The Mystery of History Volume 3 Student Reader The Renaissance, Reformation, and Growth of Nations (1455 1707)
The Mystery of History Volume III Student Reader continues the spectacular and provocative study of world history from the viewpoint of a Christian author. Spanning the Renaissance, Reformation, Exploration, and some early American history, this volume explores the backdrop to and the significance surrounding the time-honored contributions found in art, music, literature, science, and philosophy of this rich era. Unlike Volumes I and II, Volume III has been separated by the publishers into two beautiful books! The Student Reader now contains 84 stirring lessons written by Linda Lacour Hobar in a colorful, easy-to-hold hardback. The reader is a stand alone world history text for all ages to enjoy.
Read through this with my 5th grader. Engaging, Protestant perspective but very respectful and usually inclusive of the Catholic point of view. The end dragged a bit for me, but maybe I was just ready to be done with the school year. I wish there had been a bit more "Mystery".
This is our 3rd trip through Mystery of History. I have loved this history curriculum during our homeschool days. It has worked great with our variety of ages. It is easily adaptable for my struggling learners.
This is one of my favorite history books! I love how the stories are organized and the information is fresh, interesting, and fun. The icing on the cake is the wonderful companion cd of activities!
