There is a lot more story to this than most in this genre with a good level of intrigue outside of the Hotwife story. Most of Arnica’s books I rate as either a 4 or a 5, so why is this one a 3?

These books work best for me when there is good communication between the husband and wife. There was a lot of speculation by the husband Rick but there was only modest disclosure by the wife Lynn, and what disclosure there was was as confusing as it was informative.

The sex for me (which is usually a very strong feature of Ms. Butler’s books) was tepid. They did it, but the disclosure around the sex was limited. And the sex with the Bull was only lightly described.

The sub-plot (as another reviewer described it) had great potential, with a good number of surprising twists. But we never really got into it. We heard about it, but we were never informed about what it was.

As usual, Ms. Butler shows she has a vivid imagination. Perhaps this somewhat lower rating is more a reflection of disappointment in the many missed opportunities for a really good story than the story itself?

What Is She Really Up To In The VIP Rooms.

Can never go wrong with a story about a wife working in a strip club.

Down on their luck a young wife has to take a job waiting tables at the local strip bar. The husbands not thrilled about it but soon kind of gets into the illicit stories she brings home. Of course he can’t help but wonder if she might be up to other things.

The story has a little crime intrigue and eventually the wife feels she has no choice but to submit to the boss All in front of the troubled husband.

Arnica’s writing is flawless as usual but I was a little disappointed by the somewhat abrupt ending.

A hot but reserved wife (Lynn) gets a job waitressing at a strip club, while she looks for a more suitable job in her own field.
Shortly after she starts, a new handsome but sinister, Eastern European takes over the club. Very much the mafia style alpha male, he takes an interest Lynn.
Her husband (Rick) is caught between the jealousy of not knowing what's going on, but at the same time being very turned on by the thought that something might be. The situation becomes sexually charged and dangerous. It brings out a side to Lynn that Rick doesn't recognise. How far will she go? Can he stop her, even if he wanted?
The menacing story line seems to build and building, along with the cuckold's angst, as Rick tries to come to terms with his new thrill-seeking hotwife. A 2nd book must surely be on the cards!

this is a good read...but,not a great read! which it could so easily have been..let me explain.

I will do a quick run of the basic story with very few spoilers if possible.
married couple with stunning wife she takes a job waiting tables in a strip club.
husband starts to think she is having an affair very soon after new owners take over.the wife is playing the husband like a violin.and you don't get any real remorse from her until later when she reveals whats been going on.[but is this another lie?]. we don't get any real proof that she is doing what she says she is doing but he gets plenty of proof she is fully cuckolding him!.the communication between the husband and wife was poor.any time he pressed her rightly,on anything she just snapped back at him.

good story but we are left with a lot of questions unanswered ..[was she using her undercover story to cover her ongoing affair?. did she get out? and what happened next, did she leave her wimpy husband for her bull? etc etc].lets hope Arnica is doing another book..!!

Watch out for what you wish.

Young couple, hot wife, curious husband, strip club job like a large gin and tonic to an alcoholic
Arnica is an accomplished, crafty story teller

Good idea for a story and well-developed characters

As usual, the author is one of the best at the hotwife genre, with good character development, as well as sustained building of tension. However, two criticisms give this a three star rating. First, the sub-plot involving the investigation of the Russian club owner loses focus. Also, the sex scenes with the hotwife sex scenes are described 2nd hand by the wife, which is not necessarily bad, but they are too general. However, it's still worth a read

This is an erotic book for readers who prefer plot over sex scenes. Don't get me wrong this book has lots of great descriptive sex, it's just not the focus. The first half of the book is build up. And I found it frustrating in the most arousing sense of the word. When the sex comes, it's hot and heavy and very satisfying.

I highly recommend this book for readers who want to really get to know the character's lives before they fall into bed.

Very good book in this genre. Told from the husband/cuck's perspective there is a lot of build up and suspense along the way before an explosive climax. I enjoyed this one.

I think I misread who this book was for. I approached it expecting more of an exhibitionism angle, but it was heavy on the cuckold thing. So not quite my cup of tea.
