➳A romance that contradicts how you should be feeling versus how you truly feel towards someone you shouldn't fall in love with, Brianna Hale knows how to write a kinky romance filled with instant attraction towards your opposite partner...

➳Distracted because of this cover, there is no denying that the story will swoon you away. Brianna has created a new world that is filled with that kinky side of wanting to have a daddy with you to protect you and guard your heart. There is so much in this story that I will not write about because you MUST read this novel to understand the actual dramatic side of it, one that will have you on your toes with wanting more of Misha and Ciara. The reasons why she becomes a "baby" towards her "sugar daddy" that is Misha, is one that connects her background to Misha's in a way that also connects to Misha's brother. Not mentioning too much about him because he is a contributing factor towards all the drama that is present in this novel.

➳Though daddy romances are not my favorites, I will never reject a book by Brianna Hale because she is the only true author that has converted me into daddy romance novels. Overall, this is a very short review because I cannot say so much about it since I will most likely give something away. But just know this, there is a perfection side towards all the dramatics between Misha and Ciara. A chemistry that will have you swooning for more of their love conquest towards being with each other. Thank you to Brianna for legitimately contacting me about this beauty YESTERDAY and I got to finish it all in one sitting!

4 Sugar Baby Stars ⭐

Being broke is the least of Ciara Alder’s problems. Owing one of the most bloodthirsty men of London £450 pounds; it’s a matter of life or death.

Misha Ravnikar tries to stay out of his brother’s business. His brother Damir is volatile and has set his sights on Ciara as part of a vendetta against her family. Feeling compelled to help her, Misha agrees to something he would never have considered, being a sugar daddy. Well actually hers.

"Her daddy. You know, her sugar daddy. You give her a fat allowance in exchange for a couple of dates a week and a blow job when you’re feeling lonely."

Even though Ciara had been estranged from her parents prior to their death, their sins now rest in her lap. With the seed having been planted, she isn’t above selling her body in exchange for much needed money. What she envisioned to be distasteful, is instead beyond her wildest dreams.

Rather than some old, unattractive suitor, meeting Misha is like the ‘holy grail of sugar daddy’s’. Gorgeous, wealthy and generous. If he’s grumpy and anti-social, Ciara can overlook that since it’s just a transaction. Except neither had banked on liking each other…

"I’m not faking my emotions, though. And that makes me wonder, is it worse to pretend to feel more than you do to get what you want, or to be paid in cold hard cash by someone who lives in your heart?"

Unfortunately, their non-relationship has an expiry date. Because when Misha’s real identity is revealed, neither his villainous brother Damir or Ciara will understand the lengths he’s gone to, especially to keep her safe.

Come to Daddy was decadently hot with the perfect balance of sweet. Admittedly Damir the psychotic brother was quite entertaining. It was a great little read, except for the shopping spree at Chanel. I might have shed a tear or two out of envy.

description This book was super good. Whenever anyone asks me about this author's books, I like to say she writes "intelligent smut." Sure the books tend to be quite "insta-lovey" and the sex plentiful, but I can always count on getting a well developed and interesting plot to go along with those things. This book was no different in that respect. It was well written. Well paced. The plot was engaging. It was sexy. It was sweet. It made my heart hurt. It made me smile, and it was all wrapped up in a satisfying (somewhat cliffhanger like) ending.

description

Both the main characters were extremely likable. Misha was a grumpy teddy bear, but I loved him. Not a manwhore. Sexy. Sweet. Loveable. Alpha. Ciara was just as awesome. Intelligent. Not a virgin. Sweet. Smart. Together they had amazing chemistry. There were also a couple of interesting secondary characters that I hope get books of their own. Especially Misha's PA Bethany (because OMG I am DYING to see where this author is going in regard to her character and her *maybe* hero!!!) The sex scenes were hot and plentiful, and there wasn't any OW or OM drama.

Really nothing else left to say other than...READ IT! (LOL). description

Overall Opinion: I read other reviews and found that the general consensus was that this was smut with "more". I agree to certain extent. I was looking for a fluffy, sexy read after a downer read -- and I got it. I did good in that I wasn't really expecting much out of that "more" and wasn't disappointed. While I think it had some story along with the hot scenes, I don't think it really was that deep of a story. I haven't read many "daddy" dynamic books, so I was a little unsure about that going in. But don't let the title fool you -- I thought that that dynamic was really minimal, and it was more about him being considered a sugar daddy (though "daddy" is thrown out a few times in a few of the sex scenes). It was instalove with a jerk-type hero that becomes sweet for the h along with some suspenseful scenes thrown in -- I'm sure it'll be a win for many readers!

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Ciara and Misha's story. Ciara has found herself in a bad situation after her parents death where she owes a criminal a lot of money that they stole from him. Ciara's experience is the final straw for Misha and his psycho brother, so he decides to help her and the only way he and his PA figure he can do that is to become her sugar daddy. They have a rocky first "date", but soon both of them realize that they really want each other. There are some suspenseful scenes, some hot sexy times, and a few sweet moments...and they get a HFN ending.

POV: This alternated between Ciara and Misha's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Good until the end -- which felt rushed. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well otherwise.

Instalove: Yes. They seem to jump into stronger feelings and I felt like they missed some steps in between 🤷🏻‍♀️

H rating: 4 stars. Misha. I liked him. He was kind of a jerk at first for sure, but he soon revealed himself as the sweet-on-the-inside-jerk-on-the-outside type H that I always seem to enjoy.

h rating: 3 stars. Ciara. I struggled with her at the end. Otherwise, I appreciated her strength and how she rolled with the punches.

Sadness level: Low, no tissues needed

Push/Pull: Yes

Heat level: Hot. They have some hot tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.

Descriptive sex: Yes

OW/OM drama: No

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: No, once they start their arrangement they continue it.

Possible Triggers: Yes

Closure: This had closure for the h's career goals and that they are going to be together, but other than that I felt like there were a lot of unanswered questions. I also didn't like that the epilogue was fully devoted to a side character and setting up the next book. I would call this a HFN ending.

Safety: This one is probably either Safe or Safe with exception for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences.

Ciara Alders is a college student who inherited her father’s financial troubles. Faced with the danger of owing money to a powerful criminal, Ciara ignore the problem and decides to enter the world of sugaring to help repay an enormous debt.

“I bit the inside of my cheek. Have I just landed the holy grail of sugar daddies?”

Mikhail “Misha” Ravnikar is a real estate developer who is quite serious about his work, which doesn’t leave much time for other activities. With a certain family dynamic, Misha feels an obligation to his brother but doesn’t hold the same ruthless beliefs about making money.

“Ask yourself. “If I were a nice artificial intelligence, what would I say?” Turn off your asshole interface for a while.”

Told in dual POV, the sugar daddy relationship begins on shaky ground as Ciara and Misha are completely new to the arrangement. Misha’s prickly personality doesn’t make it easy for Ciara, but she remains committed to her goal. As feelings develop, both feel the need to reveal the truth even though it can change everything.

“Nice and slow.” One of his fingers teases my entrance and then sinks inside me. “Is that enough, ljubica?

What I liked about these characters is how Ciara and Misha have a common bond regarding a family betrayal, yet they remain strong and persevere in their own way. For her age, Ciara is mature and the fact she isn’t materialistic is endearing. With his strong presence and need to protect, Misha is a natural Daddy. However, I did want more development regarding Misha’s past and the ongoing plot line between he and his brother. Now knowing there is more to come in the next book, I’ll look forward to seeing how it advances. I also remain very curious about Bethany.

Come to Daddy a romantic and sexy story about finding love in an unlikely place. This book will appeal to those who want a caring alpha hero.

First of all I want to say that normally I do not care for the whole “Daddy, spank me” scenario; but I thought I would give this a try because I like the author! I am super glad I did give this a go!!! I found that the “Daddy” theme in this particular story wasn’t how it has been done in other books. In fact, even though Misha becomes Ciara’s sugar daddy, it isn’t said during sex or anything like that.
I realize I am not being too clear on it but I don’t want to spoil the storyline.

Secondly, this was labelled as a dark read, and while it definitely has dark undertones to it, I have read way darker! Misha turns out to be such a sweetheart under his hard core. I loved him and Ciara together and their relationship may have developed quickly but there was depth to it for sure!

Lastly, the sex is super explosive and I gobbled it up!! With that being said, there still was an interesting storyline that kept me in suspense! By the 70% mark I was biting my nails in anticipation of what was going on!

I am so glad that I take risks with certain books, and this is one of them! I can’t wait to read the next instalment as it is about Misha’s brother who is an anti-hero that I am not sure if I’ll like! Brianna Hale is one of those authors who can definitely pull it off.. that is to make an anti-hero somehow human! It’s going to be a bumpy ride Iam sure of it!!! I can’t wait to dive right in!!!

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Type: Book 1 of Love Don't Cost a Thing
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Ciara Alders was in a major predicament. Left with her father’s huge debt, she needed an easy and fast solution. After giving it some thought, she decided to try something she never thought she would.

Mikhail (Misha) Ravnikar was a very wealthy older gentleman. Money was never an issue when splurging on his sugar baby, until questions were raised and loyalty doubted.

She seemed happy enough about accepting my money and I should have just left it at that. I shouldn’t have touched her.

Misha was a surly and prickly man. But I liked how he was sweet in his own way with his generosity and protectiveness.

I bite the inside of my cheek. Have I just landed the holy grail of sugar daddies?

Ciara knew what she needed and was not afraid to take chances. I liked how she pushed for what she wanted but not mindless about it.

The story started strong with an interesting premise especially with the circumstances of their arrangement. I enjoyed learning alongside Ciara about sugaring. I also liked the suspense element but I wish it wasn’t too straightforward. Both characters were highly likeable and had good chemistry together making the sex scenes alluring.

Come To Daddy is a story of finding love in an unconventional way. It would appeal to readers looking for a semi sweet sexy romance with a dash of suspense.

Note:
I love the characters in the next book. I hope the hero will stay true to his character and the story dark and dangerous :p

“Have I just landed the holy grail of sugar daddies? He’s good-looking, generous, well-mannered. Sometimes he’s grumpy but I can put up with a bit of grumpiness for such a generous allowance. Before I get carried away, though, I should be sure about what I’m getting myself into.”

Brianna Hale is a new to me author and I positively love it when you read a story by an author you’ve never read before and it just draws you in and keeps you captivated right up to the very last page. Brianna’s writing was right on point, it was intriguing with sexy characters that had an instant connection which meant I just couldn’t help but fall in love with them. Come to Daddy was the perfect balance of steam, suspense and charm which I really enjoyed.

Ciara is in a financial bind thanks to her dad and now fears being killed by the mob, if she can’t find a way to pay them back. Ciara needs to make money and make it fast to repay her father’s monetary debt. Her solution is to enter the world of ‘surgaring’ which is a quick way to make money, but at what cost?

Mikhail (Misha) is an extremely wealthy older man and quite boorish and grumpy, but despite his irritability he was sweet and protective in his own unique way. In my eyes he was the perfect sugar daddy and I fell for him big time.

“I’m never letting you go now. Do you understand, Ljubica? I’m not letting you out of my sight and I don’t have it in me to leave again.”

I loved the instant attraction that occurred between Ciara and Misha and what started out as an arrangement in order to make some money turned into something so much more. Their intense and powerful chemistry was off the Richter scale and the more I read, the more I liked Ciara and Misha and the special connection they had developed.

I really enjoyed Come to Daddy and found the whole arrangement involving sugaring to be quite interesting and intriguing. The suspenseful elements made for a compelling read and I just couldn’t get enough of what this world of sugaring involved. Sometimes you come across someone and fall in love in the most unexpected and unique ways, and I love that. Come to Daddy was a fantastic story and I can’t wait to read more of what Brianna Hale has to offer.

3.5 STARS!
"I live in your heart as surely as you live in mine."
Hmmm....despite having its 'off' moments, I really enjoyed this one! A huge thank you to my buddy readers, Monique and Ursy. <3

Plot: Ciara's estranged parents ripped off a very dangerous man. When they die unexpectedly, Damir Ravnikov turns his attention to their daughter. He wants his money. Period. That Ciara doesn't have it is irrelevant.

Enter Misha, Damir's brother. Misha has long put up with Damir's cruel ways, but he balks at his brother's obsessive torment of the innocent Ciara.

What follows is how the story both excels and falters. I know you're thinking, Huh? but bear with me here. :-)

The faltering: The premise, taken on its own, is silly.

The excelling: Misha and Ciara's 'sugar bowl' relationship was really well done. I loved learning about that 'world' alongside Ciara. I don't know if the author actually did research or not, but it felt genuine and real to me.
Is it worse to pretend to feel more than you do to get what you want or to be paid in cold hard cash by someone who lives in your heart?
And watching Ciara and Misha unravel each other was thrilling! I especially loved how the stern, unfeeling Misha came alive around her.
It was fucking wonderful getting carried away with her.
Plus, the way the author was able to sprinkle in tidbits of DD/lg was very organic to the story, and it added the perfect amount of kinky heat.

I also really liked the contrast between Misha and Damir. As a villain, I thought Damir, with his sociopathic tendencies, was perfect.

There were some technical problems with the story though. Authors have to remember that dual points of view don't allow for certain types of push/pull because the reader already KNOWS what's going on.
"I gave you honesty when I touched you. Every kiss was the truth."
But having said that, the fast pacing of the plot helped to alleviate this somewhat.

Honestly, I'm really looking forward to Damir's twisted story in book 2!

This one just didn't quite cut it for me. There were parts that were enjoyable but something about the book as a whole wasn't totally cohesive or very dimensional.

The plot revolves around a college student in London named Ciara. Her parents, from who she was estranged have just been buried after dying when their plane went down. And this is where the other characters enter - the Ravnikar brothers - Misha and Damir. Both are billionaires in their own rights through property developments and in Damir's case a lot of shady dealings. But billionaire or no, Damir is a sadistic SOB and although Ciara is a penniless student he goes to the funeral, corners her and threatens her to come up with almost half a million pounds in money that her parents stole from him. The consequences if she does not are dire.

Enter Misha - man, he made me laugh a lot at the beginning. He's very somber, businesslike, grumpy and his people skills are close to nil. His exchanges with his larger than life assistant Bethany had me cracking up - she totally knows no boundaries and half the time coaches Misha on what he's done wrong and what he should do. All that being said, Misha does not want to see Ciara fall victim to his psychotic blood thirsty brother and knows she doesn't have the money so he has to figure out a way to help her out without her or her brother knowing it's coming from him. So with Bethany as architect of the scheme, he goes onto a page for Sugar Daddies to find their Sugar Babies. Ciara just happens to have put up her profile after Bethany has paid a visit to her old classmate and put the idea in her head. And thus starts the relationship of Misha and Ciara.

I think I really liked the first half of the book better than the 2nd. Misha is so socially awkward and unaware and Ciara is a first time sugar baby have gotten her advice from Tumblr and their exchanges are really quite funny from a certain point of view. Of course, slowly they come to mean more to another and their hot and sexy times together are just that - hot and sexy. But the story is fraught with what do you do when you fall for someone that is supposed to be a mere arrangement and how do you tell the girl you care for that you aren't who you say you are? Then there is Damir, who surprisingly didn't feel like he was so much of the story even though it's all supposed to be brought on by him. He was a little too out there and comic book for me.

The book ends on a nice touch for Misha and Ciara. I wish I could've been more personally invested in them but it just didn't run deep enough for me. There is also an epilogue that deals with Bethany and Damir and I suppose a second book is in the works.

All in all, not a terrible read but nothing that I really felt submerged in. 3 1/2 stars.

3.5*

Normally I would skip this book assuming it was just a quick smut read. Not that I have an issue with short smut reads but this time I was just looking for more. But the reviews suggested more and I was intrigued.

The reviews were right this is more.
Despite being estranged from her parents after learning they were crooks. Ciara is being held accountable for their remaining debt by the devil they stole from. Damir Ravnikar is a truly ruthless individual and he wants Ciara to work off her parents debt in his stripclub. His bother Mikhail however is a different story. He’s forty-two, a genius with money and works with his brother at Ravnikar Enterprises. He can’t bear the thought of Ciara being slowly destroyed working 10 years for his brother. But the problem is how can he get money to her without his brother knowing or her asking questions.
His PA and the absolute star of the book Bethany comes up with the idea of sugaring. Bethany brought life to every pages she’s on and I can’t wait for the next book.

With the threat of Damir hanging over her Ciara really has no choice. Mikhail despite his age and fortune however doesn’t have a lot of experience actually interacting with women and he struggles. It’s delightful as these two stumble their way into a relationship. But it’s a relationship built on lies and secrets. What will happen when the truth comes out?

As I’ve said this book was much more than I expected and I’m really looking forward to the next one.
While I enjoyed this it did have some interesting lines. Now I know I’m picky but

I wake sometime later with the sensation that time has passed.

Doesn’t that always happen when you sleep?

Hale Does Delicious AGAIN
*read on KU. No need of sugar daddies called promo teams*

I loved this book. The new covers are gorgeous. Name an author that does Daddy better than Hale. Yes, I'm waiting. Oh, you can't name one? Well, I can't either! This book was so full of humor. I CANNOT. It had such hilarious moments. I loved the two main characters, and they were entertaining to spend time with. It was a definite page-turner, and once I finished this book, I HAD TO CONTINUE WITH BOOK TWO RIGHT AWAY!

Funny. Well-written. A contemporary romance with a dark edge. Typically the premise of this book is not something I would jump at - but it's Brianna Hale so she pulled it off. All the characters in this book had personality, plus a heroine who was not bratty in an annoying way. A saucy & smart heroine + a grumpy, surly, yet caring Hero? I rooted for this couple. Plus this had a plot that made sense. Slightly over the top, but I could suspend disbelief. Something I appreciate about Brianna Hale is that I can tell with each book she always does basic google research (not all authors do this, and it shows). I was cracking up at Ciara looking up tips for dating sugar daddies on tumblr and I imagined the author doing research on the world of dating sugar daddies while writing this. It reminded me when I was in college and my roommate decided to create a Match.com account and wanted my help and would dish on all her dates gone awry. Don't let the sugar baby premise scare you away if that doesn't sound appealing to you! Somehow Brianna Hale makes things palatable, and this book is a lot more than this premise. Anyway, this book had a fun vibe kinda similar to Sugar Daddies by Jade West, except I liked the plot (as well as the smut) way more here.

4 stars, I'm onto the next book.

BR with my najdražjima prijateljicama Melanie and Ursy!! We had fun!

I have mixed feelings about this book. I very much liked the first half. Well, just not the premise. I think it was utterly unbelievable and kind of stupid. But I did like the relationship between Ciara and Mischa. The title and the blurb made me think the story would have a kinky dd/lg theme. However, I liked this sugar stuff so much better. I don’t remember that I would have read about sugar daddies before.

Both MCs were really likable in the first half. Ciara had a strong backbone and I admired how she didn't take shit from Mischa. Their messaging was hilarious. Also, it was a nice change that Mischa was not a complete asshole. I know, we all love well-written jerks in books but still, it was nice to have a different hero for a change.

And then the second half of the book happened. It was boring, there was too much drama, and I started to dislike MCs. Also, I would be just fine without those two too much cheesy scenes at the end. I would gladly exchange them for some more sex scenes. There was only one that was actually oh so hot. Others were pretty unexciting. I know Briana Hale can do way much better.

I have to make a little comment about the Slovenian thing. It's funny that the author got all the complicated sentences right (and with all the č, š, ž as well) but she somehow got wrong with translating the word brother. It's brat in Slovenian. The word she used - brata - means two brothers. In case you're interested, plural for brothers, which means three or more, is bratje.

As for the epilogue, it got me intrigued but not sure if that's enough to persuade me to want to read the next one. I guess we'll see.

I finally got around to this book since book 2 is coming up soon!!! And from what Brianna said you must read this to know about book 2.

Anddd man i enjoyed this!! It was really interesting seeing a young woman Ciara navigate into the sugar baby world.. and find a sugar daddy.. now she isn't doing this for fun oh no she is in deeeppp debt.. and it isn't even her debt its her parents who screwed her over.. and now the big bad is putting this all on her.. give him his money on the pole in his area.. or die.. pretty much that..
So she gets advice from someone to be a sugar baby.. and that's where Misha comes in..

And let me say its horrible at the beginning since he doesn't wanna be a daddy and she doesn't wanna be a sugar baby.. but things you do.. believe me.. when you find out why Misha is doing what he's doing you'll understand.

Also their is something going on between Damir and Misha PA bethany...

3.5 hmm…. (scratching head) Stars

When I started to read this book I was wondering if I was reading a Brianna Hale book. I’ve only read one book by this author and the Protégé was excellent. It was edgy, angsty, well-written and totally sexy.

I don’t have anything truly bad to say about Come to Daddy, but it didn’t read like a typical Brianna Hale book.

Come to Daddy is a no-muss, no-fuss sort of smutty read. I love the storyline, but I had a problem with execution and flow.

My problems

The flow was all off in this book. It took a good 30% of the book to get to the heart of the story. I understand the lead up and we need to understand the Heroine’s situation but 30%?. Ciara needs money and she’s a young pretty thing, so she decides to get a Sugar Daddy. I get it, but it took a lot of time to get there. She had to talk to her friends, then figure out what a Sugar Daddy and Sugar babies were, I mean, it was just too much and too long.

Then there was Misha. The beginning of the book started out dark and promising, but that’s basically it. We figure out Misha and his brother killed their father. There weren’t any flashbacks or any moments in the past to help me build a better picture of the relationship between Misha and his brother. I don’t like flashbacks persay, but I was lacking the emotional connection I usually have with the main characters, especially if they come from a bad past.

I don’t have any problems with insta-lust in books. I was in a smutty mood and wanted it, but I felt like the flow was off. There was zero tension to lead to the deed and then boom, there was sex sex and more sex. I love to read me some sex, but I needed it more sprinkled throughout the book and please give me foreplay. I felt like had there been some sexual tension, it would have helped me to connect to the characters better.

I felt like the last part of the book was a bit boring and it wrapped up too pretty in a bow. I wanted the story to be played out more rather than have the character tell me their story. There’s something about story-telling in a book I can’t stand. Why can’t you just act it out for me?

I hate to say this but I feel like a disappointed parent. You have such high expectations for your author and when you finally get a new book that claims your interest you wonder what happened? Why did you give me a so so read? I didn’t feel like this book was any special and that totally broke my heart.

With that said.. my expectations for book 2

Make it dark. Give me gritty and nitty.

Give me the past. I want to build a relationship with the character, but don’t go TOO much into detail where it gets boring.

Build me some sexual tension! Give me foreplay, teasing.

Give me dark Kinky. Write sexy scenes that I haven’t read before. Shit, have the Hero rape her to give me the feels ya know?

Less story-telling and more action. More dialogue and give me the pretty picture for me to imagine in my head.

You give me that?! I will be puddy in your hands.

I absolutely love Brianna Hale's daddy stories and her newest release Come to Daddy is no exception.

You need to meet Misha and Ciara. Misha, the slovenian billionaire who made me swoon, and Ciara the young student who needs money to pay off her parents' debt.

In this book the author takes us in the Sugar Daddy/ Baby relationship.

“There aren’t any rules. We can be whoever we want to be to each other.”

Anticipation, scorching hot scenes, a disturbing brother swirl around to create a surprisingly sweet story I devoured in no time.

I loved Ciara's strength and determination, her doubts and her capacity to stand up for herself. Misha's charm, grumpy behavior and struggle at communicating with his Sugar Baby made me smile and fall for him right away.

"He can have his life and I can have mine, and this can be our special world between worlds."

Damir (Misha's brother)'s threats and mercilessness added an entertaining edge to this book. I'm now certainly anticipating his book, I can't wait to find out more about his mysterious man.

“Damir is despicable. But he’s also many things I respect and admire. Powerful. Ambitious. Intelligent.”

I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ARC COPY OF THIS BOOK. THANK YOU!!!

"Come to Daddy" is the story of Ciara and Misha.

Recently, I've been shying away from contemporary erotica, but for some reason when I read this blurb, it pulled me in.

When Ciara Alders is orphaned after the death of her money hungry parents, she never expects to be indebted to Damir Ravnikar, mob boss and owner of Ravnikar Enterprises.
The epitome of evil, Damir wants his money back that her father stole, and is about to force her to strip until she is given a beacon of hope..

Misha Ravnikar is the younger, nerdy brother to Damir. When he realizes his heartless brother might force the innocent Ciara into darkness, he and his assistant Bethany come up with a plan.
While she would lure Ciara in the world of "sugaring", Misha will be her "sugar daddy" so he can pay her back. Now it's time to trap the victim..

While Misha initially tries to remain uninvolved, soon Ciara's innocence pulls him in. But as Misha and Ciara embark on a passionate affair, Damir's threats and Misha's real identity remain a chip on their shoulder. Can their love conquer all?

I really enjoyed this story! Contrary to the name, this is not a DD/LG romance, but instead a sugar daddy one.
I learned so much about the "SD" world, and so many new terms too. The chemistry between our leads was HOT- and Misha was such a kind and refreshing beta hero. He had no evil bone in his body, and contrary to popular tropes, was a sweetheart who was not ashamed of groveling. Ciara was innocent and sexy! I enjoyed their interactions, and the ending was satisfying.

Cannot wait to read about B and D. That finale..CHILLING!

Read if you don't mind a naughty but sweet May-December romance :)

Re read on november 2019

So i totally missed the release of book two so to refresh my mind i decided to re read this one. Like the first time i enjoyed it and was less surprised by the turn of events so it felt even better. It was hot, slow and at the same time a lot happening. The end got me mixed up this time, i wanted more but i wasn't sure if i would soften about Damir.

ARC provided by the author in exchange of an honest review

I don't usually do this because i don't always trust arc's reviews but when this author asked me i was really curious about this book and since i loved her book "the protege" i wanted to try it.
I was surprised with the direction of the story, it's not exactly what i was expecting but it was interesting and gave more substance to the story. Ciara and Misha were intriguing characters with a lot of chemistry ! It goes pretty fast between them and overall so sometimes i was a bit dizzy but i had a good time and couldn't put it down because i was very curious to know more. The flow of the story is easy, fast and keep you into the book.

I was affraid a bit affraid at the end but finally it was good and with a bonus part that made me impatient for the next in the serie !!

Once again, Brianna brings her deliciously naughty writing along with a hot, grumpy, and downright sexy Daddy to us. Misha has so many hidden layers, and I loved uncovering them with every turn of the page. He may not think he wants love, but Ciara signing up to be his sugar baby flips his world upside down.

Brianna Hale brings her signature style of writing, drawing you into the world of Sugar Daddy and sugar baby and delivers a steamy, yet suspenseful story that I got sucked into! Her words as always have offered an escape into Misha and Ciara's hot, sugary sweet story!

Now, Brianna, please tell us we can expect Damir really soon, because he's just downright bad! I love it!!

Loved Misha

Ciara was 20yrs younger than Misha but that did not deter me. I enjoyed the connection between these two and loved how Misha felt about Ciara. He was so awkward meeting Ciara, such a grouch! It does have a sugar daddy theme, which I am not a fan of, but I got past this and just went with it. This is a duet, but the second book focuses on Misha’s brother (who I did not like in this one).
