This was a powerful story about family and second chances and bring a family back together for the love of a child.
Tara and Sam must put their separation aside when their daughter Marley has an accident which has left her forgetting a year of her young life. As they come together to bring her back to the present, they must live together under the same roof again and try to put the past behind them because the passion and love they have for one another can not be put aside. As Marely slowly comes back to the present can Sam and Tara build a future together with their child and put the past behind them.

Jules Bennett always gives her readers a heartwarming and emotional story to read and For Their Child's Sake is no exception. When you have a young child, a big affection canine and love of family, you just know this book is going to be a wonderful read. I hope Jules brings us back again to Stonerock, where love and family always resides.
Thank you Jules for the chance to read this wonderful story to review.

This is a nice reunion story about Sam Bailey and Tara and her daughter Marley. After an accident at work, Sam became addicted to pain medication and it destroyed his marriage. It's a year since Tara kicked him out and now Marley's had an accident, just as they are on the verge of finalising the divorce.

Marley has retrograde amnesia, losing the memories from the last year of her life, the period in which her adopted daddy has been absent, rebuilding his life and recovering from his addiction.

For the sake of Marley, Sam and Tara have to put aside the past and pretend that everything is fine. Not an easy task when Tara can't forgive or forget what he put them through.

Forced together, the couple have to make things work and it gives them much need time to to talk.

Overall this was a very sweet romance dealing with some hard issues. Sam was a nice guy, blindsided by an addiction he didn't see coming. Tara had her own problems and I would have liked to see a little more, so we could understand her attitude better. At times I found her stubborness irritating which stopped me giving another star.

For Their Child’s Sake is third book on Jules Bennett’s Return to Stonerock series. This book dealt with several serious topics: Addiction and amnesia.

Sam Bailey has never stopped loving his wife and his daughter, Marley. When Marley is involved in a freak accident, he discovers a way to rekindle the love he’s never given up on and at the same time help his daughter recover. While Tara his wife remembers all to well what his addiction has done to her family, she agrees to allow him back into their home to help their daughter recover from amnesia.

I enjoyed every minute of this book. From watching Sam deal with his painful past and seeking to redeem himself in Tara’s eyes to seeing if Tara will trust in their love and give him a second chance. Will Tara forgive Sam and find a way to love him again? Will Marley recover her memory and will Sam find a way back to his family?

For Their Child’s Sake is a heartwarming read that I highly recommend. I’d like to disclose that I received an advance copy of this book that I voluntarily chose to read and review. This is my honest opinion.

Sam and Tara have fought the good fight to keep their marriage together. Over a year ago Tara had enough and told Sam he couldn’t come home anymore. His addiction had destroyed their family and she had to protect their child. Sam walked away and into rehab and now wants his family back.

Tara never stopped loving Sam but that doesn’t mean she is ready to just give in and let him back home again. When a playground accident forces them back together again, as a family, will she be able to hold strong to her convictions?

Sam has been waiting for an opportunity to prove to Tara that he is a changed man. Moving back into the house with his 2 favorite girls is just that moment. He will do whatever it takes to prove he is now able to take care of his family the way he should have been all along.

Sam, Tara and Marley navigate their new normal, while trying to put all the pieces of their family back together again. Return to Stonerock in this powerful story that addresses current day situations like addiction and amnesia. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy, all opinions expressed are my own. Return to Stonerock with this family working on their second chance.

For Their Child's Sake is the final in the Return to Stonerock series but can also be read as a stand alone story. This is a wonderfully written, emotionally charged story of the lengths a parent will go to protect their child. This is also a story of tough love, redemption, and the second chance to redeem a true love lost. After being kicked out of his home and marriage, Sam entered rehab and is now clean and trying to repair the damages he as done to his family. Tara had to make a tough decision and is now scared of Sam having a relapse but must pretend everything is okay to help her daughter heal. The story that follows is filled with a gamut of emotions that will have the reader fully involved in the storyline.

I received an advanced reader copy but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

The h is supposed to be a counselor and has worked with other addict but she has these unreasonable expectations of turning back time and having the H be perfect again. Either they make a choice to go forward with new house rules or they split but comparing him with his own past perfect self doesn't make any sense for an experienced counsellor. The only brave thing the h did was draw a line and throw him out when he was not seeking help but apart from that one action (which again happened in the past before the story begins). Apart from that past incident, she doesn't show any other acts of bravery except moan and whine. You need multiple platters of cheese to go with all her whining. The plot itself is different with the child losing her memory rather than an adult and dealing with H's addiction.

An emotional book that will tug at your heart strings from the very first page. The story of Sam who lost his wife Tara and her daughter Marley a year ago do to an addiction he had. He has fought to make himself better and to get back the family he misses. When Marley is hurt they are forced to come together as a family because of her injury! Tara doesn't want Sam back in her life. She doesn't trust him or his word. But the more they are together the closer they become. Sam is trying to make up for his mistakes. Can Tara ever learn to trust him again? This book was one that I wish had not ended. It was so wonderful! It reminds you that everyone has struggles in their lives but with persistence and faith they can over come those. A must read!

For Their Child’s Sake is a wonderful second-chance love story, written by the wonderful romance author Jules Bennett. This story is about addiction, medical conditions, heartbreak, trust, and love…
Sam has overcome a prescription pill addiction, but not after Tara has already decided it had gone too far and she wanted a divorce. After a playground accident, they both agree that their daughter Marley must come first…even if that means allowing Sam back in the house.

This story is another very well written book by Jules Bennett, with great characters (Sam, Tara, and their daughter, Marley) and the storyline is smooth and perfectly progressive. I really enjoy Jules Bennett’s writing style! This is easy to read and very enjoyable! I would definitely recommend it with 4.5 stars!

3.5 stars for this poignant reunion romance between Sam and Tara. Sam was kicked out when he wouldn't get help for a pill addiction, but now he and Tara must act like the loving couple they once were to help their daughter who suffered a head trauma and lost some memories. Sam is clean now and working hard and wants to reunite with his wife and this gives him the perfect opportunity.

The emotions in this book are raw and honest and I love the interactions between all of our characters. I especially love the intro of Daisy the St. Bernard.

This book will tug at your heartstrings. Thanks to the author for a review copy.

Sam and Tara's story has so many different emotions in it. I couldn't get enough of this book! I love how Sam will do whatever it takes to get his family back. Sam and Tara's daughter Marley has an accident that brings there family back together. But Tara isn't ready to trust Sam just yet. But Sam will not give up on his family. He will do whatever it takes this time to fix it. Jules really nailed it with how addiction can mess everything up and how easy it is to become addicted. This book hits really close to home for me. I lost my mother at a young age to drugs. Jules books are always amazing thank you for being such an awesome author!

Sam Bailey lost everything to a drug addiction from pain pills he didn't see coming. Now clean and sober and working at being his best again his daughter needs him. He's vowed to be there for his estranged wife and daughter. He's going to do just that. Even if he can't get his wife back he's going to do whatever it takes to make them feel safe. This was a at times heartbreaking book about getting your life back and being a family again. Sam and Tara have some serious trust issues to deal with while helping their daughter recover her memory. If family drama is your thing this is your book with a little cuteness thrown in too.

“For Their Child’s Sake” by Jules Bennett is book three of her Return to Stonerock series and is a second chance romance featuring Sam and Tara Bailey.

When their daughter, Marley, takes a tumble and suffers from partial amnesia, Sam and Tara have to pretend the past year of their lives hasn’t happened. Which means Sam will have a chance to prove he isn’t the same man he was before and Tara has to decide if she can risk loving him again.

“For Their Child’s Sake” deals with addiction that, in today’s world, a lot people have either gone through or know someone who has and, because of the subject matter, can make this book difficult to read at times.

I’d have to say that this story about Sam & Tara is without a doubt the epitome of second chance possibilities realized within a marriage ... truly broken . It’s a story about faith , hope , love & forgiveness... factor in inevitable undeniable chemistry & passion and this makes for a heartwarming beach read with an epilogue that’s SO WELL deserved after a grueling tug of war of emotions for this lovely family of three ❤️

So many emotions when reading this book! I loved it from the beginning. Tara and Sam are separated. He had an addiction to pills and Tara kicked him out. Their daughter (his adopted) Marley has had a head trauma where she’s lost some of her memory. Sam returns to their home to reduce her stress until her memories return. This story is about change, forgiveness, trust and love! I loved when Sam revealed what his tattoo was. I love how he called her Marmaid because she loved mermaids. I really loved Daisy! The ending was perfection.

Different story than most.

I loved the freshness of this story. Sam had an addiction that cost him his family. Tara had to draw a hard line in the sand to get Sam to really see he needed help. Fast forward a year and now they have to keep up a front of being a happy family for their child. This has a ton of ups and downs, some want to shake the characters moments, and some relations that, in some instances were too fast in coming (which I understood).

All in all a wonderful story.

This was such an emotional book that tugged at my heart from beginning to end. Sam has never stopped loving his wife & daughter but lost them due to choices he made. Since then he has worked very hard to change his life. However when their daughter gets hurt & needs help he does all he can to help her. His wife doesn't trust him but he does all he can to show her how he has changed and still cares.

Sam and Tara’s story was a sweet one. Sam’s addiction tore them apart and it took something happening to their daughter to bring them back together. Sam has already turned his life around, but Tara wasn’t ready to trust him. Their daughter’s accident was the thing that brought them back from the brink of divorce. This book was an easy read and I enjoyed it.

This is a book that you won't want to put down so grab your snacks and some tissues because you will want to cry, cheer, laugh and go through every emotion with this book! It's about second chances, a big slobbery dog named Daisy that you can just see in your mind how loveable she is and a sweet little girl with a big heart. LOVED this book and I was rooting for Sam and Tara from the beginning.

Getting their family back!

I found this book to be an emotional read. Sam has decided to do whatever he can to get his family back after his life goes off the rails from an unexpected addiction to drugs. But Sam’s wife Tara is not ready to trust Sam even though he refuses to give up on them. When their daughter Marley is in a accident, Sam and Tara come back together for their family.

This book shows how easily someone can become addicted to drugs and how that addiction can mess up everyone’s lives. The author explores the issues with a deft hand while showing how a strong character and love can overcome any setback.

For Their Child's Sake is the story of a man who will move heaven and earth to have his family happy and with him once more.

Though he couldn't have predicted the circumstances under which he's granted an opportunity to fight for his family, Sam Bailey grabs and runs with it with both hands. As he battles the shadows of his past in his wife's eyes, Sam is determined to make her fall in love with the new man he has become.

Tara is still in love with her husband, but too afraid of what could happen if he's not fully in control of his impulses. With each passing day, Sam is reminding her why she fell in love with him in the first place, but can she stop being afraid of the past long enough to enjoy the present and possibly, hope for the future?

This is a really sweet and tender romance that tugs at the heartstrings. It shows how powerful love, forgiveness and family can be when combined.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
