The only choice she had in the middle of this dark, terrifying night was to trust the man determined to be her knight in shining armor. No one had ever wanted to be her rescuer.
Jodie Bailey knows how to blend romance and suspense while keeping you running for your life, looking over your shoulder, and wondering how in the world you’ll get away from the bad guys! Having brought to light a sex trafficking ring three years ago, Amy Brady was under Witness Protection when her handling agent was killed. In steps US Marshall Sam Maldonado eager to get her to a safe place, but things go south before he can do that! Going dark and without help ramps up the danger! Everywhere they go, the killer is one step ahead of them and hot on their trail. Will they escape with their lives? This was a huge guessing game for me because I had no idea who was behind the attacks on Amy. When it was revealed at the end, I was shocked! Love when an author keeps you in suspense (pun intended) the whole book. Though you certainly don't have to, I would suggest reading “Mistaken Twin” to get a deeper connection to twin sisters Amy & Jenna.
What I didn't like? That it had to end! Then again, I don't think my heart could have taken any more adrenaline rushes. Inspirational romantic suspense fans will eat this up!

Sam Maldonado is the deputy marshal tasked with keeping Amy safe and he is determined to do just that. He never wants to lose someone in his care again. But are his feelings safe?
Jodie Bailey hits the ground running and the action continues until the very ending. I finished this book in less than 24 hours! The suspense is great, the characters well fleshed out and the spiritual theme so worthy. We all deal with fear from time to time, but we must trust God to not let it overwhelm us. Bravo!

Jodie consistently writes some of the best Love Inspired Suspense stories. She is my #1 must read LIS author. This book was super good! The villain completely took me by surprise(although I had a nugget of a thought at one point in the book, if I'd pursued it...) and with as many mystery/suspense books as I read that is HARD to do! This story has lots of action, heart pounding moments, twists and turns to keep you guessing and great characters to boot. That makes this an LIS book not to be missed! I need another LIS Jodie Bailey book stat!

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hidden Twin. I really like Jodie's work. She does a great job on suspense and intrigues. I'm thrilled to get her books in the mail. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Amy Brady was put into Witness protection years ago. She ran once to help a friend but had been returned by one of the marshals. When she left the college she noticed seventeen missed calls on her phone from an unknown number. Either something is really right and she is free or something is really wrong and they have found her. She calls her emergency number only to get the other marshal not her handler. He tells her to go to her office and lock the door. He is on his way to get her, something is really wrong. Against his orders she walks to her car only to see her handler's car but he doesn't get out to meet her. A red tint cover the glass of the windshield. A man walks up to her with a gun pointing at her heart. He tells her to come with him or he will start shooting the students in the next row of cars.
Deputy US Marshal Samuel Maldonado is a retrieval specialist. He was sent to find Amy and bring her back several months ago. He has stayed close to Amy and her handler ever since. He arrives at the parking lot only to see her being taken to a car in the parking lot. He rescues her and they must break a few rules and go off the grid to keep her safe.
A journey of overcoming their fear issues and trusting God and each other to find the way out of the terror. God has a plan for these two a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. No matter how bad things are, God can turn it all around if you give Him your heart. He is a good God!

Full of heart-stopping twists and turns, who the ultimate big bad eventually turned out to be was surprising in a very satisfying 'of course!' way. I also LOVED how Jodie tied this book in with Mistaken Twin (even the slightest hint of a mention of Wyatt or Jenna and I was a squealing mess, topped only by my reaction when I discovered the awesome way she connected Rich to the heroes of both books; now I REALLY need to read about how he gets a second chance at true love!!) I thoroughly enjoyed the glimpses we got of Dana and Isaac's characters as well, and am hoping they get a book of their own soon too!!

The companion volume to Mistaken Twin, which I reviewed before, this completes the story of twin sisters, who have been separated for their own protection and even think the other dead. This novel shares Amy’s life as she tries to elude the deadly criminals who want to eliminate her. Witness protection has not kept her safe, so she and her handler must run in order to try to survive. An exciting suspenseful tale. It is better to read the books in order, but this one also stands on its own too. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.

Review of Hidden Twin by Jodie Bailey Amy is already in witness protection. She is found and on the run. She isn't safe for long. God protects her and Sam who is a US Marshall. No one can figure out how she is being tracked. Read to find out. There is a lot to learn about forgiving yourself for things beyond your control. Amy has a twin sister she hadn't seen in a long time. Things Amy never knew are revealed. Jodie's books Keep you on edge. Read them all.

"Hidden Twin" was a great book! Bailey does a great job of grabbing the reader's attention from the beginning and holding it to the end. The suspense was great, and the book was hard to put down. I would highly recommend this book!

Pretty good suspense! Started out with tons of action of which I like then settled down for a bit then kicked in again. I thought Mistaken Twin was much better but this one was not far behind.

Sequel to Mistaken Twin author Jodie Bailey continues the story of the separated twins. Equally if not more suspenseful this novel will keep you wanting to read more!!!

Talk about a great book. Jodie gives you a view in WITSEC its not a easy life for the person. In this story we meet the twin Amy Brady who was mentioned in the 1st story Mistaken Twin were we met her twin Gwenivere. In this story we meet Marshall Sam Maldonado and his team. There is alot of action and suspense in this story that keeps you turning the page. There is the mystery as to who is after Amy. Its a real surprise as to who it is. I'm hoping Jodie does a story on each of Sam's team member. In the brief meeting of them they sound so fascinating. Its a well done story that will have you on the edge of your seat as things happen. Thanks Jodie it was a great. Looking forward to your next book. J
