Carol Marinelli was born in England to Scottish parents, then emigrated to Australia, where there are loads of Scottish and English people who did exactly the same, so she’s very at home there.

She lives in the outer suburbs of Melbourne—pretty much in her car, driving her three children to their various commitments.

Carol writes for the Harlequin Presents and Medical lines and she also writes contemporary women's fiction (with a dark twist).
When she's not writing she's reading, when she's not reading she's writing.

Divorced, trauma nurse Cheryl comes to a Texan coastal town as part of a hurricane relief and rescue team.

Hero, Noah, is a vet in that town. The entire town is preparing for evacuations and hurricane damage control.

Our lady get marooned with the hero for a night after his daring rescue of her car. Within a few hours of knowing each other, they tumble into bed. The sexual is just too much to resist you see. Especially when there is a life threatening storm raging outside. And our nurse lady has a bout of temporary amnesia !!!

Morning after, there is a valiant rescue attempt that both of them handle. Save lives through surgery. By then her memory is back, and she remembers her bad first marriage. So this time she wants to have her own space. Not just fit into his life.

She forces herself to leave. Both are unhappy apart. He decides, if she cant abandon her life for me, let me do it for her. And lands up at her doorstep. Now she is convinced that he is the answer to all her prayers and god's gift to lonely women !!! HEA.
