Whether Connie Colwell Miller writes of a red-tailed hawk hunting for mice or a lover's underwear crumpled up on the bedroom floor, her voice is filled with a revealing breath of candor. Her poems draw our attention to the small details in nature and of the body, often showing us beauty where we may not have expected it. (Sol Books Upper Midwest Writers Series selection)

I especially liked the poems about life with kids. They were touching and so true. Connie takes words and makes every day moments beautiful.
