Shocked to see his own name etched in the stone of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Cal Morgan teams up with MIA-POW activist Kate Ackerman to learn the identity of the soldier buried in his place
Gripping premise - Cal Morgan is a Vietnam veteran. He visits the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, and makes a stunning discovery - his name on the wall. But he is very much alive...
The story takes the reader on a trip halfway around the world as Cal and his friend Kate Ackerman - who is searching for the whereabouts of her husband who is listed as MIA - into a years-old mystery.
I found myself reading late into the night (just one more chapter!) to find out what happened next. However, I found it hard to read due to the myriad of spelling and word usage errors.
Decades after the end of the Viet Nam War [undeclared], Calvert Morgan finds his name on the Viet Nam Memorial listed as killed in action. The intrigue begins as he tries to find out how it happened. His wife is murdered as he continues to try the mystery and drugs and international politics come into play.
Final Answers has some good moments and some very boring ones as well.
What I really disliked, having read this on an e-reader, were the blatant spelling mistakes. This is literature and it's supposed to be properly edited and proofread.
