'The Creator' is a Sci-Fi novel that follows the same theme as Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, a mad scientist who creates a monster that destroys him. In this novel a high-tech billionaire develops the world's most powerful supercomputer and uses it to host a digital mini-universe populated by intelligent creatures. These beings exist as two separate races living on different planets; soon after 'first contact' these two races manage to go to war with one another. On a deeper level this book examines the question whether humans have the maturity and moral right to create artificial, intelligent life.
The only negative thing I can say is the repeating parts of the story including begging of some chapters, the characters, world and events are well described.
