If you're interested in Quebec history, specifically on the Quiet Revolution and its impact on English Quebeckers, read this. It's a book to read and reread as the language is simple, direct, informed, and pertinent even now, 36 years after publication of this, its 2nd edition.

I'm only half-way through this book but it is providing me with an excellent historical review of French-English relations in Quebec... The three-star rating provoke me into giving the book five stars.

confirms some of my experiences as an immigrant to Canada. surprisingly balanced (i was expecting full-on pro-English).
