When Jamie finds an injured man on the side of the road, her oath as a medical professional dictates that she do everything in her power to help him. Never did she expect that that one decision would pull her into the world of the Hellriders MC.
As President of the Hellriders, Pax takes the safety and the lives of his brothers very seriously. After finding out that the crash that left his brother dying on the side of the road was anything but an accident, Pax isn't willing to take any chances. Which means that the sexy woman who rescued his brother is now under his protection as well.
While the chemistry between Jamie and Pax is obvious, she puts up quite a fight in the beginning. Watching these two come together is fun and exciting. I would highly recommend this book to fans of the MC type genre.

Weak and rushed (spoiler)
I have read a lot of different romance novels before but man this one will stick with me in a bad way. Pax is just a very weak dominant character. There wasn’t anything that was redeeming about him. The plot was very basic with no real imagination or suspense at all. The writing wasn’t horrible but the glaring error about Jamie’s hands being all messed up and then getting real hansy with Pax…come on. I can suspend belief for a while, but it has to be grounded on at least one believable idea for it to work. There is no way on Gods green Earth that Pax would be in LOVE with Jamie by the end of this book…they have known each other for a week, know absolutely nothing about each other because they have never had a real conversation, and he saved her life the same number of times that they had sex-twice. Pretty much the sums up the book right there. I do want to say that this author did surprise me in that fact that she is willing to kill off people. Most authors do everything in their power not to do that, so it gives me hope with her next book; even though, no one other than Kato was given any sort or depth at all and his was minimal.

Zoey Parker has written another book that makes you feel like you need to jump into the story just to help. I absolutely loved this book. It has a strong willed woman that won't let a alpha male get away with treating her like she should be afraid.
Jamie is a nurse that has been working a lot due to people calling off work. One night when she is driving home the back way due to an accident he life changes. She finds a male on the side of the road in a ditch. Her phone dies while she tries to call for help so she then tries to bandage the guy up so he will stop bleeding.
Pax finds out that there was a accident so he goes out an searches when he finds Jamie and Kato. Pax is the President of the Hellrider Motorcycle Club and Kato is his second in command. From the start Pax and Jamie start arguing about Kato's care. Pax wins out. Pax ends up paying Jamie to take care of Kato also wants to get into her pants. Jamie tries to leave only to end up in danger but Pax saves her but can he continue to keep her safe? Can he convince her to stay and to have SEX with him? Will they wind up together?

This author has once again, written a marvelous, highly entertaining MC romance.
The plot is suspenseful & full of intriguing incidents, it certainly kept my attention. The characters are well developed with attributes of defiance and/or determination when faced with certain situations & have realistic flaws.
It is about: a young female nurse (Jamie) who gets involved with the Hellriders MC, when the president of the club (Peyton aka Pax) basically forces her to help his second-in-command (Kato) who was badly injured but now she has been abducted & her life is in danger.
There is: MC riders, a arrogant MC president, a feisty nurse, suspense, intrigue, twists & turns, action, danger, enemies, rivalry, war, violence, suspicions, doubts, verbal conflict, panic, anger, determination, frustration, seduction plans, assassination attempt, defiance, guilt, guns blazing, rage, physical conflict, despair, joyfulness, ultimatums, happiness & some steamy scenes.
I would recommend this MC romance to people who like to read this genre.

Pax is the leader of the Hellriders MC. Pax has a feel Huxton's MC is causing problems, but has no proof. Pax knows if he doesn't get proof then he may start a gang war for nothing. Pax is relaxing with the guys when one of the Hellriders goes missing. Pax has a buddy on the police force who gives him a lead.
Jamie is tired from a long shift at the hospital. Jamie sees something on the side of the road. She stops to look and she finds way more then she wanted to.
I like that they immediately get whatever supplies where needed, that shows brotherhood. I like how Jamie stands her ground against Pax for a bit. Pax is so arrogant and just mean, but I think it's just because he doesn't want anyone to know he CAN be a nice guy....I think I like that best.
This was a good story, it has more violence than some.

Ok, I am a little upset because as a nurse, I NEVER had anything as exciting as what happened to Jamie happen to me. Where was my sexy, biker when I was out performing my good Samaritan duties? Well, thanks to Zoey Parker I was able to live vicariously though Jamie and the pages of this book definitely gave me some wonderful nighttime memories of Pax where I may have played the starring role in Jamie's place. This is just another wonderful book that could barely put down once I started reading. Great book as are all of Ms. Parker's so what are you waiting for? GET THIS BOOK!

Jamie came upon an accident she just couldn’t walk away being a nurse and all but she should have because she just put herself in danger but she wasn’t sure from which MC it was. When Pax got a tip that his friend Kati was in an accident he raced to the spot expecting to find him dead but instead he found a beautiful woman claiming to be a nurse but can he trust her maybe she is a plant from the rival MC. Pax decides he is going to keep her around to help Kato and maybe him if he can keep her alive. I just loved Jamie’s attitude even when she was faced with torture and death.

Pax is the President of his MC and Jamie is a nurse. These two meet when Jamie comes across an injured man while driving home from her shift. Pax has been out looking for his missing club brothers when he comes across Jamie and the injured man. I really enjoyed this book. It was well written with characters that were interesting and strong willed. Jamie and Pax had amazing chemistry between them. The story had intrigue, danger, twists/turns, plenty of action, steam and romance. A fabulous read, I highly recommend. I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

When Jamie I'd heading home from a long shift at the hospital she comes across a body doing her best to try and save him the members of the club come to where she is and take her with them. They make her stay to look after him. When the rival gang take her Pax is told she is dead but after a hard fight he found her, they told her that they had tortured and killed Kato but they found him and he was alive. A really good book

Terrible
I wanted to like this book, it had promise, what sounded like good characters, but it seems like the author got rushed and the story just ended up being a huge “cut & paste” from other books! Lots of spelling and grammar errors. And she killed off a minor but likeable character and had the main characters “fuck for hours” and nothing more about this character. Seriously lame!!!

DNF @ 62%. Mechanical writing. All we know about the H is that he’s hot and excels in assholery. Theres no back story or softening to make you like this person. He repeatedly calls the h a b*itch and she doesn’t like it but he’s hot so let’s make out. It’s just stupid. Also for an MC there are only three people? Maybe others show up in the last 38% but there isn’t any club dynamic like you would expect from an MC romance. Hard pass on this one.

Fabulous MC Romance read with danger, violence, chemistry, attraction and loyalty. The main characters are wonderfully described, have steamy interactions and are likable and relatable. The H is alpha male personified while the heroine is feisty and totally gets under his skin. This is their journey; no cheating and an HEA. I loved it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review

Jamie is a nurse and on her way home she comes upon a man lying at the side of the road. Her instincts kick in and she goes to help him. Pax the pres of the MC out looking for Kato comes across the pair. Back at the MC things turn heated with the pair whist she is helping Kato. An accident, then a kidnapping ensue. Brilliant fast paced book

This story was very rushed and little to no character development. People shouldn't write an Alpha if they're not going to do it right. I love, love MC books but having the excitement of finding a new one, then reading it and having it be MC - light, is like smelling warm cookies when you come home from school then finding out they're vegan AND sugarless cuz your mom is on another health kick

I love Jamie! She's a spitfire and doesn't take any crap. This is an awesome story with Jamie, Pax and the Hellrider MC. So funny, frustrating, sexy, scary and a really good read. I would definitely rest this book of I were you (;. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Definitely a hardcore mc book! Pax is a hardcore leader of the Hellriders and Jamie is just an innocent nurse caught up in a "war" after she unknowingly saved one of the Hellriders. Chemistry between Pax and Jamie is definitely off the charts.

I give it 3.75 rating Book was good not one of my favorites but ok. Reading some of it was a exhausting and Pax was a jerk most of the time but Jamie put up with him and dished it right back. Not quite the mc books I have read in the past.

Good story. Easy to read and follow. I enjoyed the push and pull between the characters.
