The tagline on the cover just sends me "Holiday miracles in the sex toy aisle." Indeed!
Turcot finds his former best friend's sister in the sex shop staring wistfully and curiously at some chintzy bondage cuffs. Since Turcot personally crafts his own custom cuffs that are far superior AND sees some real sub potential in librarian Cassidy, he approaches her to see how she's been all these years. And wow do kinks align and sparks fly. They agree to a night of exploration, since Cassidy is completely new to kink (despite having checked out a lot of books on the subject from her library). Turcot takes great care to make Cassidy feel safe and consensual (even calling his friend from the kink club he goes to to be her buddy and check in).
But what Cassidy truly desires is all the emotions that go into kink play, and the real connection she already has with Turcot is both entirely what she wants but also a bit scary. Is it just the orgasms or should she jump into Turcot's arms, and cuffs, forever?
Lots of fun Christmas-y "toys" include a red blinking rudolph nose bum plug, this was a fast and steamy holiday novella that made me smile.

So I didn't realize until after I bought NAUGHTY FOR CHRISTMAS that I've read this author before and I'm not a fan of her writing style; she uses a lot of metaphors and odd (to me) phrasing. Nevertheless I decided to give this one a try and for me it's just not working. On a positive note I did like the intimacy and tenderness between Cassidy and Turcot. But I also felt like I was reading a manual on how to kink and the author took several opportunities to emphasize how kink has been misrepresented in books (the heroine is a librarian). It felt too much like I was being hit over the head with a message about the correct way to kink. If you like that level of realism in your romance books then you'd like this one but for me it just kept pulling me out of the story.

For me, Naughty for Christmas didn't have the same, incredible vibe as the other Lilia Moon's books I've read—maybe it was because of my Grinchy nature and this was holiday-themed story through and through—but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoyed it. It was wonderful to meet new characters, follow their own story and catch up with the old veterans.

A gleaming gem of a tale
Nobody writes dom/sub stories quite like Lilia Moon, and her skill set is fully on display in this book. Her words wrap themselves around you, cocoon you in a world of glorious language and rich images. Her doms and subs aren’t perfect, and that’s fantastic; they come across as real instead of some being that could exist only in the pages of a book.
Turcot and Cassidy stumble into a magical Christmas Eve together, a relatively new dom and a wannabe sub who discover their own special joy in one another. I swallowed this book in one great gulp, savoring the taste and flavor of every single word. In every step and beat of the story, this holiday novella displays why Moon is a gift to kink romance.

Lilia Moon is one of my all time favorite authors. I absolutely love everything she’s written and am wishing we’d get more soon.

Well, this was a delightful little Christmas treat. I’ve always operated under the assumption that I’m mostly meh on erotic romance involving BDSM but it turns out, I’m actually just meh on ones that are badly done. But the ones that take time and care to do it right, to focus on the details of how and why it works, to make sure consent is highlighted heavily, those really work for me. I found this delightful and engaging, if a bit quick. I’d love to have seen more of the emotional bond between Cassidy and Turcot but overall, it was a sexy little erotic novella that really hit all the right notes.

This was cute. This takes place in the Fettered world. I haven't read any of those books so I knew I was missing some backstory but it didn't detract much from the book. Sometimes the hero kept referencing people by name and I had no idea who he was talking about but felt like I should. But, we get to meet a lot of those people at the end of the story.
I liked the premise of the story and Cassidy and Turcot had great chemistry and some history that's explained in the story so that made their fast relationship a bit better.
I am intrigued by the Fettered series now and will be getting those books ASAP!

Christmas novella in the Fettered series. Can be read as stand-alone, told in dual POV with HEA. The book takes place over Christmas eve and Christmas day, making it a short read. Cassidy and Turcot are old friends who happened to bump into each other. I would have loved this to be longer with more back story. Sweet and steamy story with light BDSM.

What Happens in Seattle...
What happens on Christmas Eve when you've recently moved to a new city (Seattle) from a small town to explore your unacted-upon submissive desires and run into your brother's former best friend in a sex shop? Librarian Cassidy learns the answer to this question when she unexpectedly runs across Turcot, now a dominant, who followed the same path several years before her.
What struck me the most about this book was how descriptive it was relative to the thought processes and emotional responses of the two protagonists. I truly enjoyed how real they seemed, acknowledging both their strengths and insecurities. I also appreciated the author's apparent understanding of the BDSM subculture, on occasion even mildly mocking those who attempt to portray themselves as more knowledgeable than they might actually be.
This was a relatively short novel, which was more than sufficient inasmuch as it primarily covered the 24 hour period between Christmas Eve and Christmas day (other than the two epilogues). Yet it covered a whole lot more than could otherwise have been expected.
This was truly an enjoyable insight into the development of the new relationship between Cassidy and Turcot. Although a standalone, it is far from the first book of this series. So the fact that I was not overwhelmed by backstories about other characters in the series spoke volumes. But you can bet that I'm going back to read all the previous books in this series that I missed.

What a steamy treat from Lilia Moon! This is not part of her Fettered series but Turcot is a member there and a few of the characters appear. Cassidy has moved to Seattle for a fresh start and to escape the limitations of her hometown. She would love to give BDSM a try—her romance reads have been very inspiring—but she doesn’t know how to get into the scene. Instead, she visits a sex toy shop to get herself a present for Christmas. And there she runs into her brother’s former best friend. (No reason is given as to why they’re not friends anymore. Perhaps just drifted apart after he moved to Seattle and her brother stayed in their hometown.) Turcot is captivated by the woman in the shop before he realizes he knows her and that leads to a walk in the snow and a suggestion that he show her the ropes, so to speak. I adored every part of the set up and how it went from there! They are so adorable together and Turcot does a great job introducing her to BDSM. He makes her a Christmas stocking with stuff around his apartment, including a gingerbread pancake kit. And then she cooks for him as a way of showing that she’s into him and what they could have. I loved how perfect they are for each other!

I really, really liked this story. Cassidy and Turcot met in a sex toy store. They knew each other as kids in their home town, but both of them have grown up, moved on to a new area and learned a thing or two about life. Turcot invites Cassidy to his place for the night, it's Christmas Eve and they are both alone for the holiday. Cassidy accepts mainly because she is attracted and he's a dom who wants to help her explore his world. What follows is a wonderful night of beginners kink, but it's sexy and very hot. I would give anything to be in Cassidy's position, Turcot is hot and approaches Cassidy with patience and caring. Turcot and Cassidy are a great couple and Cassidy has done well with her reading material, so she is a cooperative newbie sub. I think everyone involved had a very merry Christmas!

Turcot has expanded his knowledge of a lifestyle in which Cassidy is now showing interest. Cassidy is brave, bubbly with the excitement of exploring who she is and can be. It’s an thrilling adventure taking place mostly over two wondrous days!
I love this expression from our librarian who’s bravely venturing into new territory: “I snag the dangling ends of my courage...”
I totally love the analogy Turcot makes comparing reading books to bdsm...grinning ruefully as I realize he’s right. I do that.

Wonderful ride
Wow I have missed this crew. Although the majority of the group aren't in this story there are a few that make it in.
Its Turcot's turn to find love and Cassidy is perfect for him. She is smart and perceptive and they have history. I just wish there was more background given. I am curious about her brother since it sounds like both her and Turcot don't talk to him.
The almost instant love was a bit unbelievable but I just went with it and had a wonderful ride.

Another Great Story From Lilia!
Here I am on the 4th of July reading a Christmas story, but I am a bit of a rebel that way lol. I had realized I'd read all of Lilia's other books but missed this one and needed to read it ASAP.
I loved that this book tied into the Fettered world but also started a little to the side of it.
Besides being a BDSM romance and a story of discovery for someone stepping into the world it was also the story of two people who knew each other growing up and reconnected years and miles down the road.
It was an amazing holiday treat!

Fun sexy BDSM Christmas novella
Naughty for Christmas by Lilia Moon was an amazing read. I thought Cassidy and Turcot's first meet was original and set a great tone for the book. I found the story compelling, reading the book in one sitting. While this book reads well as a standalone it was fun getting a glimpse of some of the Fettered characters.

Enjoyed this book! It's super cute!
Finding yourself a Dom and getting to experience what you have been dying to and it becoming more!
This is my second book from this author and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one I've read by her!

There was nothing memorable about this. I forgot the characters names within days. By next month, I’ll probably forget I even read this book. Nothing about it stood out to me or makes it special in my eyes, so I can’t give it five stars.

Cassidy (h). She’s a timid librarian who wants kinky sex, but struggles with finding someone to participate in it with her. Me too!! #twin
Turcot (H). He’s considerate and sweet outside of the bedroom, but a freak in the sheets. Basically, the ideal man.
Submissives aren’t portrayed as weak or fragile individuals who can’t think for themselves the way they are in so many other stories. It’s just a kink; it’s not indicative of who you are as a person and this book acknowledged that.
The emphasis on safety. He put her in contact with someone who would call her after their scenes to make sure she was physically and mentally okay. His friends also made sure to let her know what was okay and what wasn’t.
Turcot had feelings of unsurety. Oftentimes in books like this, the submissive is indecisive and in need of guidance while the dominant is 100% sure of all of their actions, which just isn’t realistic. I appreciated that this author took on a more realistic take on D/s relationships. For example, when Cassidy started to disengage during their first scene, he was unsure of what the best course of action would be to get her back into it.
Cuddles. I love the fact that Turcot is so dominating during sex, yet asks her for permission to hug her. Idk why but that’s so adorable to me.
The smut. Expect bondage, spankings and all that good stuff :)
