I am biased because this is my niece’s first book! However, It is an amazing book of poetry tempered with experiences of spiritual pain and growth which evolves into an acceptance and love of self. It is especially relatable in today’s culture of social media which inadvertently and sometimes advertently highlight what others have and what we may lack.
It is a spiritual journey in which God communicates through a daughter to refocus and align the eyes so as to see all that she is and has in and Him! Tasha count her blessings too when the curtain is drawn back; she realizes that God has given her a loving mom, dad, and true friendship. Natasha’s highlights these blessings beautifully in her poetry.
Young women have so many issues internally and externally; sometimes they overwhelmed us where we are just stuck! What I love about this book of poetry is the ability to see another’s struggle and discover where there is hope to move from “Fair to Phenomenal” (Natasha H. Biddings).
