Această lucrare a fost realizată în scopul de a răspunde la întrebarea: ,,Ce trebuie să cunoască din specialităţile chirurgicale orice student la medicină pentru a deveni clinician competent indiferent de domeniul în care va practica?". Cunoştinţele acumulate în anii IV-V de medicină, care se
concentrează pe dezvoltarea abilităţilor clinice de bază ale studentului, reprezintă temelia pregătirii medicale pentru majoritatea clinicienilor. În domeniile chirurgicale, din cauza perioadei îndelungate necesare pentru pregătirea completă a unui chirurg, medicii rezidenţi rămân la statutul de „student" pentru încă 3-9 ani de la finalizarea facultăţii. Ca urmare a acestei perioade extinse de pregătire, majoritatea facultăţilor de medicină pun accentul pe educaţia chirurgicală mai mult în timpul anilor de rezidenţiat şi mai puţin în timpul facultăţii. Din acest motiv, dedicăm exclusiv studenţilor această lucrare.

This was very information heavy. A good deal of it is common knowledge for those with medical knowledge so it feels redundant. The surgery information seemed detailed well but a bit outdated.
A good general overview but I only read this becasue my surgical rotations required it.

Most of the time is direct and gives straightforward recommendations but lacks a lot. usable for an introduction to general surgery for medical students.
