A lot of us live with things that don’t work in a lot of areas of our lives. The reasons vary of course. Sometimes with a product or service it’s because we think the switching cost is too high. Sometimes with a job or relationship it’s because we are trying to meet someone else’s expectations. Sometimes with politics or health we really believe we don’t have other options. But in just about every case, living with something that doesn’t work is not only unnecessary but often seriously detrimental to our happiness.
