Raj's sister has been MIA for a long time - but she's about to come back with a bang! Ardat Lili is the hottest succubus you've seen this side of an inter-dimensional portal to Hell - so much so that four dragons and a werewolf are more than willing to offer themselves up to her rather voracious appetite. Lili is a badass and she ain't afraid to show it - you know you want to see her wrangle five headstrong men without breaking a sweat! Metaphorically speaking, of course. There's gonna be plenty of sweating. If you catch my drift. ;)

My visions have become so strange lately. There's always been fire and pain. But never torture like this - gorgeous men, just begging to be eaten. Tantalus' curse.
All I wanted to do was sleep, to forget, to dream. But how can I sleep when all my dreams end in flames?! Except.. just once, there was something else. Someone else. A goddess. She was screaming.
New guard today. They were explaining his role, but I don't think he was listening. The poor boy was so yummy... I wonder if he'll mind being my next meal?
I didn't want this stupid promotion, but I have to admit it's already come with some... interesting... perks. My last gig definitely didn't feature gorgeous women writhing in mid air. Too bad she didn't seem to be enjoying it.
They think they've broken me, that I've stopped resisting. They're wrong. I'm just waiting. Watching. Biding my time. The pain only fuels my rage, makes me stronger. I don't need anyone to save me. I don't need anyone.
I don't know what's happening to me - not all of it at least. But I'm man enough to admit when I need help, and that's why I'm here, in Lupine Bay. Let's just hope all these visions of fire aren't a bad omen...
I have a new cellmate. Literally unprecedented. His aura smells delicious, and I bet he would taste even better.
Bah, I'm an idiot. Running into the woods after this chica loca who won't stay outta my head. Now I'm in a maldito prison, in the bowels of god knows where. Ay ay ay, that ol' lobo'll never let me live this one down.
I wonder if anyone will come for him. No one came for me.
I chase crazy dragon into the forest. Is he there? Nyet. I go to town. Is he there? NYET. Now here I am, chasing his worthless tail into Hell. I should just let him die. But then I'd die. Hmm... decisions.
Maribel Fox is the brainchild of a two-woman writing team from Southeastern Washington. After meeting via the publishing industry and eventually becoming roommates, they realized how complimentary their strengths were and lo this project was born.
Lupine Bay is inspired by those "small town" romance series that make the town as much of a character as the protagonists. Even if a 'Lupine Bay' book doesn't have a direct sequel, its characters are sure to keep popping up. The town is meant to be a faerie-tale-esque escape that is guaranteed to lighten your spirits!
I was actually kinda worried since I'm just starting now to read this RH books, but Maribel's writing is so nice to read and so easy you get caught on the story and can't let go until you finished it!
I actually started up from this book, but I'm already on my way to read the first one to know about Ava and her man, but Lili and her guys! Wow what a chemestry! Really, the "why choose" there in the title is really a great thing, because I for one wouldn't be able to choose!
With nice and smooth writing, witty humor (just how I like it), we just get caught up and now I really need to read the first one and then wait for the next! Which I hope comes soon because after all this, I really need me some more!
From just what I read in this book I really recommend Maribel's books! Hope to have lot's of her books of Lupine Bay and whatever her beautiful mind can come up with in my Kindle and in my bookshelves in the years to come!
In the first book of the series, we followed Ava and her guys, including Raj. Raj had been looking for his sister, Lili, for a very very long time. In book two, men once again descend on Lupine Bay where they meet and discover they have been dreaming of a woman. Each goes their own way for a bit, but eventually everyone is drawn together in an effort to help their mate. While Ava and co do play a part in book two, the focus is mainly on a group of newcomers. The world is the same as book one, with the exception of the time spent in Hell. About half of the book at least sends us through Hell, while the rest is spent in Lupine Bay. The characters from this book are quite interesting. This one has dragons and other more unique individuals. I really do love when an author uses a lesser known species in their stories. It's a welcome break from the vamp/shifter monotony. The editing is very well done. I didn't notice any errors in this book. The flow was nice as well. Overall I would recommend this book.
Sorry no spoilers of any kind included. This book kept my attention and wouldn’t release me until I had gotten to the end of the story, so I have to say it’s a awesome book. And I’m going to leave it at that because if I say anymore I’ll be giving away spoilers and I unlike other people don’t like giving away the surprises that’s hidden inside of a book. I so look forward to the next book in this series because I have to know what happens next. So yes I most definitely do recommend this book because I thought it was awesome.
Second book in the Lupine Bay series follows new characters with cameos from the characters we love from Heaven Sent. The story began a little slow for me while introducing the cast of characters, however, it quickly picked up speed. The multiple POVs of the characters were great to get different perspectives and additional information. Lili was engaging, strong, and was a take charge kind of girl. I loved the succubus story line and the dragons, wolf, and other creatures. Wonderfully written, fast-paced, and well developed. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one!
Attention, little spoiler! I was very happy that I was able to « check » on Ava and her men. And happy to see that Lupin Bay is doing alright. But most of all I was simple charmed by Lili and our hot 5 additions. Lili is such a strong woman.. demon.. or more exactly hybrid. Even century of tortures can’t broke her. And she get herself 5 real hunks, even if all of them were lost, searching themselves and unsure of theirs values, they find peace and love.
I loved this second installment of Lupine Bay. There is so much story and keeps you wanting more. I liked Lilli's character. She is a succubus but not cocky or self assured all the time. She has her moments of insecurity. The guys are all different and are fighting their own battles within themselves. She brings everyone together. I enjoyed getting to hear from the originals of Lupine Bay. Especially Ian. He is so much fun with his animals. I'm looking forward to the next book impatiently.
Not only is there a great dynamic between Lili and her men but there is a special dynamic between the men especially Ocho and Izzy.
The imagery is beautiful; the world is built around you that's it hard not to see what is happening. The description of the kumiho is exquisite and leaves no room for guessing.
I also like the multiple POV was able to show what was happening both Hell side and Earth side.
Loved the book. There is beyond so much going on. Lili is an amazing and totally wicked female. She may have been imprisoned and tortured but she never stopped trying to escape or get her revenge. Now her five men. They are all so different but have one thing in common and that is the call to a beautiful woman. I loved how she and the men each learned and grew in such a short time. I hope they make an appearance in the next book.
A few SPOILERS A dragon call will pull them all but how will they rescue her!!
Lili is a succubus well apparently half according to the man that stabbed her in the back then kidnapped and trapped her. For a century Lili has been trapped, starved and experimented on but will a new prisoner next to her be able to help rescue her.
If they escape what will she do will revenge come first or could a new life call to her? And how will she get this damn collar off!!

I loved this book. This continuation of Lupine Bay will make you laugh and cry. I cannot wait to see what will happen next. You will be on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The mystery of where the protagonist goes will make you wonder if there will be more mystery down the road.
This is the second book in the Lupine Bay series and kinda picks up where the second book ends but it is now focusing on Lili, Raj's sister. Just like the first book this is a why choose/reverse harem story. The dynamic between Lili and her guys is great and I love how the guys help each other through things. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
When starting this book I wasn’t sure on what to expect. I absolutely loved the first one and was intrigued on how the next book was going to continue the story with focusing on other characters. Let me just say she did a marvelous job. This book held me captive hook line and sinker just like book one. Do yourself a favor and jump on this book NOW!!
I really enjoyed this story and as my first read from the authors, I am blown away by the details she has put on its world building and character development. Mostly told in multiple POV which is my fave, the FMC and her men felt relatable to me. An entertaining, well written story, I'm definitely looking forward to book 3.
I received an ARC and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review.
At first the book was a little confusing because it was all these characters we don't know and then bam they are thrown together. I think if we started with lili and then ventured to the guys I'd be happier but after a while the story followed naturally and i enjoyed it.
I love lili. She speaks to me. She seems to have the Sam personality as me. I love how this book extends off the first one to introduce you to new people while still getting to see the characters in the first book.
I couldn't connect with Lili at all. She was headstrong, but in a stupid immature way. Since she was a succubus or was more sex than anything. Didn't feel an actual connection with any of the guys.
I am really enjoying Lupine Bay and it's interesting characters. I hope to be able to read more about this growing town soon, and also, I absolutely love Ava's little brother and his growing animal/creature obsession!
Thoroughly enjoyed, would have loved to see a bit more of interaction in the relationships but didn't want to leave the story behind but another great addition to the series.
I had not read book one before this book (will correct that immediately) but I still throughly enjoying this book. I was intrigued by all the MCs...Lili is powerful and capable and I loved how she connected and handled her guys! And the guys are not only seen connecting with her but with each other as well! This is exciting book from this talented author and I am excited to see what book three brings...do yourself a favour and read this book!
