A COSMIC CALAMITY! From the dawn of the universe came six INFINITY STONES, each in control of an essential aspect of space, reality, power, soul, mind and time. Now, THANOS strives to collect them all to further his mad plan of wiping out half the universe’s population. Standing between him and his the AVENGERS, the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, SPIDER-MAN, and more! But with one Infinity Stone already in Thanos’ possession, will even the combined might of the Marvel Universe be enough to stop him?
So, Avengers Prelude Comics is here. And here also the title is missing. And let alone the trailer. Though i don't care about those things. Marvel Studios know when what to do and what's not. In this comics issue, nothing much revealed. Except clearance that Thanos used Power Stone beating Hulk. And as a Hulk fan now I can feel peace. That he wasn't beat because he was weak or he was afraid. There was something much stronger than him. And almost everything are same as we watched on screen. Except some little details. Loved it. Loving it. 💙💙💙
Everytime I see a comic-book with Paco Díaz's artwork, I know I'll be tempted to qualify it with 5 stars over 5. This time I have the same feeling. Paco can draw the last detail as nobody I know. But I can't put 5 stars here. The script is not a prelude of Avengers Endgame, unless you consider Avengers Infinity War a prelude of that movie. This is not a new interlude you've never seen before. This is just the Avengers infinity War comic adaptation in a three issues limited series. The dialogues are too big and sometimes they didn't let the reader to see the artwork. So Paco does a great job, but remember: this is not a real prelude. This is Avengers Infinity War.
This is just an exact retelling of the movie but as a comic. For being called a 'prelude' I thought it would have stuff that happened before the movie?.. It doesn't. In that regard, it feels disappointing, a bit misleading, and just unnecessary. It's literally just the movie with nothing new, making it pointless.
Why didn't they at least give us a story with Thanos getting the power stone? That could have been interesting. It would have given us new information and had been a prelude. Oh well..
As for what we did get, the art is good. Story wise it's again the same as the movie, and with that I can't understand why the Movie writers aren't credited as the writers of this story if their script is ripped word for word? Instead it goes to Marvel Studio's creative research manager? Whatever.
All and all, it's okay for what it is, but it shouldn't be called a Prelude, and I don't know why people would want to read this instead of just watching it.
If you’ve read any of the preludes then you probably have a good idea of what you’ll be in for with this issue. It is not something to read if you’re looking for new information, it’s literally here simply to set up the next movie. And it does that in context of the other movies. In this case that means that it’s basically rehashing important points from Infinity War (which, let’s be honest – that had a lot of noteworthy points, good or bad).
Top! Definitiv ein muss für alle Fans!
