This issue was as strong as issue #6. It opens so beautifully with Eddie speaking on the topics of loss, grief, abandonment. It doesn't slow down, either. It's Cates writing so well.

I'm both happy and sad that I'm current with this series now. I don't get to binge on this any more.

4.5 stars. This was sad but great writing from Cates as Eddie was reflecting to himself. Then what that kid says to Eddie at the end. Ah damn!!

Upon re-reading this issue, if I could give it more than five stars, I would. Such an emotionally powerful story!
