career make her face her demons. I love this character and it’s good to see her discovering her true self. Sophie’s story is also resolved in a satisfying way, and she provides her share of angst and laughter in this final part.

Romance isn’t neglected, Anna finally realises where her heart lies but she faces significant conflict before she finds her true soulmate and her happy-ever-after.

This is a lovely, contemporary story about family, friends and career, with romance, humour and mystery, a very enjoyable read.

I received a copy of this book from Avon Books UK via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

This was a wonderful conclusion to the series- catching up with long lost friends and seeing where the story takes them. I have loved the journey along with the characters and as with any great book it's sad to see them go!

This is part 4 (and the final part) of the serialisation of Wildflower Park. These 4 parts do need to be read in order, but if you prefer to read them as all one book this will be released later in the year. I have read the other 3 parts already and they have all been fabulous little books in their own right, with each one ending with a cliff-hanger all ready for the next book. I couldn’t wait to get this book to read as I’ve really enjoyed this series and I just needed to find out how it was all going to end! I’ve also enjoyed seeing the different book covers for this series. The covers are truly beautiful and are worthy of hanging up on anyone’s wall!

So, quick recap without any spoilers! This is going to be tricky but here goes….we’ve met Anna. She has just been dumped by her boyfriend Liam, and has moved into her own place on the edge of Wildflower Park near her best friend and work colleague, Sophie. Sophie is expecting her third child and has been driving her husband crazy with her fluctuating hormones! Anna vows to concentrate on work after her breakup, especially when a new member is introduced to the team and she is also definitely staying away from men! When she receives an accidental text message from a mystery man and then meets the new American guy at work, can she stick to her vows?!

I’ve loved reading this series and am genuinely disappointed that we’ve come to the end! The story grabbed me at the beginning and kept my interest all the way through to the end of this book. This final instalment rounds everything up perfectly and explains so many things which have happened throughout the other books – I have been curious as to why Anna doesn’t drink and why she doesn’t like to fly! I’ve loved all the different characters with my favourite character changing from book to book!! Until this book, I wasn’t really sure of Hudson’s character (despite being the hottest thing this side of the Atlantic!), but he really comes into his own and I love how things end up. Still one of the funniest characters throughout the whole series, Sophie has made me laugh so much with her own version of swear words, which never quite work out right! My favourite all time characters though have to be Bert and his cat Maurice, who Anna is looking after. Bert is such a lovely character and I love his relationship with Anna. His love for his big old cat Maurice is particularly heart-warming and I have to admit it did bring a tear to my eye when Anna took Maurice in to visit him. Being a cat owner myself, I think Maurice is absolutely adorable and think his underpants stealing antics were hilarious!

This book, and the whole series was a joy to read! There were an unexpected twist towards the end, which I really didn’t see coming and I thought this book rounded off the series perfectly. I love this author’s writing and have loved the other series that have been written and this one was no exception. The only thing I didn’t like about is that, yet again, another great series has come to an end and I shall have to wait for the next one!! Loved loved loved it!! Highly recommended!

Thank you to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for giving me this review copy to read.

They do say save the best for last and that's certainly the case with part four of Bella Osborne's Wildflower Park: Rooting for You. The first three parts to this book were nice enough reads but honestly I didn't think anything truly exciting happened to make me truly care about the characters and the eventual outcome for them but that all changed when I read the final instalment. Finally we got a bit of action and all the little strands of the story began to weave together and make sense. Without doubt this was the best part of the book simply because there was no more hovering around issues and not coming out with things that desperately needed to be said. Now was the time to confront everything that had been kept deeply hidden for so long. With this time of realisation there were lots of surprises and shocks thrown in which didn't feel contrived at all. It all added to the overall excitement and drama which culminated in a deeply satisfying conclusion to Anna's story.

When we last left Anna and Sophie things were taking a very dramatic turn but thankfully everything works out OK and the tension that has existed between Sophie and her husband is resolved in the most cutest of ways. Sophie then takes more of a back seat in this part of the book and I was glad because I really felt there wasn't much more that could be done with her character and as I have previously mentioned she was wasn't my favourite due to the amount of moaning she did. I knew how unhappy she was, and the various reasons why, but I just couldn't warm to her. Now the focus shifts more to Anna, she conquers one of her fears and flies to New York with her work colleague Hudson. He eases her through the flight and makes her time in the Big Apple magical whilst they also get some work done. When it is revealed why Anna hates flying and has a huge fear of heights everything really made sense and I felt a much deeper affection and connection to her.

I guessed fairly early on in this book that something, or maybe even more than one thing, in the past had affected how she lives her life now and that unless she could confront and overcome these issues then she was very much stuck in a stalemate situation with no moving forward only constantly regressing backwards. A lovely bond begins to develop between the Anna and Hudson but Anna's fears of commitment and whether a man really wants her begin to rear their ugly head once more. At this point I really did wish she would just open up and confess everything because by continuing to harbour secrets, insecurities and worries they will only eat you up and she would never find the peace, love and acceptance she so clearly needed. There was someone waiting to embrace her with open arms but as she has more than one option and her feelings and past events are holding her back I wondered would she ever open her eyes to what was right before her?

It really did feel like part four was a completely different story to the previous three sections as there was a very surprising turn of events which really made me sit up and pay attention. It was edge of your seat stuff and I was kicking myself that although I had my doubts about a certain someone I never ventured any further with my suspicions. The clues were all there to see but it is only as Anna opens up and explains what went on in the past that the events of the present made perfect sense. Things got a bit sinister and scary to be honest and I wondered would Anna be able to come out of things on the other side stronger or would this shatter her already fragile state even further? I was eagerly turning the pages keen to discover how things would turn out to see would Anna get the happy ending she deserved if at all? If she did then who would it be with or would the ending be a total revelation and surprise? One thing is for certain my opinion of Anna definitely changed when I was reading Rooting for You and because part four was a much better read than what had gone before I would have no hesitation in recommending Wildflower Park. It's a good read perfect for the long sunny, Summer days which stretch out before us.

Thank you to Netgalley and Avon/Harper Collins Publishing UK for giving me a copy of this book in return for a review.

I think I should have read the title more closely before asking to review the book. I missed the "Part Four" in the title.

So imagine my surprise when I opened my eBook and discovered I was already on chapter 31 of the book. I kept swiping right and left, thinking that perhaps my eReader wasn't working right and had missed the earlier chapters. Then I thought that perhaps something had gone wrong in the digital compilation process, and I only received part of the book.

I finally realized that this was the final in a four part series. I figured "oh well, there will be a prologue or some recaps during the story to help me follow it."

Unfortunately, there weren't, so I was lost throughout much of the story. I stumbled through it, trying to figure out what the past history was between the characters. It put me at a disadvantage, because I wasn't really able to get into the heroine's story, or empathize with her phobia for flying and high places. Or the timid way she approached some things.

I will say it is a good story, and the characters are interesting. I like the trip she took to New York City, and the way the author made me feel a bit like I was in NYC too.

But I feel like there needs to be a bit more backstory in this book to help the reader better understand the heroine and the other characters. Even if I had read the earlier three books, I would probably want some background. I read a lot and probably would have forgotten parts of Anna (the heroine's) trials and tribulations in the earlier books. So it would have helped me connect better with her.

I think I'll go back and read the other three parts. I like the author's writing style and I do love the cover of the book, which is what drew me to the book.

Loved the book and I'm sad to see the series end. I'm going to miss Anna, Sophie and the underpants stealing Maurice. I wish there was more about Lynsey and Esme, especially Lynsey. I feel like she was just casually mentioned and especially how she died. I now know why Anna has a fear of flying and heights. With all that happened in this book, I wish it was longer. My favorite part was when Maurice and Bert were reunited. Sophie being pushed in the wheelbarrow, while about to give birth was quite the scene. It would have been a great story. I was afraid for what Sophie and Dave were going to name their new baby. The ending was scary and creepy. There are definitely some crazy pants people out there. I wasn't expecting that to happen, although I never trusted that person. He/She always seemed like they were hiding something and weren't being truthful.

I loved the characters, story and writing style. I always wish the books were longer. There were a few twists, that I wasn't expecting. Finding out who Hudson's former fiancée, Emily, had married
was very interesting (and by interesting, I mean wrong on so many levels).

I definitely recommend the book and the previous three. It was a fun and quick read, with some memorable characters. I loved the cover of the book. I can't wait to read more books by the author.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Avon Books UK through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I have finally finished this rollercoaster of a read and what an ending it was. It didn’t take me long at all to catch up with Anna, Sophie, Dave, Hudson and the rest of the gang. I finished the final part of the story in two days.

In the final part of this story we get to understand more of Anna’s backstory and in the end we know exactly why she is the way she is. We read about Sophie giving birth finally (but does she have a boy or girl? and it’s quite amusing how her birth happens!) It really is great to see how Anna’s feelings change towards Hudson, there’s a whole side storyline to this so please read ‘Wildflower Park’ to find out more!

Even though this part of the book isn’t very long I found myself going from laughing out loud to then cursing certain characters. I was sitting there talking to the book as if it could hear me 😂 but it’s great how a story has that effect on you! My favourite relationship of the book has to be between Anna and Bert, as I’ve said in previous reviews of this book this just shows Anna’s integrity as a person and it was refreshing to read about. I was certainly not expecting the huge plot twist - I’m not going to spoil it but I urge you to read it for yourself.

‘Wildflower Park’ is about friendship, love and realising just what life is really about. I am very much looking forward to reading this as one whole book when published in June. I give ‘Wildflower Park’ as a whole 5*/5* 😊

Thank you to Avon Books UK and Bella Osborne for an advanced copy of this book via Netgalley.

Book 4 of a 4 part book series. Note to readers, you can either read this as a 4 part book series like I’m going to or there is a full length novel which includes all of the 4 parts should you prefer to read it in that format.

So that was the last part to the series and boy what ending it was, there was so much going on, even a surprise element near the end that I was so not expecting, so that sure added an interesting twist to the story.

Suffice to say I have really enjoyed reading this series, loved all the characters, well almost all of them and loved how things ended for the main characters of Anna and Sophie. I’m actually sorry that this has ended as not real ready to say bye bye, but all good things must come to an end as they say.

Finally, if you like these sort of books, then I can highly recommend author Bella Osborne books, you’ll not be disappointed.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. And now the final part. Parts 1-3 were fun easy reads but part 4 got to me. The previous parts have had an undercurrent that we have been eagerly awaiting the reveal of. Well, Part 4 definitely gave us that and so much more.

Here we finally find out what happened to Anna at university and why she doesn't drink. Anna really opens up to Hudson in this story. We really got to learn who Anna is and how she got there.

I also absolutely loved the trip to New York. It's one place I am dying to go! Anna and Hudson pick the perfect time to go, with the Thanksgiving parade and the start of the Christmas period!

This book is so much more than just a romance novel, it has a dark side too. I loved this series and I can't wait to catch up on more of Bella's work in the new year.

Wildflower park part four is the final part to this easy reading series and what a cracking final part it is!
It’s really nice to catch up with Anna and Sophie again, these are two very likeable characters that I shall now miss ☹️. We follow Anna’s life with her trio of men and find out if she gets over her fear of flying to jet off to America with the adorable Hudson. Anna has her baby and we find out if Dave steps up to the mark or not and it was nice to hear about Maurice as he is a comical cat that has played a good part.
I really good series.

Starting this second half of the book with prior notions, I was taken by surprise and realised I was not only chuckling with a lot of scenes, there were unexpected twists as well!. Anna gets her life back together as well as epiphanies about what she wants from it. Her meetings with Bert made her all the more endearing. Sophie and Dave get a little sensible about how relationships work and Hudson is always rushing to the rescue. Connor and Liam (also Anna's entourage) did make interesting appearances. Now, these four separate bite-sized pieces of the book are being published as a complete book and I would recommend it based on the second half alone!
This fourth part rounds up the whole story in a very effective manner and makes the entire reading experience worth it.

I love the fact Bella Osborne’s books are released in parts as it’s like returning to an old friend. Part four of Wildflower Park begins in a dramatic way as we’re back with all our favourite characters. There’s transatlantic travel, cats stealing underpants and Anna must finally decide which man is for her. A fabulous read that I can highly recommend. Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books and the author for the chance to review.

A very satisfying conclusion wraps up this wonder Bella Osbourne series. A regular novel divided into 4 parts you must read the previous 3 books stories first. This was a great finish for Anna and Sophie's stories. A bit of a shocker concerning one of the men in Anna's life. Definitely recommend the 4 book series. I think I liked this book while I was reading it. In honesty, it obviously hasn't stuck in my head as I was frowning trying to remember the plot. But that's OK. It served the purpose of allowing me to escape into someone else's world for a while and that's why I read this type of book.
