This is one of those perfect love stories that pull you in and make you a believer in happily ever afters and fairytales. Toby and Willow's story is what true love is all about. Romantic. Consuming. Perfection.

What a wonderful addition to the Leaves of a Maple Series! Toby was the friend who was always there but somehow blended into the background. It was almost as if he’d had his happy ending before the series started with Archer. I’m so glad Toby and Willow got to share their story in print.
My thoughts are drawn to the age old saying “it takes a village to raise a child.” Carnation is a tight knit community and Toby thinks that his parents actions will leave a black mark on him. Families come in all shapes and sizes, you can be born into one, hand chosen or protected and raised by one. Archer’s mother Janie is more maternal to Toby than his own ever will be. With the guidance of Bennett’s dads Adam & Will he learns unconditional love.
When things seem to be almost at rock bottom, Willow blows into Toby’s life like a breath of fresh air. It’s insta love for them at the mere age of sixteen and you’d be excused for thinking it’s just puppy love. Toby is enamoured by his soul mate, whilst Willow believes that the energy pulling them together comes from their previous life encounters. Willow sees the beautiful, battered heart in Toby’s eyes and he sees his muse with a chance to create his once in a lifetime masterpiece.

Haley Jenner have a writing style like no other. The passion, romance, and depth they convey in their books are a step above most others. They write the best romance. It grips you from the beginning and then you don’t want to let go at the end. This family of misfits lives in my heart. As if I really do know them.
This book shows the best of a soul mate match. Love at first site and then through the years. It is the best of a lifetime love and a book you do not want to pass up. Before its over Toby and Willow will grab your heart and won’t let go.

This story was one of Epic Love. Not just the love of Toby and Willow but of all the people who make up their family. The people who you want as family, DNA or not. I can’t tell you how many times I cried reading this book. It’s so overwhelmingly filled with love my heart was bursting. I don’t know how the authors, Haley Jenner, do it but they gifted the reader something very magical.
Toby wasn’t a character I expected to feel so much for. I underestimated the connection Willow had to him and the gang. Now I know better. I can’t recommend this story enough. Epic love, a true HEA.

Today Yesterday and forever I will love Haley and Jenna's amazing storytelling abilities that draw us right into the depths of her wonderful characters. I just loved the chapter headings though out the book it had me chuckling at times. If you have read any of the Leaves of Maple books you, like myself, may already have a sweet spot for Toby and this book will only heighten those feeling in this epic love story. This book is captivating and full of pain, consuming love, friendship, raw emotions, perfection, joy, unconditional love, pure innocence and the ultimate ability to make your own family with the ones you love and care for you. If you have not read this series or this author I eagre you to do so as I am sure you will be like me and many others that can’t get enough of their great stories with sexy and inspirational characters that struggle but succeed in their lives and in love.
Toby Matthews is a boy with missing dream and love, who has tried his best to give himself a better start in life than the physical, mental and emotional abuse he received from his parents. He is unaware of the love and friendship he gives out to his friends as he only sees himself as unworthy of love himself, but he knows in his future he will have the love that he so desperately needs and wants. The wait may just be over when one day of school he walks into his art classroom to work on his painting and meets his teacher's daughter Willow.

It was wonderful to read a romance where there was no breakup and heartache between the two main characters. But this is not a boring or uneventful story as it’s full of life's dramas and emotional growth of the whole group in the Leaves of a Maple series.

I got given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
This book was EVERYTHING. I have never read a love story so profound, so beautiful and encompassing before. It was a story that will stay with me forever. It's about soul mates, trust, devotion and love so rare and pure my heart ached the whole way through.
I wonder how many people have experienced that overwhelming, all consuming passion, love and instant connection to a person they just laid their eyes on, to feel as if you have just been re-connected with the other piece of your soul. I think this would be an extremely rare occurrence, something that would make others laugh and say “as if” at even the thought…
But That's exactly what happened with Toby Matthews and Willow Thompson. At the tender age of 16 they laid eyes on each other at Toby’s art classroom in the presence of Willows dad who is also Toby’s art teacher. It was love at first sight... for them both.
I don't know where to even begin with Toby... he is my new hero and ultimate book boyfriend. I mean what’s not to love about this guy. He is so achingly beautiful on the outside but not even his looks can hold a candle to what lies inside his extraordinary heart. Most kids who have been beaten down, unloved, physically, mentally and emotionally abused by the people who are meant to love and protect them the most would have a rightfully bad attitude at the world and everyone they come across. They would treat people the way they have been so badly treated themselves. But not Toby, He has a cracked heart so big from the scum that are meant to be his parents but has such an unlimited ability to love unconditionally to those he is closest too. He’s sweet, kind, caring, emotional, reliable, passionate, intense but also funny and is an extremely talented artist.
Willow Is perfect girlfriend material, she has such a beautiful heart, its been able to flourish without any cracks like Toby due to her amazing, loving parents. She sees the beauty in people that goes way beyond looks so when she first lays eyes on Toby and sees the Handsome boy he is on the outside, its what she sees on the inside that makes her fall instantly in love. It's like their souls called out to one another, like they have been together in all their previous lives, only this time they came together at the young age of 16.
She is stunning but her heart is also what makes her even more beautiful. She’s a real sweetheart but has the ability to speak out against anyone who hurts the people she loves. She is fiercely protective , funny, and is loved by everyone, they all see how perfect she is for Toby and are so happy he can finally have some good in his life.
A conversation between Toby and Willow was on their first coffee date and I swooned so hard. I was so happy for Toby. He was finally getting what he always deserved. LOVE …

Bravo to the Authors, I absolutely loved this book, every page, every word written has a permanent place in my heart and will treasure it forever. It deserves more than five stars.

I absolutely LOVE Haley Jenner. The two of them are amazing people and outstanding writers. I didn't know what to expect with Toby. I didn't think he really needed a story, though I always wanted to know how he and Willow got together.
This story was absolute perfection.
It was light, airy, and just so damn sweet that I got a cavity just from reading the book.

The story of Willow and Toby has got to be one of my favorites of all time. Their beginning, middle, and end is something to be jealous of. Something to write home about. It's everything I want my love, whenever I find it, to be. Their love is so all-consuming that you can't help but smile while reading this book.

It's then that I vow to never wash my forehead, determined that kiss is one I'm keeping forever. Stepping back, he pulls a pen from his backpack, picking up my hand to scribble his number on my skin in invitation. Stuffing the used pen in his pocket, his fingers lace with mine, pulling our entwined hands to his lips to offer the same soft kiss my forehead was gifted only moments prior. Another part of my body to never be washed, to ensure I keep his kisses on me until the end of time. If for no other reason than to let me recall them when I move into the next life searching for him once again."

What do you say when you‘re so overwhelmed by a book that it leaves you speechless. I have been trying to come up with the right words for days. I still don’t think I’m going to do it justice. I have been waiting for Toby’s story since I fell hard for his charismatic charm in Archer the first of the Maple Men series.
This is a sensationally written, heartwarming story of a relationship between two beautiful souls destined to be united from a very young age. My gorgeous hippy boy, the tortured artist and Willow the light to his nightmares.
Relationships being the key word to describing this book, it was built on so many, the good and the ugly. We meet so many of our favourite characters from the series it’s like being home. We were also introduced to new ones as Willow’s story unfolds. Haley Jenner have a phenomenal way of writing, so visual on all levels, everyone needs to enjoy the experience. He is going to make you swoon, cry and smile like a loon. Told in a dual POV no truer words were spoken from Willow.
“It’d be easy to offer up your heart to this boy, to fall in love the way people driven wild with lust describe it, head-over-heels. Gifting every last inch of your body, heart, soul, and mind to the promise of the way this boy would love you back.”

Toby was a wonderful person. He had been dealt a really crappy hand at life, his mother was artistic but she traded that in for drugs, his dad was an alcoholic who would never hesitate to beat Toby just for breathing. His amazing friends and their parents treated him like family, took him in, cared for him, and showed him love. Toby always tried to look on the positive side of life even with having to deal with the things he did. He just knew something would come along and change his life for the better. Enter Willow, she's the daughter of the art teacher who believed in Toby's abilities and she is the one who brought the light to his darkness. They fell at first sight. She was his and he was hers. They never wavered on it at all. Their love was true, beautiful, epic, and one to be remembered. This beautiful man with a heart of gold found his light and he held on to her with all he had.

This one of those perfect love stories. There were each other's firsts and only. Never separated...just all around no unnecessary drama love.
Toby was a sweet guy and Willow was just as sweet to him. Their story was nice and sweet spanning approximately 15 years.
If you like angst this is not the book for you. There is a little at the beginning with Toby's worthless abusive parents, but then he leaves that life behind. *TRIGGER FOR SOME (Toby's dad hits him, then kicks him out).
*** This is probably the only book I will read by this author; the secondary characters in this book are manwhores and seeing as they are the heroes in her other books, I will gladly pass.***

God I love how these babes can tie together all the other stories! Again another epic love story but one without the angst and just the insane amount of love not only felt between Toby and willow but for the extended family I wish were real! This book got me in allllll the feels and It was so amazing to read perspectives from other characters about moments from the last books. Love getting my archer fix. Wholey hell this couple is HOT, epic love story with steamy scenes yes please!! This book ties this series together so beautifully. I love how none of these books feel repeated just intertwined! Love love love a story I didn’t realize was missing but now can’t live without

If you have read the Leaves of a Maple series, Toby & Willow have always been the steady couple. They are the ones that all of the other couples turn to and Toby has been the backbone of his group of friends. Now, we finally get to see the true story of Toby and Willow and how they came to be. I love that there wasn't the typical break-ups and heartbreak that most couples in romances suffer through before their HEA. Instead, this is a true never-ending love story from beginning to end. Absolutely love this series by Haley Jenner.

I am trying to find the words to express how much I loved this book (and the series). Toby and Willow’s love story is epic. The emotion you feel reading this book is so strong. Everybody wants a love story like it. It’s pure love, raw, emotional and so good.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, please, please take the time to read this book, you’ll fall in love with Toby and Willow. If you haven’t already read the whole series, do it and fall for the Men of the Leaves of Maple Series

Oh my poor heart. Poor Toby what an upbringing to have. I found it difficult to read the gut wrenching parts but as always things turned out beautifully in the end. Toby and Willow meant to be Today, yesterday and forever

I knew straight away this was going to be an epic love story and I was correct. Everybody needs a Toby in their Life and everyone needs to be loved hard by a Willow too. It was by far my favourite book in the series.
Bravo to the Authors, I absolutely loved this book, every page, every word written has a permanent place in my heart and will treasure it forever. It deserves more than five stars.
This book was EVERYTHING. I have never read a love story so profound, so beautiful and encompassing before. It was a story that will stay with me forever. It's about soul mates, trust, devotion and love so rare and pure my heart ached the whole way through.
I wonder how many people have experienced that overwhelming, all consuming passion, love and instant connection to a person they just laid their eyes on, to feel as if you have just been re-connected with the other piece of your soul. I think this would be an extremely rare occurrence, something that would make others laugh and say “as if” at even the thought…
But That's exactly what happened with Toby Matthews and Willow Thompson. At the tender age of 16 they laid eyes on each other at Toby’s art classroom in the presence of Willows dad who is also Toby’s art teacher. It was love at first sight... for them both.
I don't know where to even begin with Toby... he is my new hero and ultimate book boyfriend. I mean what’s not to love about this guy. He is so achingly beautiful on the outside but not even his looks can hold a candle to what lies inside his extraordinary heart. Most kids who have been beaten down, unloved, physically, mentally and emotionally abused by the people who are meant to love and protect them the most would have a rightfully bad attitude at the world and everyone they come across. They would treat people the way they have been so badly treated themselves. But not Toby, He has a cracked heart so big from the scum that are meant to be his parents but has such an unlimited ability to love unconditionally to those he is closest too. He’s sweet, kind, caring, emotional, reliable, passionate, intense but also funny and is an extremely talented artist.
Willow Is perfect girlfriend material, she has such a beautiful heart, its been able to flourish without any cracks like Toby due to her amazing, loving parents. She sees the beauty in people that goes way beyond looks so when she first lays eyes on Toby and sees the Handsome boy he is on the outside, it’s what she sees on the inside that makes her fall instantly in love. It's like their souls called out to one another, like they have been together in all their previous lives, only this time they came together at the young age of 16.
She is stunning but her heart is also what makes her even more beautiful. She’s a real sweetheart but has the ability to speak out against anyone who hurts the people she loves. She is fiercely protective, funny, and is loved by everyone, they all see how perfect she is for Toby and are so happy he can finally have some good in his life.
A conversation between Toby and Willow was on their first coffee date and I swooned so hard. I was so happy for Toby. He was finally getting what he always deserved. LOVE …

From the beginning of this amazing series, Toby and Willow have been in the background. It was always apparent that they had a love story that was proof that love and happily ever afters existed. Yet, I always wanted more about them. I felt that they deserved a full story because even though I loved them, I really wanted to LOVE them. Well, this author duo must have heard my wish, and said, "hold my beer, because we are going to give you a love story that will knock your socks off." And, knock my socks off they did.
This story packs a punch. The complexity and depth in the story were heartbreaking as well as heartwarming. These two characters are truly sublime. Toby. Sweet lord, he truly was the glue that kept them all together. He is proof that it truly is nurture not nature that can create a man. As an adopted child I often wondered if I too was doomed by the traits that ran through my blood. It took years for me to grasp the fact that I am who I am because it is what I deemed I wanted to be, plus a little help from friends and "family" along the way. However, Seeing Toby, yeah he was a gentle reminder that sometimes magic works in spectacular ways. And Willow, my favorite of the characters. Her steadfast devotion. her unconditional love and her genuine appreciation for all things truly made her perfect.
I am sad to see this series end. I am sad to see these characters be "done". However, this book tied the series up in a pretty bow, had an amazing epilogue with my favorite characters, and gave me a chance to see that happily ever afters were had by all.

Haley Jenner blows my mind... Every. Single. Time. With each page I fell even more in love. I knew Toby would steal my heart because I’ve loved him as a side character throughout this series. I’m not sure I was prepared for how much I’d love him. He could’ve been a broken, hard hearted soul...but he was the opposite. He smiled when he shouldn’t have been able to. He kept a positive attitude through everything. He gave me hope for love and renewed my faith in people.

I will admit that I was sad to see this series end. What a great way to end though! Toby your story broke me and made me believe that you can overcome anything if you are surrounded by caring and loving people.
Blood does not always define family and this story is a testament to that and I loved how the theme was portrayed throughout the story. Sure Toby was plagued with moments of self doubt and wanting to have the ''perfect" family but he knew in his case that wasn't possible so he decided to put his focus else where; his art and his friends easily became his outlet that later provided the support and love he lacked at home.
Willow, Toby's true constant even at an early age became his reason for wanting to be better; only to realise he didn't have prove anything because she loved him for his heart and their love is an example that it can and does conquer all.
Haley Jenner's writing is beautiful she taps into the character's emotions and transports the reader into the world she has created. If you a looking for a feel good story that is full of wonderful characters, great dialogue; than this book/ series is for you.

A wonderful tale of epic love, the story of Toby and Willow’s relationship was everything and more I thought it would be. My heart went out to Toby when it came to his 'blood' parents I wouldn’t even go as far as saying they were family, Toby’s family were those he chose well you could also say they chose him. After meeting Willow at sixteen and declaring she’d be his wife one day I’d say things really started to change for Toby in the best way possible for starters she returned his feelings the bond they shared was incredible and over the years it just kept going from strength to strength, in ways Toby suffered from abandonment issues and Willow helped him see just how loved and wanted he was not only by her but the rest of the Carnation gang who loved him unconditionally as their own. Five amazing stars out of five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Okay. Toby and Willow's story is so much more than I expected. I was very curious to read more about the beloved couple in the Leaves of a Maple books, but I sure wasn't expecting my heart to get damn near obliterated in the process! Toby, our happy-go-lucky, smartass, beautifully artistic, broken hippie is fucking one of the most cherishable characters I've ever read. To come from such an awful home and to still have such a hopeful outlook on the future...SOBBING! And you know what else is sob-worthy? The REAL family that he has in his best friends and their parents. The way that they all fight for him is so incredibly meaningful and it hit me hard, right in the feels. This man deserves nothing but the best and Willow Thompson and her family are that for him. Willow is the repellent to the darkness that could swallow Toby so easily. She's most definitely a forever keeper. I love their love times infinity.
It was everything to read how Toby and Willow's relationship started and grew. It was everything to read about Toby's friendships and the love that he received through them, as well as the way they all navigated painful times together. This story and the laughs, the steam, the freaking heart...was everything. Many more than 5 stars deserved for this exceptional little story that felt anything but little.

Who hasn’t loved Toby and Willow ever since they met them in Archer’s book?? We finally get to see how they met, got married and had babies. And I loved every second of it in spite of myself. Not sure what I was expecting as I’m really not into high school love stories. But, as I was reading, seeing the progression of their love and relationship, as well as witnessing the other characters’ stories from their points of view, I fell in love with everybody all over again. When Toby spoke to Willow for the first time and said “I’m going to marry you someday, Willow Thompson”, my heart melted. Just freakin melted! Read this book/series. You won’t regret it :)

This book is everything
There are books you read and enjoy. And then there are books you read and devour. The Kind that make you want to crawl into the pages and become a part of the characters’ life’s. This is that book. Let me tell you this, Toby puts all other book boyfriends to shame. 😂🥰. The love between Toby and Willow is beautiful. There are so many sweet moments, heated moments, and laugh out loud moments in-this book. I knew Toby’s story was going to be amazing and Haley Jenner did not disappoint. We a glimpse of the whole Leaves of Maples gang too .

Toby is the epitome of almost every girls dream come true. And Willow is the goodness he knew would come. Wow! I love every single man Hailey Jenner has brought to life! Toby is no exception. His sweetness knows no bounds. He paints his heart then still pours out in words and sees what he has left to give. Any and every one in his life is so lucky to be there. And Willow is just as special in her way. Together they have a “Notebook” worthy love, a love that stands the rest of time and lives also.

Things are very rarely as they appear.
Throughout the Leaves of a Maple series Toby seems almost too laid back. Easy going Toby, nothing ever affected him.
Within the first two pages of Toby's own story it is apparent that easy going Toby is the lie he'd like everyone to believe.
I think he and Willow are perfect from day one. They both knew exactly how much was at stake for a successful life, and I'm glad Willow didn't let him quit.
I love them both, this was the perfect way to show the end and beginning for this chosen family.

This is a beautiful love story, very emotional throughout the book. Showcased emotions not only between H and h but also between friends and their families. Author has surprised me with the way she has written some of the emotional scenes in this book since I haven't seen much of them in the book "Archer". The scenes in this move you, touch you and make you cry. Loved it! Only small complaint is that I wish it had more interactions between the characters than the descriptions of their internal feelings.

I devour this read, because it was that damn good, l wouldn’t expect anything else from these fabulous authors l love their work! I am so glad Haley and Jenner gave us Willow & Toby's beautiful love story, it's a love we all want in our lives! Chapter 12 was my favorite couldn’t see the words through my tears! #ForeverSouls

Heartwarming
I loved this sweet story. Toby is a wonderful soul who had a difficult life but always seemed to find a silver lining. He met his soulmate at 16 and their love grew as he learned family can be chosen rather than blood. This is an amazing story that will warm your heart.

Loved all the books in this series
Thoroughly, enjoyed reading all these books from Archer to Toby they’ve all been a rollercoaster of romance. Any of the books in the leaves of Maple series are worth a read. Hoping for more.
