This book reveals the mother of all conspiracies. It sets forth biblical proof and irrefutable evidence that will cause the scales to fall from your eyes and reveal that the world you thought existed is a myth.
The most universally accepted scientific belief today is that the earth is a globe, spinning on its axis at a speed of approximately 1,000 miles per hour at the equator, while at the same time it is orbiting the sun at approximately 66,600 miles per hour. All of this is happening as the sun, in turn, is supposed to be hurtling through the Milky Way galaxy at approximately 500,000 miles per hour. The Milky Way galaxy, itself, is alleged to be racing through space at a speed ranging from 300,000 to 1,340,000 miles per hour.
What most people are not told is that the purported spinning, orbiting, and speeding through space has never been proven. In fact, every scientific experiment that has ever been performed to determine the motion of the earth has proven that the earth is stationary. Yet, textbooks ignore the scientific proof that contradicts the myth of a spinning and orbiting globe.
Christian schools have been hoodwinked into teaching heliocentrism, despite the clear teaching in the bible that the earth is not a sphere and does not move. This book reveals the evil forces behind the heliocentric deception, and why scientists and the Christian churches have gone along with it.
Phenomenal book. Having read Zetetic Astronomy immediately prior, I was familiar with some of the arguments. But Hendrie is a little bit more thorough and convincing in his arguments. Furthermore, he has the benefit of high-res photo evidence, which Rowbotham did not have at his disposal.
I was pleased to see Hendrie delve into the moon hoax, another subject I've been interested in. I've tried twice to get through Dark Mission by Richard Hoagland and twice have failed. The book is dry and, to me, not very believable. So I was pleased again when Hendrie affirmed a thought I had about Hoagland. Quote: "Bill Kaysing has good reason to believe that Hoagland is a shill working for NASA, who is trying to divert attention away from the fact that NASA never went to the moon." (p. 183)
The final half of the book turns toward the pervasive influence of Judaism throughout the world, including science. This was an unexpected twist, but it fits perfectly -- and, again, dovetails nicely with my research into the Holocaust, Zionism, false flags, etc.
The book's primary shortcoming is that it does not address the issue of satellites. I have been looking for a comprehensive text or video on this subject, but have not found one yet. So far, I have suggested this book to my dad and a friend, both of whom have said they will read it.
Alas, I very much wished to like this book, as it had promised to have "proof" that Earth is the shape the Bible claims it is: flat. The "proof" is, woe to us all, missing from the book. The book was published by GREAT MOUNTAIN PUBLISHING, which is owned by GREAT MOUNTAIN CHURCH, which has as its mission statement the mandate of believing the Bible and opposing "the Antichrist" (Donald Trump) as well as "Satan." That explains the motivation for the book.
The first thing one "learns" from reading the book is that all of the world's scientists for the past 2,800 years have been wrong about basic junior high school physics. This massive conspiracy includes Earth's shape, the nature of the Solar System (hint: it does not exist), and the nature of the universe (hint: it rotates around Earth).
One of the imaginary "proofs" the writer(s) include is the observed rotational speed of Earth: the genius thinks that Earth is spinning too fast for objects to stay on it. I have a suggestion for the writer(s): take a basket ball, go sit in a corner of the room with it, and rotate it 360 degrees in 24 hours, then tell us just how "fast" it was.
The rating is actually 0* but Goodreads won’t allow that. I always want to give a star for writing a book. This is not a book it’s a hate screed. Hendrie starts the rant with ananti-LGBT rant but he will go on to condemn Jews, Catholics, Free Masons, Atheists, and any Christian that doesn’t agree with him. This a toxic stew of science illiteracy and bigotry. The evidence for Flat Earth is Hendrie’s own ignorance. He utterly fails to even correctly describe the theories he is trying to tear down. He makes numerous errors such as claiming gravity has never been measured, or stellar parallax has never been observed when indeed these measurements were completed over 100 years ago. These are not small mistakes. His grasp of the history of science is equally terrible.
After doing a lot of research on NASA and their lies, and trying to convince a former friend that the moon landing was obviously faked she said to me 'you're not going to become a Flat-Earther now, are you?' To be honest, I hadn't put two and two together yet, but that is the very reason that NASA was created - to perpetuate the globular earth lie. This book goes over that, along with a lot of other things that we as rational human beings can observe for ourselves just by looking at the horizon, but somehow are taught differently by the school systems, and indoctrinated by birth from mobiles over our cribs. This book is not for the easily offended snowflakes, or those who don't believe in our Savior, Jesus Christ, because this book proves His existence - and that's why this information is suppressed and labeled with 'disinformation' boxes by Youtube and Google. We all know what that means by now.
I fell into this debate head first, as I love a good brain teaser. So I purchased this book as I was looking for a title to successfully tie together the history and science of the Flat Earth theory (if it was there to be found). There is a growing amount of published information to draw from and, hoping for some modern content, I opted for this more recently-published volume, instead of one of the traditional works.
To begin with, the book has not been well edited or formatted. There are multiple typos that immediately reduce the credibility of the author - whose back catalogue is already questionable enough for most readers. Hendrie spends much of the book laboring on religious scripture or repeatedly linking the Flat Earth theory to Satanic workship in some degree. For a topic that gives birth to many difficult-to-answer questions regarding the very basis of the model, there is very little dedicated to what might be considered scientific (by that I mean via measurable and repeatable observations).
I enjoyed some of the conjectural tie-ins between Freemasonry and the birth of heliocentrism, but I can't help but feel that this author has done more to discredit the Flat Earth theory than he has done to support it.
Perhaps this was intentional.
The author does make some intriguing points regarding perspective, lighthouses, and water-level but these are already well-referenced proponents of the theory. The author did not demonstrate breadth nor meaningful depth of knowledge to be truly persuasive of anything - especially as he continually sewed in passages from the Bible.
That is not to say the Bible should be ignored, however, but its contribution could have been reduced to a single, short chapter and remained no less effective. Whether or not the Earth really is "flat" (or not a globe), this will do nothing to help readers who rely on firmer evidence than simple regurgitation of information combined with religious scripture. I felt the author's overt religious stance held a bias on the book throughout which only weakened his arguments with rationally-minded readers.
Overall, the frustratingly-shoddy content and editing of the book make this a low-quality read. The author's argument would have had to be exceptional to be taken seriously by the end of what was an over-priced and wordy disappointment.
I wish I'd bought Rowbotham's Zetetic Astronomy instead.
"Christian schools have been hoodwinked into teaching heliocentrism, despite the clear teaching in the bible that the earth is not a spheroid does not move. This book reveals the evolution sources behind the heliocentric deception, and why scientists and the Christian churches have gone along with it." Back cover
This book is a classic. It appears that the author has determined that the bible states the earth is flat, doesn't move at all and is the centre of the universe. Much of the book is dedicated to trying to support this idea or defend it from anything that may threaten this view. I pity the librarian who has to work out into which library area this book should go. Classic sections. "Gravity is not supported by any scientific proof". p359. "It is not necessary that gravity be proven or even make sense, as long as it is propped up by a facade of experts called "scientists."..."It is pure heathenish, from the Jewish Kabalah. p364 "the hoax of Einstein's theory of relativity." p397 "Communism is essentially Talmudic Judaism" p409 "Heliocentrism, which theorizes that the earth orbits the sun as it also spins, is the seminalscientific theory from which all scientific deception flows" p467
Pretty much any group is accused of being deceived by, or being agents of Satan. Freemasons, Catholics and other Christian churches, Jews (especially the Jews), communists , NASA, astronauts, politicians, the CIA gets a mention, scientists, all versions of the bible with the exception of the King James translation, Google and Murdoch. 9/11 gets a look at as does Martin Luther King, Tesla, the UN flag, homosexualls, pilots and astronomy. I admit to not having checked the Endnotes/references. Hendrie appears to have put quite a bit of work into this although I have rarely found YouTube videos to provide reliable proof of anything and far more likely to be emotive rhetoric without substance. I also admit to only skip reading the book to read sections of interest, but why wouldn't you. Should also add I did not find the arguments by the author convincing nor the appreciated the tendency to attack the person or people with views that may be different to his.
In spite of some kvetching reviews, this book contains lots of valuable, generally hidden information and perspective. Pay attention long enough and you'll find such kvetching is almost always a signal of such.
There's so much new material in this expanded version that for the first 200 pages it feels like a totally different book. I appreciated the additions and new information as well as re-reading the information that was included in the original version.
While I enjoy Hendrie's straightforward writing style, I find that his arguments are sometimes repetitive in that he often restates the same idea with slightly different wording. But I wouldn't let that deter you from choosing to read this book if you'd like to understand the arguments for a flat earth and against a globe earth.
Also: This book is far-ranging in its subject matter. There are discussions of the Kabbalah's influence on modern astronomy, Martin Luther King, Jr., the JFK assassination, 9/11, etc. So if you like digging into conspiracy research, you'll enjoy this book.
One of the best book I ever read that is pointing out the lies, hypocrisy and the factual deceit that exists in our world. This book won't make any sense if you are not ready to listen ostensibly ludicrous claims. But if you keep an open mind you will find truth. "The lips of wisdom are closed except to the ears of understanding"
My son did a science fair project comparing the Big Bang and Creationism and some of the reading told of folk who believed the Earth was flat and didn't revolve around the sun. I didn't realize they still existed. A couple days later I came across this book in the Giveaways and thought "why not?" (Obviously I won it.)
I was surprised by how thought out the arguments were and appreciated the photographic evidence presented throughout. It didn't sway me to his side, but it did make me think. The whole thing fell apart when it started becoming about the Jewish-conspiracy with this and the secret of who really runs NASA and whatnot. Still, not as bad overall as one would think before reading it.
The was even better than the shorter version. Both Edward Hendrie and Eric Dubay have PROVEN that the earth is flat. The airlines know this, NASA knows this. Which means the days of NASA 20 Billion dollar annual budget is numbered. Eventually, flat earth will be taught in all the schools as proven. And future generations will hate NASA for lying so long.
Speaking as a devout Christo-pagan who believes that religion&science are happy bedfellows spreading both truth & lies,I think that this book is possibly a worthwhile read for comedy or humorous insight into the archaic thoughts of our ignorant ancestors but as for an educational source material , not worth the paper it's printed on much less the tree it took to make the paper !!! So in wrap up I have to quote the master"all scripture is worthy for teaching& REPROOF!"Which is why I give it 2 stars instead of none but with a warning "many shall come in my name but beware they are wolves in sheep's clothing!!!"
"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation." — Herbert Spencer
"If one answers a matter before he hears, it is folly and shame to him." — Proverbs 18:13 MKJV
While some early chapters are a bit redundant, this is among the best for those seeking an exhaustive resource on the topic of Biblical cosmology and true earth. The author has invested countless hours gathering a wealth of venerable information to inform and educate the serious student.
Undertaking a serious investigation of this topic however demands a mental fortitude rare in society; the ability to seriously and intellectually question "known facts," at the inevitable risk of ridicule and scorn is not a proficiency many possess. Congratulations if you do!
"By turning earth into a spinning ball, thrown around the Sun, shot into infinite space from a God-less big bang, they turned humanity into a random meaningless, purposeless accident of a blind dumb universe." p. 669
"To misunderstand God’s creation causes a concomitant misunderstanding of the characteristics of God. God has shown man his character through his creation. If man has a misunderstanding of God’s creation, he will have a misunderstanding of who God really is." p. 789
"The opposition to the flat earth is born of fear. That fear emanates from a carefully contrived brainwashing scheme that has conditioned men to have a visceral opposition to the flat earth." p. 831
Unfortunately the author chose to venture away from the core study to inject his personal faith beliefs to which I feel compelled to comment:
In chapter 42 Hendrie reveals his belief in Calvinism. For those unfamiliar, Calvinism essentially affirms that one has no freewill to either accept or reject salvation, the ultimate choice has been predestined and is irresistible.
This doctrine is readily rejected by those who understand the purpose of God's creation of man as volitional being. Predestination is both as illogical and unloving as it would be for a just and loving God. Creating a person who is predestined for eternal destruction would be the epitome of injustice. So too would "forcing" a person to serve God.
Calvinism is easily refuted by applying simple logic in the reading of just a few sufficient verses that follow (capitalization for emphasis):
“But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then CHOOSE FOR YOURSELVES this day whom you will serve…” Joshua 24:15 BSB — “I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore CHOOSE LIFE, so that you and your descendants may live,” Deuteronomy 30:19 BSB — For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him, for, “EVERYONE who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:12-13 BSB — “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting ANYONE to perish but EVERYONE to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 BSB
In chapter 43 the author also claims that saying the Bible is inerrant in "all the original autographs" is "playing a game," and essentially making it so that "there is no inerrant word of God that is factually true to which one can point" because none of the original manuscript still exists. But he then quotes verses that declare God will preserve His words forever.
But it is true that ONLY the divinely inspired words from God as originally delivered are inerrant. One only needs to explore the older and modern translations to realize the many disagreements in interpretation and sometimes biased translation among them. But God has certainly preserved the essential truths for those with a heart for them.
The author is also a KJV only proponent, but the AV is not "authorized" by God Himself, but rather by a select group of men. For those wishing to explore the issue of error in translation watch "Texts and Translations" - by Joel Hemphill, https://youtu.be/r2sIwBd2BbE
The last comment I will make is on Hendrie's unBiblical belief that Jesus is the Creator (that Jesus is God). While this is the popularly accepted doctrine of the modern "church," it was not always the case and is clearly refuted by the plain reading of the Bible absent personal eisegesis (reading INTO the Scripture ones firmly held dogma).
The matter of salvation is far too important to use inference or implication to communicate what is required. God does not infer, He says what He says, clearly and unambiguously.
Without filtering it through any doctrinal viewpoint, read the following verses and apply only the plain understanding of what is written:
“Jesus spoke these words and lifted up His eyes to Heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son so that Your Son also may glorify You, even as You have GIVEN Him authority over all flesh so that He should give eternal life to all You have given Him. And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the ONLY true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:1-3 MKJV
“For there is one God, one mediator also BETWEEN God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus,” 1 Timothy 2:5 ASV … “Now a mediator is not a mediator of one; but God is one.” Galatians 3:20 ASV
Jesus speaking, “He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of MY God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY God, and mine own new name.” Revelation 3:12 ASV Can God also have a God?

This book was amazing, just as the 5 stars say. While I believe the author got a little sidetracked from time to time and fell a little off topic, the book in its entirety is a reference unto itself. I probably have more topic tabs, highlight, and notes in this one book than any other that I have here on my reading list per capita.
Hendrie did a marvelous job of describing the cause and effect of the conspiracies and was also able to tie them all in together in a way that will leave little doubt as to its authenticity.
It's important to remember one verse he uses toward the end of his book and one that I have used since I began yo understand the truth behind the world of lies in which we live" Proverbs 18:13
Also remember that at one point, everyone was a just a "conspiracy theorist" until someone else came along later and proved them to be right. The so-called "theorists" today are the only ones providing any proof of their claims, while their retractors respond with schoolyard tactics of name-calling and other bullying approaches. No one ever adequately refutes any evidence.
The problem with most Believers and people in general today is that they look to everyone else as being foolish enough to be duped by Satan but their vanity absolutely forbids the allowance that they themselves might also be capable of being duped in any way small and great.
Very good book with good proofs. I feel like the last third of the book could have been cut and incorporated into another book, but I'm not hating on it too much because it's extremely based and it does kind of prove his thesis, even if it is a bit long-winded.
Complete garbage start to finish and EXTREMELY racist and antisemitic. The author spends more time spewing antisemitism than they do proving the earth is flat(it isn’t btw)
The last third of the book is certainly not for Catholics. It started off really engrossing and very engaging. There were a lot of practical points made in regard to the flat earth theory, backed up by empirical evidence such as photographs and trigonometrical solutions. Then, it delved into the wider global conspiracy involving the Kabbalistic Jews, the Masons, and their connections to NASA. Again, a lot of good points were made about the faked moon landings, the motivations behind doing so, the persistence of NASA in their continued deceptions of the ISS and CGI space images. Then it got into the Kabbalah, and the interesting connections between Kabbalistic cosmology and its parity with the ideas of modern "science". But, eventually, it fell off of the deep end. In an effort to explain the propaganda and psy-ops perpetrated on the unsuspecting American public, the author spends a long chapter going over the supposed 9/11 attacks and the Kennedy assassination in an effort to string them together to the wider conspiracy. I felt this was unnecessary. Then, as I expected since this comes from an apostate Catholic, the attacks on the Roman Catholic Church took up the remaining chapters of the book. Postulations ranging from Catholicism being a gnostic-Kabbalistic perversion of Christianity, the whore of Babylon (arguably applicable to what calls itself the Catholic Church today), to the Jesuits being crypto-Jews and violent, moustache-twirling villains driving the Vatican behind the scenes. Any possible Protestant grievance one could drum up about the Church is there in a neat package. Again, it seemed like a long tangent from the initial subject of the flat earth conspiracy, more or less serving as a means to serve the author's personal vendetta against Catholicism rather than provide direct relevance to the topic at hand. Overall, I would read maybe the first 37 chapters of the book if you're interested in flat earth. And skim or skip the sections pertaining to the author's own (flawed) Biblical exegesis (he condemns other for having the "wrong" idea about God because of flat earth, but then turns around an anthropomorphizes God), and his blasphemous attack on Catholicism. Had the author not gone off on these tangents and stuck to supporting the flat earth position, it would have been a 4-5 star book.
