I thought this book was going to discuss the authors struggle with depression and child bearing in more detail than was featured. Some things were constantly repeated.
The beginning of the book was hard for me to get into, but after pushing myself to read it it turned out to be an incredible book. One of my major takeaways from the book was in Chapter 9 when she was talking about the man laying by the pool for 38 years and Jesus asked him "Does he want to made whole?". That was a major turn in the book for me although it was at the end. I must say the book was extremely repetitive and the ending Chapters seemed long and rushed just to repeat what was said in previous Chapters. Overall, a good book!
This book was so good, I was learning a lot and the book just disappeared. I found out later the mister moved it and put it in my bag when we were about to go on vacation. Before I learned what happened, I thought....well never mind. God gets the glory!
This was an amazing read, very much on time as well. It’s was everything I needed at the time of reading it.i was able to take so much away from this book and apply it to my life that helped me through a ruff time I was going through.
