4 stars. This has to be my favourite of the four Close Contact books and one I would love to see expanded. This was certainly a hot and steamy read and I certainly won't look at an lift ( sorry elevator for us not in the UK) in the same way again, how come the only repair guys I've ever seen have never looked this hot 😁. If you like your books very short and extra hot have to recommend this one.
I enjoyed this story! It's a quick story that gets to the down and dirty part quickly. It was a nice, short story that didn't need the complexity of a longer one. It was set up well for it to be enjoyed this way. The story is explicit and the sex definitely takes up a lot of the story but it fits. I liked the characters and was intrigued by them. I was good with the story being as short as it was but it would be fun to see more of the characters as well. I thought that it was really done to have that feeling. I enjoyed spending about 20 minutes reading this. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I’ll never look at elevators the same way, ever again❣️
Laurel is an officer and after completing a job that she is sure will haunt her forever, she realises her partner hasn’t done his job. In an attempt to cover his mistake, she goes back to the witness to get a signature from him. She noticed him earlier and tried not to deal with his sexy mug by letting her partner do so. Nash noticed the sultry policewoman earlier and when she makes another appearance that night, he’s keen to get her hot and sweaty❣️
Thank you to Megan for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review.
Fixing the mistakes of others can lead to more than one expects...
Dedication and diligence to her police work leave Laurel fixing up the mistakes of her lazy partner. Going back to gain a witness signature brings about some pretty intense moments. When the elevator stops between floors and panic sets in... only the contractor on site can help. It’s help that Nash is only too willing to deliver and comes about in a most sensuous and passionate way.
A beautiful read and momentary encounter than could lead to so much more...
Elevation, like the other quick stories in this series, will suck you in from the first word and leave you craving more. Things get a little overheated in the elevator and I for one would have loved to read more between these two characters. With just the right amount of spice, Elevation will hit all the right spots
Anybody else hearing an "Aerosmith" song?!? This was my most favorite story in this series. There was just something about Laurel and Nash that screamed "sexy!". Loved it!
*I received a free copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*

Strong female police officer and a construction worker make the most of a stopped elevator! Short, sweet, and sexy story that leaves you craving more from these characters! Loved it!
Another sizzling read in the short story collection. This book is about a police officer trapped in an elevator and the hot handy-man who comes to her rescue. Short, sweet and off the charts hot. Great ending!
Elevation is the fourth standalone short story in the Close Contact series.
