The eight book in the series. Ever since I heard of this eight installment I'm excited to read this one, unfortunately someone has to work, thank you holidays....
Back to the book, Dane is part of a triad relationship. An odd equation that in the real world is hard to maintain (but it's paranormal). Relationship devotes time, effort, love, giving oneself to the one you love but if it's two... Hard. You got to give equal attention, affection and perspiration to both of them and vice versa. In the end love always win, no matter what relationship you are in.

This book focuses on Dane and his mates. You read that right he has more than one. The fact that Dane has more than one mate makes this book different from all the others.
Cole and Olivia work at Liberty’s bar 'The Deuce' and Dane doesn’t trust anyone but himself to watch over them while they work. Cole is ex-military and his brother has been taken because of it. Things get dangerous fast. Olivia is almost killed and Dane must change her to save her. As soon as he touches her, he knows that she is his mate. Cole watches over Olivia while Dane is sedated for her transition. Cole has to touch her to help her and she feels that same pull Cole is her mate. Nothing like this has ever happened before. They will have to figure out how it will all work.
We meet Landon, Cole’s younger brother who I suspect will be an up and coming story. I can’t get enough of this series. I can’t wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. It is a must read for sure.

My favorite so far!
This is my favorite of the series today. I've been intrigued with Dane, Cole, and Olivia since Savage came out. I love the way their relationship developed over the series , culminating in this book. I also love the way that Theresa His song doesn't shy away from Dane and Cole's love story. I lot of less brave writers would have been tempted to just focus on their interactions with Olivia. However, it's the the triad that makes this love story so beautiful. Dane is not complete without Olivia AND Cole; Cole is not complete without Olivia AND Dane; and Olivia is not complete without Dane AND Cole.
*****SPOILER ALERT*****
One of my favorite scenes in the book is when Olivia confronts Beth when she's trying to get to Cole after he was shot and Dane was sedated. It resonated with me because I think it showed the true strength of a woman. Women are often referred to as the weaker sex because (on average) we aren't as big and strong as men, but women have great reserves when it comes to enduring what gets thrown our way. It's what allows us to go through the sheer hell of child birth and then do it again. And it's what allows us to bring/ push and pull our loved ones through the toughest times and still remain standing. We go girls!
Lastly, my heart broke for Landon when he thought to himself that he'd never be able to have a boyfriend because of the scars on his back. I hated the defeat of it. It's an all too familiar scenario, where the victim continues to be victimized long after the original trauma has ended. However, cutting yourself off from pieces of yourself, whether that be the possibility of love or an activity you used to enjoy prior to the trauma only empowers the one who victimized you in the first place. They win. Fortunately for Landon, I have a sneaking suspicion that Noah is going to show him that few scars don't determine his worth, not if you really love someone. I like the fact that Theresa Hissong stated in the the readers note that Noah wouldn't be the next book. London's got a lot of healing to do before he'll be ready for Noah.

The problems that seem to follow the Shaw pride are no different in this book, what at first seems not to be a problem that would concern the Shaw pride changes very quickly. Cole, the bartender at Liberty’s bar, realizes his brother has gone missing and realizes fairly quickly that it a ploy to get to him, a dark part of his past has come back to haunt him. Olivia, a waitress at the bar, gets pulled into these problems for being associated with Cole. This is where Dane, a Shaw Pride Guardian, comes into the picture. He is attracted to the pretty waitress that he gets to guard regularly, strangely Dane is also attracted to Cole. After a horrific accident, that involved Olivia, Dane and Cole realize that although it is unusual the three of them are destined to be mated as a triad. I really enjoy this series and was so happy to see the usual recipe for the books to be turned up-side down for a change.

Another great book in this series. Dane is a guardian for the pride and he is one tough guy. However, there are things some people don't know about him. One is, he has a kinky side. LOL. He has been helping out at the Dueces and while there he has made friends with Cole who is a bartender and Olivia who is one of the waitresses. Well you know that the males don't touch people. Well pay attention in this book cause it takes a twist for the awesome. Well until the cartel come after Cole. Then we see the protective side of Dane come out. Get ready to rub the center of your chest when reading because it will get intense. I love the excitement, and intensity of this book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to the end.

The next book in the Rise of the Pride is here! Loved this story of Dane, Olivia and Cole❣️Cole comes home one day to find his brother missing and immediately suspects a cartel that he helped to destroy when he was in the military. However, events after this cause for Olivia to be turned and when Dane touches her, realises that she is his mate......but while she’s turning a new discovery is made😍
Lots of action and going ons in the Pride which made it great read. We meet Landon, Cole’s brother who I suspect will be an up and coming story and whatever you do, don’t forget to read Theresa’s letter to us at the end.....it had me cackling😂

Another GREAT book to the Rise of the Pride Series!! 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I absolutely LOVE this book and the chemistry between Dane, Cole and Olivia. I love that Theresa created this story having Dane with two life mates because of how Dane had already felt towards both Cole and Olivia. The 3 of them were meant to be together! I'm anxious to see how Cole's brother will be once he recovers and what's possibly in store for him in the Shaw Pride and being a veterinarian. I'm thrilled about Talon and Liberty, as well. I LOVED everything about this book and the storyline and highly recommend this entire series!!!!

The ending
As I read this one I kept thinking it knew what was happening but I didn't. I actually expected Dane and Olivia to be mates but there is a surprise (I don't want to give anything away.) I felt like pieces of this one didn't fit together. There were so many added people that randomly appeared. Such as Olivia's mother. One minute her home was torn apart and we didn't hear anymore about. Then the mom showed up towards the end with no mention of what happened. I was very disappointed with the epilogue. I expected something different from Dane and Cole's anger. It was a rushed ending. I gave it five stars because it read well up to a certain spot for me.

I loved this book so much! Dane, Cole and Olivia join together to walk in unknown territory when they realize that Olivia is both Cole's and Dane's fated mate. Dane has a history of enjoying some kink in his sexual history so this story was so fitting and anticipated. The higher power knew that for Dane to be complete he would need this arrangement to be happy and content. It was tastefully done and oh so steamy. This series just gets better and more awesomer (is that a word?) with each book! If you love shifter romances don't miss out on this one!

This is Book 8 in the Rise of the Pride series. I swear these books just keep getting better and better! We finally get Dane’s story. It has a little surprise in it when we see Dane is attracted to Olivia but so is Cole. This is a great book that starts out fast and never slows down. You are kept on the edge of your seat throughout the book. If you love a good panther story, this is the series that you need to be reading. This is a steamy love story with a lot of action and suspense. You won’t regret reading it.

Could not put it down!
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this book. I carried my kindle around the house with me. I even was reading it while I was making a batch of cashew brittle. It was very tastefully done. I loved the connections between the three. They way the first sift was described, what the shift is like, I could kind of feel aching in my bones. This is one of those books I get lost in. It is like I was there. Please do yourself a favor and get this book! From a True Fan... Pam James.

Bold, exciting, romantic, proud and tasteful
This is the 1st series Im reading by Theresa Hissong, and I am a HUGE paranormal romance fan and avid reader. I can honestly say, I absolutely LOVED this book. I'm loving each and every one so far, but Dane, Cole and Olivia touched my heart. I admit I was a little leary as the plot progressed, but the story was written so masterfully, that I found myself opening my mind and heart and falling in love right along with the characters. Well done Theresa. I'm officially a forever fan.

Big fan of Theresa's books
I love Dane, Cole And Olivia's story. Its been a long wait but so will worth it. The chemistry between the 3 of them was off the charts. I only wish the series was more erotic, it would have been really hot. Rise of the Pride is a amazing series and highly recommend.

Love this series. Going into this book we knew it would be a triad,the first such mating for the Shaw Pride. Theresa did a great job with the scenes involving the threesome being intimate. Great writing, a few twist,sexy moments also. Love how the other Pride members from other books are involved in each new addition.

Fantastic
I absolutely freaking love this book, it was well worth the wait. This is my favorite out of the series so far, I’m not sure how she could top it but I bet she will! She did a fantastic job and I adore her for building the relationships as a true polyandry and not just fetishized. Wildly Steamy yet utterly Romantic.

an amazing story, Dane, Kye, and Olivia join in the first Triad mating that the clan has and it is wonderful, with tons of emotion, loads of action and all the steam we have come to expect form this clan of shifters.

I have totally enjoyed this whole series.at the end of book six or seven, you mentioned there would be 17 books. I'm hoping you're write g Josh's book. I feel you did an excellent job writing Dane and Cole's relationship and the three pack of mates! Thanks again for this series.

Dane
I loved this book because of the relationship between the three mates. I also understood why Cole wasn’t changed when he wanted to be changed. The way other characters appear in each book has just the right amount of subtlety. Gotta go now. Time to read Booth’s story. We didn’t meet his mate ahead of time...

Loved this book in a different way
I’ve been loving this series and when I read about Dane, Cole, and Olivia, I realized I loved this one as well, just in a different way. This book had the depth you need to understand their complex relationship, all the heat, and the thrills to keep you on the edge. Like I said, I loved this book!

Wow!
I'm giving this book 5 stars. This book for me has been Amazing. The love story was unexpected but so well written. I was hooked from the beginning.
Theresa has the ability to set you into a whole world where you don't want to leave. I can not wait to read her next one.

Awesome!
This is one of my favorite books of the series so far! Although I love Savage’s book I love threesome relationships!! Especially when the men are involved with each other as much as the female. I’m looking forward to Landon’s book!!!

Gets better with each character!
Was not expecting Dane to have two mates, but oh boy glad he did! I saw Olivia has one but after going back & reading the other books, should have seen Cole too!

Favorite book thus far
The first threesome book in the series and I LOVE it! I only wish that there was more m/m scenes in it. I can't wait for Noah's book when there hopefully will be.

REALLY REALLY GOOD BOOK
I loved this book, love this series!! The story line was absolutely awesome. Love happens regardless of how many people are involved, or what gender they are. I'm waiting impatiently for the next one. Keep following your gut, your books are awesome.

I really enjoyed this book! I wasn’t sure what to expect with it. I loved the turn out! I am very curious with Landon and how and if he fits with the pride. I loved how Cole and Olivia fit with Dane. It’s awesome! Can’t wait to read the next book!!

Great story for Dane! I was not expecting that but it was a great ending for him! I can't wait to read what happens next! The characters are well rounded and relatable. I love the different plot twists! This series is really great! I can't get enough of these books!
