No end in sight Due to the unexpected fire, the group is forced to leave behind the safety of Gwen’s Grandma’s house. Now they need to search for a new place to stay with a man they’ll never be able to trust. Devastation around every corner. Traveling through the unknown. Surrounded by loss. But when Gwen and the others come upon another group that claims to know where to go, they wonder if they’ve finally found the way out of their nightmare. White Dust is the fourth book in the heart-pounding post-apocalyptic Red Sky Series.
Kellee L. Greene is a stay-at-home mom to two super awesome and wonderfully sassy children. She loves to read, draw, and spend time with her family when she's not writing. Writing and having people read her books has been a long time dream of hers and she's excited to write more. Her favorite genres are Fantasy and Sci-fi. Kellee lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two cats.
This is the fourth book in this colorfully-titled series. The Earth seems to be under attack and whoever is doing it is taking their time. The survivors Nick, Molly, Bronx and Gwen continue to try to find shelter along with a few others. As expected things don't go well including their capture by escapees from an asylum.
They have a general idea of where they are headed but it's obvious that they're going to continue having a hard time finding food, shelter and water and at the same time avoiding the crazies.
My main problem is with the concept of the series. If the red sky/blue cloud/black rain and white dust are really a form of alien attack then the aliens are rather stupid. If you want to wipe out all the humans just use major radiation attacks and then kill off what few humans survive those.
That all could be done rather quickly and efficiently.
If the aliens are trying to terraform the planet to their own needs then, again, they are going about it the wrong way. I think the series is getting to be a little boring.
I've been reading this since book 1. There are numerous errors that the editors never caught. As I'm reading I have to correct it in my mind. The story is very boring. It's so predictable that I have yet to get involved in any of the characters or the plot. Boredom, then some uninteresting action, more boredom, then some sex thrown in ( as if these people would be that interested in sex during a fight to survive). The author tried very hard to create some love triangles but never quite gets them going. None of the characters are very appealing. So much of this series is more suited towards young adult except the books I've read about Post apocalyptic life have been much more interesting with characters that grab my interest. The only reason I'm finishing the series is because I paid for it all and I have to see how it ends.
Loving this series. I find a lot of similarities in the characters written by this author. The women always have two or more men they are attracted to because they are "so good-looking." The women always bite their lip and chew on their cheek. One of the men always dies. The characters always gather lots of goodies to put in their packs and then get held up and have to give them up.
Still, I love the series, can't stop reading. On to Indigo Ice.
I enjoyed the books and love the characters. I feel like it might be the perfect time to let them finally rest after the He77 they’ve been through. Aaannnd... please, please let us discover the origin of all these events soon!
The editing is really poor. I haven’t discovered anything likable or relatable in any of the characters. These books should have been combined into one.
Unlimited Kindle book, read with the Alexa audio application. Book 4 in series. They finial head out to cope in the bigger world. This is not the end of the series.
