Twins Emma and Briar have immersed themselves in the paranormal underbelly of Charleston, South Carolina, a world filled with magic, mystery, ghosts, and more.
When the forces of dark magic are brought to bear against them and their sister Belles, they’ll need help from shifters and a shaman to reach a final confrontation at Angel Oak. Along the way, one Belle finds love, while another is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice.
CAROLINA CONJURING concludes the HELL’S BELLE’S TRILOGY. It’s filled with a deep dive into the background of many of the characters and the history of the South Carolina Lowcountry, and it’s loaded with non-stop supernatural action. Besides, where else will you meet a headless ghost, attend a mermaid’s funeral, and learn how a Belle helped influence the writing of one of the best-selling novels of all-time?
Unbelievably disappointed with all the errors in this book
Wow. After waiting FOREVER for this book due to the author not finishing it and the release date being pushed back a few times, I was excited to finally get to read it. The storyline itself was fantastic but I could not get past the unbelievable amount of errors in this book. It’s almost as if no one proofread it before it was sent to be published. From simple spelling errors: ben instead of been, Creme brule rather than Creme Brûlée, man instead of mean, crafter vs crafted, wee vs we, th vs the, payed vs paid (and many other errors) to larger errors such as the boat Emmanuel being called the Ezekiel and having the name of the person that died at Stoneberry wrong in one part. These mistakes were seriously distracting and really took away from the book. After waiting so long for this one to come out, I can honestly say I’m extremely disappointed in the final product. I wouldn’t recommend this book until the author goes through it with a fine tooth comb and fixes all the mistakes.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series and had looked forward to the rest of the trilogy. The second book seemed to fall short (and not just in its length.) However I still looked forward to the concluding book. Boy was I disappointed. Carolina Conjuring was full of spelling, grammatical and punctuation mistakes. It lacked a lot of proper wrap ups and included a few too many unnecessary extras for being as short as it was. Overall I struggled to get through this one, hoping for a real ending to the story but ultimately ended up feeling like the author changed her mind about even wanting to write this book and so just cranked out an ending as fast as she could manage.
This book is the concluding title in the Hell’s Belles trilogy, and I am satisfied in how it ended. Well, there was a couple things that happened that made me sad, but the happenings weren’t out of place with what happened. Vague, I know, but I don’t even like to give any spoilers to those that haven’t read this yet. We get to see how Ezekiel came to be the person he is, and those who helped him on his way. The only thing I wish is that we had had a little bit of a refresher of the other books, but that is just for me; I read too fast to always remember details. One excellent thing: the author at the end hinted there might be more. Great series, and I recommend!
It’s an amazing world that the author has created. I wish these books had been a bit longer. The first one did a lot of setup and explanation, which set the tone for the trilogy. However, the second and third books seemed light on that detail that was so great in the first one. All in all, it was a great story- a great trilogy. Would benefit greatly from another round of editing, especially with regard to punctuation. Looking forward to reading more from this talented author.
I really enjoyed this book and this series. The characters are well rounded and the storyline was very interesting. While I gave the other 2 books 5 stars I ended up giving this one 4 stars. My reason being that the build up to the end was intense but the ending fell a little flat. I just felt like there was more that could have been written in the ending to make it better or more complete. Overall though this series is a 4 1/2-5 stars. Would definitely recommend to others because they may feel differently.
The story starts and ends with funerals and loss. In this story, we get to know more about Calista and Aleta’s brother bent on revenge against everyone. It is quite the battle brewing against good and evil, and sadness will come, but the Belle’s live to fight and maybe even love another day.
Finally got the final book and it did not disappoint! I even cried a little. There are some errors throughout the book, but it didn't stop me from reading. Most are pretty simple, so someone dropped the ball. But with the long wait for this book Alison Claire did not hold back! I'm excited to see where she decides to go next with her Belle's.
I would have enjoyed this book much more had it been properly edited. There enough mistakes to pull my attention away from the story. I wish I could have enjoyed it more.
