Hearts of Nashville #3

Sidearms and Songbirds

Rate this book
Carly Wayne has come to Nashville with a dream - to be the next big country music star. Of course, everyone in Nashville has that dream, so her odds seem pretty slim. When Quinn Dawson hears her sing and recommends her to his music label, doors open for her that she never expected. But then her ex-husband shows up, violating his restraining order and putting her and her young daughter in danger.

Sam Bolton takes the safety of everyone in his community seriously, and Carly Wayne is no exception, even if he's not sure what to make of her at first. As he looks into her situation, one thing becomes very clear - she's not an ordinary woman, and she might in fact be the one he's been looking for all his life. Now the challenge is keeping her safe until they can figure out just what's going on between them, and if they have what it takes to make it last.

Sidearms and Songbirds is the final volume of the Hearts of Nashville trilogy.

Amelia C. Adams is a wife, a mother, and a novelist. She spends her days dreaming up stories and her nights writing them down. Her biggest hero is her husband, and you might just see bits and pieces of him as you read her novels.

She loves all things historical and enjoys learning about days gone by, but she's glad she was born more recently (she won't say how recently or not recently) because the Internet is awesome, and she's glad she doesn't have to wash her clothes by hand in a galvanized tub. She has hit Amazon bestseller status twice, once for A Clean Slate and once for A Clear Hope.

Ms. Adams just can’t write a bad story. This is another fantastic story that grabs you from the beginning right through to the end. You can’t put it down. This is kind of a thriller as well as a romance story. A lot is going on in this story.
A single mom moves to Nashville to try a chance at her dreams.
She runs into a man later after finishing her first album and assumes he is one of those guys hitting on her and she lets him have it. This happens at her daughter’s new school, her first day in kindergarten.
She see’s him with his daughter who just happens to now be her daughter’s best friend even on the first day of school.
She arrives home later and see’s a candy box on her porch with her wedding ring she pawned back in Denver. This scares her as it means her ex found them.
The next day she goes to the police station and wants to see the police chief. Guess who is the police chief!
Well straightening a few things she explains about her ex and now the excitement all begins.
Two little girls’ best friends, both with single parents. How does this story go and how does it end? Well you have to get it to find out. Believe me you want to go on this fun, but thrilling ride.
This is s must read and I am sure you will love it, I sure did.

Second chances

It's been awhile coming, but we'll worth the wait. The third book in the Hearts of Nashville series is a winner. Carly and San were meant to find each other, and Sophie and Tillie are icing on the cake. Just enough intrigue, not too intense, with a sweet love story to top it off..I never get enough of Ameli's books, she always seems to hit all the right notes.
