Return to Lost Coast Harbor in this sweet and sexy holiday novella It’s been nearly a year since Ivy Montgomery left Los Angeles, leaving behind her stalled career as a chef and her struggling marriage. She’s found solace in her ex-husband’s hometown of Lost Coast Harbor, opened her own restaurant, and is raising their daughter among good friends and family—but finding her own measure of success hasn’t kept her from wondering if she gave up too soon on the only man she’s ever loved…   Parker Montgomery has built a successful career as a chef—winning a spot on a popular reality TV show that led to his own series, a flagship restaurant, and a lucrative line of product endorsements and cookbooks. His success, though, came at too high a price—his family. He’s built a career, and lost the love of his life. But he has a plan to win Ivy back…   Ivy’s carefully balanced world is thrown off kilter when Parker announces he’s returning home to Lost Coast Harbor for the holiday season, and as chef at a competing restaurant. Cute story - may contain spoilers

This was a low angst story about a couple on the verge of divorce. The still loved each other but he was a TV personality and was never home. I really didn't get the whole divorce thing though. They had a cute little girl, they loved each other and it just seem concocted. They meet up after 11months separation and she has her own small restaurant and he is going to help another restaurant get fixed up. Colorful characters abound. I really liked the small town dynamics and their family. It was a little slow in parts but I persevered and made it through. This is a safe read and it does have an HEA. I am glad everything worked out. I did believe they loved each other and they both loved their little girl. I liked Parker, the hero more than I liked the heroine too for some reason. But neither one were mean or bad to each other. She even admitted she was a bit jealous that he made it and she didn't. Just glad they got it all worked out.

All He Wants by Eve Kincaid
Lost Coast Harbor Holiday Novella #5.5

Ivy Montgomery and her soon to be ex husband Parker are given a second chance at a happy life together when he comes to Lost Coast Harbor to see if he can woo her back. The two lost sight of their dreams and grew apart though they both still loved one another and had chemistry to spare. At times Parker seemed a bit dense and selfish but eventually he realized what really was important and so did she. The story had a conniving bad guy trying to put Ivy out of business and there were other roadblocks from time to time for the couple but watching them grow and share and communicate and care was a delight to peek in on.

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

The couple: Parker and Ivy

Romance trope: marriage in trouble
Series: Lost Coast Harbor
Length: 182 pages

Plot: Ivy is building her business, a restaurant in her (almost) ex-husband's hometown. He's not there though; his career took over, leaving no time for her and their daughter, and so she left. They are both still in love but a marriage can't survive when only one person has their needs met. But Parker is in town for a little while and he is determined to win his wife back.

Commentary: Not gonna lie - I spent a lot of time crying during this one. I could really feel Ivy's pain and regret about what had happened between her and Parker. I felt it less from him; I know he wanted her back and he was sorry about messing up, but he didn't seem to understand how he messed up. It was maddening at times because it felt like he wasn't listening, that he just wanted to slot her back in his life without changing very much. He straight up ignored her and her needs and he left her alone to just be a mom with no support at all. He wanted to buy a new house and work a little less but make no changes otherwise (and I feel like he wouldn't have changed the work hours unless something drastic happened - case in point: when his producer showed up, instead of saying "absolutely not, not at all," he made a deal for some filming instead of no filming. He couldn't say no.). In fact, the very idea that he was only in town for a couple of weeks and he thought he could convince her to uproot herself and their daughter once again to keep things convenient for him. He still had his restaurant, his TV show, all of his deals, and she still would have had nothing. That part was so ridiculous. I loved that his sister (especially) and brother called him on it and I loved that his family supported Ivy.

Ivy, on the other hand, while a bit of a workaholic, was willing to do what was necessary to take care of her daughter with the help of family. She loved Parker but knew that she couldn't continue in a marriage where she had no say. If he had asked her what was wrong, even once - but she was never specific with him either. They were both at fault, but it was mostly him, in my opinion.

I've never read anything in this series before, but I really enjoyed this one.

All He Wants

Thank his is the first book in this series. They both have made careers in the food industry. Both great chefs. But he became a popular tv chef with his own flag ship. She ended up married to him and being a stay at home mom. She wanted more. After their marriage ended she opened her own place. In his hometown. He came back for six weeks to try and get her back. But he ends up working for her competitors place. And things don't go as planned. Will a little Christmas magic be needed to reunite the two?

All you could want in a heartwarming read...

All He Wants takes us back to Lost Coast Harbor and a delicious new tale of romance and intrigue. I like that this couple is "almost" divorced, but neither has moved on, will true love prevail? I like that we get to check in with a character or two from previous series books. But most of all I loved getting lost in this small town "world" because the storytelling captures your heart and imagination for a truly satisfying read.

This was given to me to read and review by the lovely Ms Eve Kincaid and I am so excited to tell the readers that I read this and enjoyed this story very much.  I have read the previous Lost Coast Harbor novels and the reader doesn’t need to have read them in order to understand what’s going on in this one.  The author gives enough background information that the reader will be able to follow along just fine.

I loved being back in Lost Coast Harbor.  I got to visit the area, see old characters, and I got to spend some time in a very small town and get lost in the charm and wonderfulness of that world.  Yeha me!!  The premise of the story is around Christmas time and I really enjoy Christmas romance stories.  I love the magic and happiness that surround Christmas and all of the possibilities that could happen.

This is a short quick read that shouldn’t take up a lot of the readers’ time and is entertaining and easy to read.  I find it easy to get lost in Eve Kincaid’s books so I don’t think the reader will have any difficulties.

Ivy and Parker hit a rough spot in their marriage that is becoming a danger zone.    I think that their rough spot eventually helped bring them back together, showed them where they went wrong, learned to trust and depend on each other more, and fell even more in love with each other.  They are both strong loving people and are just likable so that made it easy for me to cheer them on for their happy ending.

Give this book a try, especially since the holidays are not that far behind us.  I think the reader will like this series.

After saying “I do” and the honeymoon is over, real life begins. Having been students together at chef school, Ivy finds herself living in Parker's shadow once baby Gigi came along and Parker is feted as a celebrity chef with his own TV show. Eventually, his absences and lack of opportunities crowd out Ivy's feelings for Parker and she found a new home in Lost Coast Harbor. It is only after Ivy left, that Parker realises how important she is in his life. Winning her back will be a cinch, but Parker underestimates Ivy's drive to succeed in her new restaurant venture and to build a life for herself and Gigi. Fortunately, his strong-minded sister Cait is there to put him back on track in a way that only a bossy sister can. There is, of course, a thorn in the flesh and for once it isn't another woman, but someone who would like to see Ivy fail. Parker unknowingly walks into the trap and it then up to him walk the fine line between doing his job and betrayal of Ivy. I enjoyed the characters in this novel and the way in which they took up their stance on Ivy's behalf. Gigi is a sweet addition to the story and brings out the best in Parker. The book is generally well written with a suspenseful element and romance to tug at the heart. It is also a standalone and comes to an amusing close. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

I missed Lost Coast Harbor, and I LOVED this book. A second chance holiday romance with a pinch of suspense.

I have been reading so many books lately where the H and h were supposed to have chemistry, but I just was not feeling it.

Parker and Ivy had chemistry. Their relationship wasn't combative, even when they were competing. They loved their daughter, Gigi. They were ex's who supported each other. Then, there was the sexual tension that increased as you got further into the book.

There were so many great characters in the book, from Parker's family to Ivy's friend Val. If you have read any of the prev Lost Coast Harbor books, some of those characters pop in for a visit.

This book was sweet, witty, sexy, and fun. It had a "villian", and everything did not flow smoothly along for either Ivy or Parker. There was also love, loyalty, family, and a cutie by the name of Gigi.

I would definitely recommend this book. I started reading and didn't stop until it was over. Admittedly, didn't get much sleep, but I enjoyed every page and it made me smile. I hope there will be another Lossy Coast Harbor book in the future.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.

Will she give him a second chance?

As I write this review, I'm a bit torn. I liked so much about this second-chance novella, but my dislikes were a turn off.

So as to my likes:
Eve Kincade is a good writer, and All He Wants is a character driven story of deep love, understanding and second chances. I really liked all the main characters (Ivy, Parker and GiGi), as well the secondary characters. The story was easy to step into and I could feel the emotional warring of both Ivy and Parker.

So as to my dislikes:
I was put off by the unnecessary vulgarities and explicit sexual content. Steamy chemistry does not need to be explicit to feel real, and crude language should be reserved the the kind of books where it is expected.

A delightful read. My first by this author. This book is part of a series called the Lost Coast Harbor .
Ivy and Parker Montgomery met at culinary school. Married after graduation, and they both establish their careers.
Ivy has her own restaurant called, The Vine.
Parker was selected for a chef's TV show in Los Angeles. Parker loved all the attention and perks that come with his job, but his marriage suffered as a result. Distance between Ivy and Parker, never having enough time to spend with loved ones makes for a rough road ahead.
Ivy moved on with her 2 year old daughter, Gigi and settled in Coast Harbor.
This story was throughly enjoyable. Two people so in love with each other, find that love again along with the magic of the christmas season. I received this book for free from Ebook Discovery. I volunteered to review it and this is my honest review.

I love the Lost Coast Harbor series and have been waiting for another story in the series. All He Wants was worth the wait and I was sucked in at page one! Ivy and Parker's second chance story was hot and romantic with drama and a little suspense thrown in. Parker returns to Lost Coast Harbor determined to win Ivy back, but Ivy is reluctant to give him a chance and possibly be hurt again. I love their road to understanding what went wrong the first time around and their path to forgiveness. I love the small town of Lost Coast Harbor and it's residents (with the exception of one conniving old man!) and the way the town's residents are always there to help each other out. This is a fantastic and totally entertaining read!

What a beautiful story and brilliantly written, I was hooked from the start.
Ivy couldn't stand living with Parker due to his work commitments as a tv chef she was so unhappy and he had failed to notice.
She was bringing up their daughter solo as she barely saw her husband and she hated living in the big city with no friends.
Ivy and Parker had both been chef's but she had giving it all up to look after their daughter.
She wanted a quieter life and set up home near her in laws.
That is where the story starts but a lot goes on in this story.
I enjoyed it so much I can't wait to read more.

There isn't much I enjoy more than a touching second chance at love and this is one of the best. A single mom is surprised when her almost ex husband shows up in town and finds every excuse to spend time with her. They have an adorable daughter who is so happy to see her wonderful dad. It is so heartwarming to see these two learn to deal with what caused them to separate in the first place and realize they are still in love. Throw in the suspense and a grumpy old man doing everything in his power to sabotage Ivy's new business and this novel is a perfect fit for Lost Coast Harbor. This will not disappoint. It can also be read as a stand alone.

All He Wants is the sixth book in the Lost Coast Harbor series that is divided between two authors, Eve Kincaid and Lily Danes. Each boo focuses on one couple in Lost Coast harbor and their road to finding love. Ivy moved to Lost Coast harbor with her toddler to be close to to her in-laws and their support and to be in the small close knit community. It has been a year and she has The Vine, her bistro and it is doing well, so well that the hotel owner is intimated by her success and is trying to make sure she fails, including hiring her ex to do his holiday dinner to bring in extra customers, he hopes to steal from her.

On the eve of their divorce, Parker returns to his hometown to get closer to his family, especially his wife Eve and their daughter With the support of Parker's family, Eve has built a new life and a restaurant. Eve is surprised to find Parker back in town working for her competitor. I received a free copy of this eBook from eBook Discovery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. This is a fast read. I thought that it took Parker a long time to realize that his path to fame and fortune might not be the best path for this wife and family. I liked this story.

This is a fast fun read. Lots of drama and romance. The character are so real and their problems are ones that readers will connect with since they may have gone through them too. Highly recommend!
