Controlled 1: Loving An Alpha Male
the power to influence or direct people’s behavior or the course of events. It is indicative to such words as power, command, dominance, and leadership. Hello, Let me introduce myself. My name is Andrew Pierce, known to everyone as A.P. I’m a corporate attorney on the fast-track to becoming partner at the Law Firm of Goldstein, Parker, & Foster. My tamed hair is blonde, and my eyes are blue. I stand above six feet with pure muscle covering my entire body. I exude confidence, strength, aggressiveness, power and most of all, control. Shit, if I’m to be honest here… I am the epitome of fucking control. Most people strive to have control, but they don’t know the first thing about it. They use it as a means to harm, destroy or dominate. For me, control is like breathing. It’s my lifeline. I must have control. I must be in control. It’s not about my sick twisted need to dominate that’s ingrained in me no matter what. No, control for me is simple, it’s a matter of life or death. I’ve worked all of my life to master the art of control and believe me, it wasn’t easy. I have been tested, measured, and judged, but I never allow myself to succumb to the loss of control. So imagine my damn surprise, my panic, when for the first time in forever my control falters. Shit, it happened so fast that I couldn’t stop it. My breathing became erratic, and my heart beat raced so fast that I wasn’t sure if I would be able to… control it. I thought this was it, and I looked around my surroundings, frantically looking for the source of my lapse, waiting to destroy the threat, when my eyes fell on…heaven. This beautiful, stunning, magnificent woman before me stole my breath away. She was the reason why my control faltered. This was dangerous for a man like me, losing control like this. I knew what I must do; however, I still couldn’t move. It was that moment when I realized that for the first time in my life, I was fucked.

The way this book had all my attention from page page wasn’t even funny! I literally couldn’t stop reading . I am intrigued with the pull Nyla has on AP. I want to know everything there is to know about him because he is a real complex character. I love the suspenseful nature of the book because I can’t pinpoint what is to come for this series. Very good read.

Wow! A great start to a very interesting story. This is Andrew and Nyla's story. Andrew is a hot shot attorney who must have control at all times until he meets Nyla. Once they meet good and proper like, things take a turn very quickly. There are many threads in this story and based on what I have read so far, I think I may have an idea about exactly what Andrew is hiding. Onwards to Book 2...

I downloaded this book because of an amazon suggested read. I was searching for a book to read that would get my mind off of my heavy school work. I was looking for an escape. First I must say that I have NEVER read a book that involved werewolves. I have recently read a book that involved shape shifting and I enjoyed it. So now back to controlled. In the beginning I had wondered why Andrew was so intense and why Nyla had the strong effect that cause him to loose control. At first I assumed it was just a controlling prick. I must say book one had me saying WTH by the end of the book. I was not expecting that ending at all. I to immediately go to amazon to download book 2. Book 2 is where I learned what the series was really all about. Just know that by the time that I am writing this review I have read book 1, 2 and 3. I think there maybe more that stem off of Andrew and Nyla's story. If so I will be reading them as well.

Oh My this is a enjoyable story to read with characters that are easy to enjoy! A P is someone who just wants to love and be loved. The couple has a connection so strong that not even though they hardly know much about the other. But there is some people who want to come between them and sever their bond. Their love story is that a fated love will never be denied and a man who loves his woman will not allow anyone or anything to get in the way of him having her because he desires her above all else. This is not just a typical romance, since it has elements of suspense and of course throughout the entire time there’s something that’s just simmering beneath the surface, and that along with the depth of passion that the main characters have. It's what makes this book such a page turner. I'm so excited for the next book and oh did I forget about the cliffhanger but I don't mind because it's still worth staying up nights to binge on this story that's fantastic!

Y’all gon sit up here and claim this book was magical. The book wasn’t bad but you could have warned us in the bio about the paranormal aspect to it. Nowhere did it mention the possibility of something supernatural. Reading the book I didn’t even suspect it. I just figured the guy had some inner demons. When you finally introduce the supernatural aspect, the story ends. How convenient (as I roll my eyes). I’m irritated at this point. Lead with that instead of the surprise. The people who didn’t mention the surprise ending must have been waiting for a complimentary copy of the next book.

AMAZING Controller!!!
Well, I was definitely surprised by this book. I initially started reading book 3, thinking I could skip ahead, but something told me to start reading book 1 and I’m so glad I did! Love the intensity from the beginning and I am looking forward to reading the remaining books. Oh how I wish some of these other authors could take a tip from this book and author and realize it’s okay to start the story off on a fast pace instead of always having a slow build up.

YO!!!! This book is the S***!! I am so glad I didnt read this in 7 degrees of alphas, because I would have been so upset that I did not have parts 2 & 3 at the ready.
I can say I LOVE ANDREW & NYLA. I can nor wait to read part 2 (right after I write this review). This is a Page turner. This isn't first time reading from this Author and I am son glad this book be was my intro to her. I will be looking to read more of her books.

Wow...oh yeah!
While I prefer for most tales to be wrapped up in one book the first book has me ready to jump into the next one. Lots of scoundrels introduced here and I really hope they all get their comeuppance in the worst way. There are a myriad of unanswered questions and a slowly evolving storyline which can be frustrating. But the characters are so interesting and the supernatural slant so intriguing you get pulled in and keep going.
So onto book two!👍

Losing Control
OMG... What can I say about this book so far, besides I love it. A. P baby, this man has my toes curling up every time I think about him. Let him grab the back of my head, please and control me. They say kids know evil like a dog can sense fear. His passion, his alpha male syndrome coming to the forefront... LAWD, somebody help me. When I started reading Lessly's books I should've just kept going, because here I am, right back where I started from.

Nyla Montgomery is just a waitress with a crush. But when Andrew Pierce takes a more active role in her life, things start to take a turn. Is Nyla even ready for all that?
I generally like SK Lessly, but this one was too rushed and not a great series opener. I’ll definitely be finishing the whole thing, but I’m definitely disappointed.
At the moment, I only recommend this if you like SK Lessly and shifter romances.

So good
I want to give it a 5 stars but there were typos/errors within the storyline. So I’m giving it 4.5 stars. The characters are easy to love. Nyla and Andrew awareness for each other was beyond strong. I always enjoy seeing when a man gets hit hard with reality when he finally realizes that he has come across his soulmate. I can’t wait to read book two. Thank you S.K. Lesley

Nyla is being bullied by her ex to give up her daughter for him and his wife to raise. She would've never dated him if she knew he was married. Andrew is a cutthroat lawyer who has fallen for Nyla. Controlled one!
Very intriguing- beguiling and attention getting and holding! Can’t wait for the sequel. Did not know it was a sequel ing and intrigued to find out what super realm the book encompasses. Very different from other books I have read. The verdict is still out until I find out what the sequels encompass.

Excellent
This is one of the most interesting and exciting story . I enjoyed reading about Nyla and Andrew. Never would have thought Darrius was a bastard. He's a great actor. I'm certain book 2 & 3 will be just as Interesting and captivating as book one. SK thanks for sharing.

This book is so good. There is an underlying story that they touch on from time to time but nothing to really shine a light on it. This keeps you wanting more and more just to find out this secrete.

I wasn’t impressed. The heroine was kind of annoying to me and once she got with the hero I couldn’t shake the feeling enough to even want to keep reading (made it to 74%). I’m usually good with insta-love but this wasn’t doing it for me.

Firstly the plot wasn’t what I expected and even though the book started off slow and could’ve been cut down to fit all three books in one. I was intrigued towards the end to see the change in characters. Good start and eager to see how it continues
