I had started this series a while back and got distracted with something else and ended up forgetting to go back and finish. The first book was pretty good, but I liked this one even more.

Drew was the cocky cousin of Derek's from the first bank. When Derek refound his high school sweetheart after a major miscommunication and then found out that she had had a son, he figured out that he only thought he had had everything he ever wanted. Now, with his wife, son and a beautiful new daughter he realizes he had been clueless about what he needed after all. Derek is telling Drew all this and making Drew have thoughts he didn't need rummaging around in his head. Therefore decides to take off on a vacation at one of his resorts so he can set everything back to normal. Have a vacation, maybe a fling with a beautiful woman, and get his head back on straight. He never dreams he will flat out run right into his own version of a train wreck that will turn his whole life upside down.

Trinity is doing the one thing she has never done in her whole life. Living in the moment and even being a little reckless. After she decided she was ready to sleep with her boyfriend of sex months she walks in to surprise him only to be surprised herself. She drains her accounts and heads for her first ever vacation. While taking a mind cleansing swim someone runs her over with their surf board and knocks her out. When she wakes up the hottest man she has ever seen is waiting with her in her room.

Drew, for once, just wants to be with a woman and not see greed in her eyes. He just wants to have a nice vacation with a beautiful woman. But as time goes by, and he and Trinity get closer and closer, he knows eventually he is going to have to tell her. Of course as always, his plans crash and burn and she finds out from someone else and gets pissed and leaves.

Months later, Trinity is just trying to make ends meet. If it wasn't for her best friend she doesn't know what she would do. Drew tried to call a few months back but she just didn't want to talk to him. She know eventually though she'll have to. She's over the moon excited to be a mommy and feels like even if she told Drew he wouldn't want anything to do with the baby, so why tell him,...right?? Until one night she comes home and there he is, waiting for her. And guess what, he wants his baby, and more than that he wants Trinity too, and will stop at nothing to have them. Especially after he saw the ultrasound of his baby Trinity had left laying on her table. He's decided the fight is on and he will be the victor.

I think, this is the first book I've read like this. I really really enjoyed it!! Trinity was so tired of being lied to by men that she completely goes to the extreme when she finds out Drew had fibbed to her. Even after he came back and explained it, she wouldn't let it go. I get why she was mad, really, but come on chick, this guy came back and was over the moon excited about having a baby with you and she fought him on it until the very end. It sorta made her annoying, but I guess I got where she was coming from. Drew on the other hand, was amazing to me. He went from not even wanting a relationship with a woman to groveling at one's feet begging her to marry him, and taking care of her at every turn. He was like every pregnant woman's dream man. He brought her breakfast and lunch and dinner. Wanted to take care of all the dr bills, would massage away all the aches and pains, and even more, but hey, I don't want to give everything away. I sorta felt sorry for him, because it took a while for the chick to give him anything to work with. I can't wait to read more from these wrong side of the tracks grown into billionaire playboys that then turn into prince charmings, lol. They are great.

A heck lot of telling and zero showing.
I felt zero chemistry between MCs.
Both MCs raised very valid negative point about each other.
Heroine WAS in fact too selfish and stubborn and would cut her nose in spite of her face and WOULD put the child’s life in danger to gain on the hero. There WAS a third option. I don’t ever understand why people don’t admit themselves in the hospital!!!!
Hero WAS a dictator. You CANNOT decide you are getting married for both of you. She isn’t a possession. She has to agree, you have to ask. This is 21st century. She may be good for you doesn’t mean you’re good for her.
Also, you kinda sorta DID lie. Yes, YOU wanted to be just the other guy and have a woman like you for yourself but you also took her choices away from her, and you didn’t trust her. Why would she want to trust you?
If they met somewhere else, it was ok, but it was his resort and he had to go out of his way to cover his identity so no, not ok.
Didn’t particularly enjoy any aspect of it, and I didn’t find the writing style engaging either.

I'm finally done with this book! It was a struggle to finish this book. I contemplated putting this book down several times.

The main problem I had with this book was Trinity. The main character of The Tycoon's Vacation. She got on my nerves more than once. She was really frustrating for a main character. I can't deal with it. I understand that Drew lied to her at the beginning of the relationship, but it wasn't worth staying angry for over half of the book. Other than that, the storyline was a little similar to the first book. What made the story a little different would be the characters and because I really didn't like Trinity, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I would have liked to.

Andrew/Drew Titan is a multi billionaire high end luxaury resorts owner. He decides he needs to take a vacation so he goes to his newest resort on a small island in Spain. There he meets vacationer Trinity Matthews she is swiming and he bumps her in the head with his surf broad. Drew saves her from drowning.

He never tells Trinity that he is the owner of the resort just that he works there and is taking his vacation there. He makes sure she is moved from her small room into a penthouse suite with everything she does eats and drinks paid for by the resort. All money she has spent was returned to her CC. He instructs the resort to give her $10,000 for her injury on there property.

Drew and Trinity have a hot sexy week together. But when she finds out he is the owner of the resort and is a billionaire she leaves and returns home.

5 months later Trinity is pregnant and having problems with her pregnancy. When Drew shows up and demands he be apart of his childs life. Trinity has Toxemia her feet are swollen and blood pressure his very high. She is hospitalized and then home bed confined. But she doesn't listen to her doctor and goes for a walk and is stabbed when a man grabs her purse and she wouldn't let go.

Trinity was subborn and to prideful to the point she put her child in jeopardy. The other problem I had with this story was it following a formula. There are a lot of simular characterist to bk. 1.

I loved Drew he was the perfect man!! and I like the revisiting of all the Titan family members.

I mostly listened to this because of a challenge. Lowkey probably would've have dove into it without it. So, yeah.. this is awkward.

The Tycoon's Vacation was an okay book. I honestly wasn't expecting anything from this series because I doubt that I read the first book. If I did, well even more awkward. If I didn't, eh.. I probably wont dive into the first book now unless I need to. The characters that you meet wee okay but I wasn't invested in them. At least the entire time. I did enjoy the audiobook but only to a cetain point.

Overall, maybe the reason I was't that into the omance was because it felt a smidge foce to me? no idea, but all I can think about is that this damn R button isn't working on my laptop. I give up again - even more - I need to think of other words that don't use that button.

I really enjoyed this book, and have loved the whole series.

Here is a sample of my favorite part of this book taken from chapter 10

As she looked at Drew, she realized that she was head over heels, completely and totally, in love with the man. She didn’t know at what point she let down the walls around her heart, but she knew the door was open, and if he decided to leave, she’d never pick up all the pieces of her shattered heart. She couldn’t say it was any one particular moment, she fell in love with him, but more like several smaller moments over the last several months.

The Tycoon’s Vacation: Baby for the Billionaire book 2 is by Melody Anne. This is a cute book to read and such fun to read during the summer. It is predictable; but getting there is the fun.
Drew Titan was busy building resorts all over the world. He was not in the running for marriage until his cousin Derek married Jasmine and he saw how happy they were. However, he still wasn’t convinced marriage was for him. He decided to take a vacation in his resort on a secluded island off the coast of Spain. Upon arrival, he told the manager he didn’t want to be called for any problems nor to be identified as the owner. He took his surfboard and hit the ocean to find a wave or two. What he did find was a resort visitor whom he knocked out with his board!
Trinity Mathews was spending her entire savings of ten years on a vacation in this mega-expensive Spanish resort. She had just broken up with another boyfriend and finally decided to do for herself. She was tired of being a pushover. If she found romance on this vacation, that was fine. If not, that was fine too. She hit the ocean and swam a long way out. On her way back in, she was hit in the head by a surfboard. What a way to start a vacation!
Drew did not want Trinity to know he was the owner. His lawyers didn’t either. They rushed a paper over for her to sign which gave her a handsome payment so she wouldn’t sue. As Drew watched over her due to the head injury, he became infatuated. What could an island fling hurt?

Poor plot, characterization, and very little romance outside instalove. Not a fan.

Trinity had potential but lost it all for the sake of an overbearing tycoon. Didn't buy into the love match at all. Needed a lot more editing. Probably could have been a novella, honestly.

Sex scenes were meh. Listened to the audiobook. The breathy noises didn't add anything.

Not gonna attempt another one by the author.

Vikki’s Musings

After reading The Tycoon’s Revenge, I couldn’t wait to read The Tycoon’s Vacation. I absolutely loved the first book in this series, and Drew’s character had been introduced in that one and I liked him a great deal. After reading this book, I noticed something. The Tycoon’s Revenge has been re-edited and re-released in 2013, while this one hasn’t been given that same attention. That may be why I didn’t enjoy The Tycoon’s Vacation as much as I had anticipated.

After finding her boyfriend with his secretary in bed together, Trinity Mathews decided she needs to get away, take a vacation and soak up some rays, so she heads to an island paradise. It’s time for her to let down her hair and have some fun for a change.

Drew Titan owns a string of exotic resorts, but rarely takes any time off to enjoy them. Deciding he needs a vacation and change of pace, he arrives at one of his island resorts and tells his staff that unless the place is on fire pretend he’s just another guest.

When Drew accidentally collides with Trinity and injuries her, he is immediately drawn to her. Why not have a fling? It’s what they both want. Little do they know their fling will change their lives forever.
I did like The Tycoon’s Vacation. The story starts out well and drew me in right away. The pacing is good, and I did not feel that any parts of the story dragged. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to learn more of Jasmine and Derek’s lives. There are many great scenes in this book they’re just a tad underdeveloped. I also found the story believable, and I really liked that Trinity and Drew had time to develop feelings for each other since the story spans the length of Trinity’s pregnancy and beyond.

While this story has a lot of potential, the story is underdeveloped and the characters lacked depth. Even though I don’t care for books with an information overload of backstory, this book needed more. I never was given any information about Trinity’s background, other than she moved around a lot, and had a few bad relationships. This kept me from truly bonding with her character. Her internal conflict was superficial and left me with quite a few questions concerning her determination to never have a relationship with the hero. Drew Titan’s character had some of the same issues as well.

Nonetheless, if you enjoy books on the light-hearted side and like a fast-paced tale of love, then you will enjoy The Tycoon’s Vacation. The next book in the Baby for the Billionaire series is Ryan’s story. I have already downloaded it and look forward to finding out more about his character. Happy reading!

The Tycoon’s Vacation – Baby for the Billionaire series

Drew and Trinity

OMG… HOT HOT HOT!!!

I was raring to go right from the beginning… come people… hot guy… hot girl… hot resort… holy cowz…. I was smitten right at the start!!!

I couldn’t understand why Drew would lie about the things he did… but whatevah!! Keeps cracking me up how these billionaires keep knocking up the girl first then they chase after them…. Sheesh… you’d think a rich guy would carry a plethora of condoms with him everywhere he goes…but these guys… HOLY FREAKING HOT!!

This in book #2 in the Baby for the Billionaire series… and I’m reading so fast… can’t put the kindle down… I can’t wait to read the next book… The Tycoon’s Proposal… with Ryan and Nicole… that one looks even hotter than the first two put together… I saw some not so nice reviews for it… but that’s not stopping me!!!

I was right… Derek and Jasmine and their family are back in this one… makes ya all warm and fuzzy inside to see how close knit this family really is and how they’re there for each other no matter what!!!

All in all… well…. I LOVED IT!!! 4.5 STARS

Sorry but I didn't like this book because again it lacked in depth and the heroine is not inspirational in the least but very immature, shallow and ambiguous. I am sick of women in stories who become weak kneed at the onset of sex. And please another D name? Also, this work actually has some grammatical errors like pled? Or did you mean pleaded? And why are the sentences so short it's annoying. It's like narrating to a 4 year old. Another thing is the research must be accurate on the medical aspect. The process in the birthing process is not crowing but crowning. And damn if Trinity isn't the poster child for stubborness and stupidity that it was twice that she endangered the life of the child. I have never felt so annoyed trying to finish a book and this tops my list. i'm sorry.

This is the second in the Baby for the Billionaire series. And I liked it. This was a cute flowing story that kept me wanting to read. Finished it rather quickly. My only irritant was that at times Trinity irritated me. But Drew I loved. So far the first book is my favorite.

I will be starting Ryans book next. Sure I am gonna love it. But I will say it is a great sereis. I got the 1st book in the series as a free read. But when I looked up the others all three were in a bundle for $4.99. It was a steal. One of the best deal I've run into. If you want cute flowing stories, with a lil spice, and a lotta love this is a series for you and at $4.99 it is a great deal when you get the whole trilogy. I would recommend getting the bundle.

Billionaire !!!!

Trinity whines constantly , not sure why Drew is so nice to her . So what he told small lie ,she was behaving like teenager . No regard for safety of unborn child or consideration for care giver . How hard can it be for her to do research on her medical conditions . Rather than blaming care giver constantly , she should have done research & took better care of herself.
I also dislike the fact that author writes word billionaire so many times, plus sometimes which turns in millionaire .

I don't like Trinity she is so backwards. And because the story revolved around her it was a major fail.
In the story there really was never a problem that would keep them apart but because of our heroin's mental instability there was a couple of hitches that lasted the whole book.
I kind of Hate her. The book was really well written so that won't stop me from reading the rest of the series. I can't wait to read Ryan and Damien's stories.

Really sweet quick read. Not much detail and quick transitions. Great story idea and would be four stars with some fleshing out of the details and descriptions. I related really well to the events of her child's birth with my son coming early at 36 weeks and the guilt that one puts on themselves when things like this happening. Worth the read if you are looking for a quick read.

Guess I never wrote a review for this one either. Decided to reread this series (Aug. 2016) and I'm so happy I did. Each book is filled with love, family, and a wonderful HEA. This is a light easy read with low angst and the story will leave you with a smile. Perfect for an afternoon escape. I highly recommend it.

Love the hero. That's it

Looked for a way to get a refund when our heroine just had to go check her store while on bedrest then fought a mugger with a knife who wanted her purse. A knife plunged into her baby or her purse?? She chose her purse. Didn't like her before that was completely turned off after. Too bad drew deserved so much better.

:) cute enought.
a little bit unrealistic, but bottom line, is somehow a fantasy that comes true :)
gave some entertainment.

Drew and Trinity, are the romantic couple... she is stubborn, he is in love... and now you think, how in hell, a gorgeous tycoon, resort owner, fall in love with a pretty common girl.... well, that is where lay our fantasy.

The book was good, but like all my reviews for her, she could have made it a little longer with some more detail, but I was content because her books are always my short happy ending books to read when I need a short book.

Fast-paced and quick read. What I didn't like is this book lacked of romance development, so it was dull. Also, I felt no connection with main characters. Overall, it was a good story merely for enjoyment.
