When tragedy hits engaged couple Molly and Cián, things turn upside down.
Molly decides to spend some time alone telling neither her family nor her fiancé where she is or how she’s doing. When the police call for someone to retrieve her, she is in desperate need of loving care – both tender and strict.
Cián is devastated and irritated with his girl.
She is running from her life instead of asking for his help. Finding her is not as difficult as freeing her from the demons in her head, but he is determined nothing will get in his way, not even her. He will convince Molly she needs him as much as he needs her, and that he will take on anything to keep her safe as they rebuild their lives and try to move forward.
Publisher’s This sweet love story contains scenes of domestic discipline.
USA Today bestselling author of Contemporary and Historical Romances. I'm a proud Texan living it up in Alaska's beauty who loves to write both sweet and spicy romances.
My heroes and heroines can be found in this time or another, modern or historic, professionals or not. All include a little naughtiness, sternness, seriousness, a taste of suspense and a HEA.
I have always loved writing about sassy ladies and have done it for fun but never thought I could do it for other's enjoyment. It's my dream job and I hope I never come back to the real world.
All the books in this series are creepy: this multi-generational family talks publicly about spankings (do they do this in front of the children I wonder? at what age do they start indoctrinating their sons into beating women or their daughters into accepting it?). And the brothers talk about punishing each other's wives; given that spanking is always sexualized (particularly in this genre), this verges into incest. Finally, the men are ott: there's a difference between dominating and domineering -- protecting women so that they can do nothing in their lives that fulfills them falls into the latter category: there's more to life than "safety" (read "boredom").
The story is a spin-off from other stories on the O’Connor family and will have mention of many family members from those stories. That in no way will make it difficult to read and follow this new one featuring Cián O’Connor and Molly Rasher. Also, while this story does not end on a cliffhanger, it will have at least another story or two that will follow this series.
The second story in the life and relationship of Cián O’Connor and Molly Rasher is extremely emotional, with heartache, adjustments, and coping. Molly is in such a state of depression, denial, and confusion that she shuts out everyone who is important, Cián and her two brothers. When Cián decides she has been with her brothers enough, the three of them will learn quickly that she has fooled them, and Cián must find his girl and bring her back. The state of her mental and physical health has them all shocked and will require patience and stern guidance.
“He’s my partner in life, not my keeper. He was being kind, loving and forgiving and she was feeling like a loser. That made her start on her daily guilt trip. She hated carrying the hefty weight of it. She’d been dragging that albatross since she lied to the three men who would protect her against all corners. Two by the occasion of birth, one by choice. Why do you care? I left you. I left everything behind.”
I love how the O’Connor family rallies around both Cián and Molly with love and support, a compassionate ear and shoulder when needed. That doesn’t mean that they sugarcoat everything, because sometimes in life, you need to hear the harsh bitter truth too.
“We’ll practice that saying if we need to. Fake it till you make it. Because we’re going to make it.”
Cián is questioning about how if he has handled things with Molly correctly, and maybe it is time to get them back onto the track they planned for their marriage—he as head of household.
“You’re at a crossroads. It is time to jumpstart your re-entry into the way you intend your life to continue. You both practiced head of household, domestic discipline together before the accident, so nothing new there. She needed a break, and she took it. You gave her more time because she showed she needed it. That’s what a good man does; he takes care of his woman.”
The story has many ups and downs as Cián and Molly make plans for their wedding, they are not in their home yet and trying to get their life back to before the accident. His practice is keeping him busy, and wedding plans are occupying her time. The story includes a sweet romance, power exchange, and domestic discipline. The sex scenes are not overly explicit and do have some very mild edgy in their play. It has been a journey that leads to their wedding.
“Patience and love. That’s a much deeper and lasting power.”
Freeing Molly can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading book one, In Pursuit of Molly, first to enjoy the complete feel for the series. I enjoyed this sweet and romantic domestic discipline story. The storyline is believable and heartfelt, while the characters are warm and likeable. Molly is dealing with a tragic loss and is not sure which way to turn to make it through in one piece. Little does she realize that all she needs to do is turn to the one person that will see her through anything! Cian is strong, dependable, loving, and believes in domestic discipline to keep a relationship the way it needs to be. One thing I love about Cian is his complete devotion to those he loves. This story has its ups and downs with plenty of emotions, love, some spanking, and a sweet yet strong chemistry between Molly and Cian. I recommend this story for a wonderful night's read! I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book.
LEAVE THE MEN TO PLAY OUR BIG BAD PROTECTORS OF THE REALM
The story is a spin-off from other stories on the O’Connor family and will have mention of many family members from those stories. That in no way will make it difficult to read and follow this new one featuring Cián O’Connor and Molly Rasher. Also, while this story does not end on a cliffhanger, it will have at least another story or two that will follow this series.
“Cián deep love for Molly expanded to depths he had no idea existed. Forever was a long time. He had to get this right.”
I love how author Ms. Alyssa Bailey tells a story, can make it more about one couple but so smoothly integrate the other O’Connor family members. For Cián, life around his large and bold family is the norm, but for Molly, it can be overwhelming. They are now married and working in their veterinarian practice, but many strange things are happening. Having a good security system in place in the practice will help, and while Cián tries to keep their home from also needing a security system, that won’t be possible when danger is present, and it seems he and Molly are at risk.
Molly loves a mystery, and while she is great at helping connect pieces in place of people and events taking place in town—she is warned by Cián not to get involved. Saying she will not and doing what she promised will be a catalyst in this tale—but she isn’t alone, and with the help of an outside source, she does prove valuable in helping solve a series of crimes—but at what cost?
“Sometimes annoying and bratty, but always cute and loveable, and dangerously hard to resist.”
The story includes stolen horses of great value, a missing woman, and ties from Colorado that seem to be in Montana now—how will that affect Cián and Molly? When it comes to the O’Connor women, they are strong, feisty, and sometimes too inquisitive for their own good, and that makes the newest member a great fit—but her propensity for wanting to solve a dangerous mystery one that becomes a matter of life and death and has all the O’Connor men in action.
“You get into more trouble, woman. You drive me crazy. I want to kiss you, spank you, and make love to you every day.
The O’Connor men may each have a different style for handling the women they love, and even Cián is learning how to deal with Miss Molly. That is the same as in every D/s relationship; it isn’t one-size-fits-all; each couple is different and unique and must find what works for them. Cián learns that he may have to give Molly some room, but in the end, he must put down his foot and hold her accountable for her naughtiness, but in a loving way. There is no doubt that while he wants to protect her, needs to discipline her; she is still his world.
“He took a cleansing breath. “Sir. I understand, sir. You are going to put some respect in your words until I have heard it enough to believe you understand my role in this family. Head of household is not just a phrase; it’s a responsibility I take very seriously and by the time we are done with this whole issue, you will be convinced of it too.”
The story is a sweet romance, with power exchange, and a couple who are married and have consensually enter into a domestic discipline relationship. While there are a couple of sex scenes, they are not overly explicit. The story is more the chemistry between Cián and Molly, the respect within their relationship, and the dynamics they establish during their journey.
Molly and Cian’s veterinary practice still seems blighted with predators… Once again Molly’s curious nature puts her in the fray when there is what appears to be a large and extremely clever animal kidnapping cases, all these are animals of pedigree, many are award winners and well known within their circles so they have been trafficked to the other side of the country. Then at their veterinary practice there is a break in and she is attacked once again, then Molly is convinced that a couple that arrive at the practice seem familiar and as she watches some security footage realises that the male was in fact involved in the attack at her parents practice where they had both been attacked, this was the reason he had left the practice quickly when he had returned as he would have recognised him, unfortunately the perpetrator had not realised that Molly remembered the tattoo on his hand also his voice was one she would never forget. As the crimes appear to be escalating and the involvement of Molly and Cian is becoming more apparent and even though they have installed additional security as well as a a watch dog, all that seems to be difficult to achieve is to keep the O’Connor women in line, aware of the risks and trying to keep Chief Inspector Molly in line and out of trouble, the only chagrin being that she is so very good at working out these mysteries and unfortunately the dangers that these cases often bring with them. This was a wonderful addition to the series and as always there was lots of action, lots of loving and at time some very spanked bottoms but most of all there were a family of very dominant men and equally loved and cherished wives and children that continue to grow in number…. I voluntarily received and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Second book of Cian and Molly's romance. They are happy, engaged and preparing to move to Montana, when tragedy strikes.
After the death of her parents, Molly falls into a deep depression that takes her away from her loved ones. She needs to survive on her own, without help from anyone. She doesn't want anyone around. She thinks they will be better off without her. She doesn't understand, when he sees Cian again, why he's not angry anymore, why he still wants to be with her, why he calls her an angel. She left her, she didn't tell hin where she was. She doesn't deserve him, too good for her.
She has doubts about whether she will be a good wife, and also about her relationship. She cannot blindly obey him.
I loved Cian and Molly. He wants to be strong for her, protect her from everything bad, take care of her. Everything she once accepted, she is now unable to do.
Their relationship changes, has ups and downs, and gets stronger.
Cian never doubts his love for Molly. She ... No, she doesn't doubt her love for him. She doubts their relationship. She cannot blindly accept everything he says. But she will when it comes to her safety.
They needed to talk, to explain how they feel to the other.
I loved Shane and Quinn.
I loved the family ties, how they are always there for others, how they accept Molly as part of their family.
I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.
This is a very good and interesting book about Molly who marries Cian O'Connor, and seemingly marries his family too! Cian's family is quite close to one another, and all the men are dominate in nature, dominate in the bedroom it seems and believe in disciplining their wives when they deem it necessary. Molly has reluctantly agreed to submit to Cian too, as she loves him so much and his dominance is very attractive to her. But mysteries attract her too, and when strange things begin happening in and around their home and their region where they live, she rebels at all the O'Connor men wanting her to listen to them, stay out of investigating the mystery, and just do as she is told. It is amusing to watch her fight to be herself while also submitting to Cian the best she can. The story can be a bit confusing at times, especially if you haven't read any of the previous novels in the series. There are many characters to keep track of, even if they have minor roles in this story, and the reader has no knowledge of Molly's important backstory. I think the story would be enhanced by at least summarizing her situation to keep the reader informed. Otherwise, a very enjoyable read.

Wow, I loved this story that finished this couple's story! Alyssa Bailey has written another great book with the hopes of the next generation's stories to come. I was kept guessing up until the end as the crime/mystery with all the twists and turns unfolds. The characters are well developed and meshed together seamlessly with previous characters yet they were explained completely within this book thus making it a standalone story. However, I liked having read all the books in order but especially the Cian and Molly story. The women are each unique but feisty, strong and have plenty of sass and naughtiness. The men are all alpha males that are hard working, strong, protective, loving, and all know how to handle a naughty woman. I enjoyed the chemistry that was powerful, loving, sweet, and deep. The power exchange is unique to this couple as with all the previous couples, but equally exciting. Overall I loved the book and hope to see the next generation continue the stories in the future. I highly recommend this for a great nights read! I give it a big 5 stars!! I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book.
This is book 2 of Cian and Molly's story. We start out with Molly's parents dying and Molly not handling it at all. By the time Cian figures out she has left town, she has gotten herself deep in trouble. She is rescued, but she needs help accepting her parents deaths. There is discipline and spankings, but Cian loves her and does his best to help.
I love this series and I can't wait to read the final book. I have fallen in love with the O'Connor family. This is book 2 of Cian and Molly's story. I love this series and I can't wait to read the final book. I have fallen in love with the O'Connor family.
Molly and Cian seem to have it all worked out in the first book. The tragic loss of Molly's parents sets them on a different path for this second book. Molly and Cian once again prove to be likeable characters. Molly's struggle felt incredibly real and made me feel for her as she struggled with such a devastating loss. Cian made a few mistakes along the way, but I loved his dedication to Molly. I really liked the inclusion of the whole O'Conner family. When times were tough they were more than willing to step in and help the young couple. I've loved all the book from this series and this one left me wanting to go back and read all the early books I missed.
Molly and Cián. Couldn't understand what was happening at the beginning of the book. Characters were mentioned without reference. Hard to pick up until I got deeper into the book. A sentence or two mentioning the relationship between the characters would have gone a long way to help me understand.
Molly was immature at best. I don't mind a woman subjecting herself to the situation she found herself in, what I couldn't swallow is why she did some of the things she did and then would wallow in misery thinking Cián was immediately going to leave her. Too much for this reader, but some may enjoy it.

Molly and Cian have been through so much to get to where they are but things aren't ready to slow down for them yet. Now they have to see if they can truly adapt to their marriage with their discipline agreement or if they need to adapt it a bit to fit their lives. 💗💕
This is the third book in the Cian O'Connor series and it really needs to be read in the order it was written to really follow along with it since it is all interconnected. 😉😊
As with the rest of this series, this book deals with power exchange so if that's not your cup of tea... then you might want to skip this series. There are several spanking scenes... you have been warned.😉🔥

Freeing Molly is the second book of the Cián O’Connor series. The book can be enjoyed as a standalone, but this is an ongoing series so I recommend you start reading with book one.
Molly is overwhelmed with something that happens. She is so shaken that she sort of runs away. Her fiancé Cián is not very happy that Molly does not seem to trust him enough to confide in him. He shows her through loving discipline and other things that she can always turn to him for help.
This is a story that had some scenes that tugged at my heart strings. I like the couple and was glad that everything turned out in the end. I'm hoping that the author decides to go for a third book in the series.
This is the second book with Cian O'Connor and Molly. Molly's parents have been killed in a accident and she wants to be alone for a while so she heads out to her brother's and only stays a few days but then she stops answering her phone and Cian is worried until he finds out she has gotten herself in a bit of trouble. When Cian gets a call from her brother's he is relieved but also upset that she felt she could not come to him so now he has to show her how good they are together but also dish out a little discipline.

Molly has had some ups and downs in her young life, but nothing could prepare her for what happens next. Now she has to come to terms with the results of this tragedy and decide how she's going to handle all the changes it brings. Unfortunately, she just isn't handling her grief well and eventually, Cian has to step in and take control, for her own health and safety. But this time, they both have lessons to learn about love and communication... and maybe rethinking how Cian's use of domestic discipline will play out in the future. 💕💗💕

As always I love reading about the O’ Connor family and all the trouble that comes this way. Over the years they have dealt with lot and now it is Molly and Cian’s turn. This family seems to be a criminal magnet with the way horse thieves, drug dealers, kidnappers, murderers and traffickers seem attracted to messing with the O’ Connor women. I love these books and I can only hope this is not the end. I know Alyssa Bailey has gone through the whole list of brothers finding their one and only but I hope she can start on the new generation. This is a wonderful and exciting series and well worth my time to read.
Freeing Molly started out with devastation. Molly and Cian were a totally different couple than the happy one they were in the first book. Authors don’t usually make you cry at the start of their books... but Ms. Bailey decided to front load the tears and angst. And boy does she deliver. Poor Molly. She is struggling and has basically given up on the life she thought she would have. She wants Cian to give up on her as well. But Cian refuses to give up on her or them. No matter what it takes. What a book!!
This book continues Cian and Molly's story. You should read book one first. The dramatic storyline packs a powerful punch as Molly suffers a tragic loss that sends her reeling. Can Cian help Molly heal and get their romance back on track? Read this entertaining read to find out. This book does contain scenes of domestic discipline, so if that is a big no for you, you'll want to skip this book. Myself I really enjoyed the blend of heat & heart this book offered. This is my freely posted frank review.
Molly and Cian O'Connor are owners of a Vet Animal Practice that her dad had and Cian took over. There are strange goings on at the clinic and Molly finds herself hurt. Cian is blaming himself about that injury but Molly is resilient and at times too smart for her own good. She finds she likes a mystery to keep her going but when she finds herself in over her head she will later find her protective husband administering discipline to help her remember to listen to her husband. She does help solve the mystery of all the crime that is going on.
Freeing Molly is a stand-a-lone book in this series but I would recommend enjoying them together. This was a heart wrenching story but with a happy ending. Molly gets all the support she needs from her soon to be husband and his very large family but with depression sometimes that is just not enough. I adored this story even though I was hurting for Molly at times. This was a well written story and I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This is the second book in this series and it can be read as a standalone but I definitely would read the first book before you read this one or I don't think you will not enoy it the most. The characters are both relatable and interesting which kept me enthralled until the last page and which makes me hope there will be another book in this series. The plot line has some twists and turns and is well developed.
Book 2 now has Molly and Cian facing new challenges with a great deal of emotions within the story. They face denial, confusion with heartache and adjustments that need to be made. It is really good writing on the author’s part - allowing me to truly enjoy the story. I know for many the idea of domestic discipline is taboo, but within the plot line, it works. I am so glad I have both book 1 and 2 they are amazing books. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Molly and Cian seem to have it all worked out bu tragic loss of Molly’s parents sets them back. She doesn’t do well with this tragic loss. Cian made a few mistakes along the way, but his dedication and love to Molly helps immensely. The whole Conner family is there to help the young couple I enjoy this book,to bad it wasn’t mentioned book one . I feel cheated.

This is the last book of the trilogy for Molly and Cian and the last of the series. ☹
Cian and Molly work together at their veterinarian clinic. Molly is more on the business side while Cian is the veterinarian. Of course, there is a mystery going on and Molly is in the middle as always. And, as always, the O'Connor men are trying to keep their ladies in line. Eventually they solve the mystery and Molly settles in to being an O'Connor wife!
This was another five star addition to the series. Like all the other books this one offers up lots of drama alongside a sweet romance. The characters were all very likeable, and I really liked the blending of characters from the author's other series. I love the strong family theme that carries through the series, and find each book makes me want to start over and read through the series again.
The O’Conner clan is one family you’ll want to get to know, and follow. The men are gorgeous alpha males who take protecting their women very seriously. The 0’Conner women are strong, independent, sassy and very disobedient. That mix makes for a very exciting story! I love this series and couldn’t put any of them down before the ending. Fabulous read!!!
The book is a good romance read. The book is the second story in the Cian O'Connor series but can be enjoyed as a stand alone read. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story has spanking, discipline, and protectors.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second story in the "Cian O'Connor" series and the continuation of Cian and Molly's story. It's a stand alone but I would read them in order. This one Molly faces a tragedy and Cian tries to help her through it. There is much more drama there and emotional healing that goes on. Very intriguing story that does contain domestic discipline.
The second book in this series and it is more of Molly and Cián and what they have to go through with Molly's parent's death. Molly cannot handle it so she runs by the time Cain finds out where she is she has gotten herself into trouble. This story has discipline, spankings, and a lot of love.
