In this tale of faith, love, and friendship, a nun crosses paths with a derelict man on a divine mission who teaches her more than she ever imagined about herself, God, the church, and forgiveness.

"Never underestimate a former abbot. " pg 189- revealed to me to keep connected and seek wisdom from those who are living and dead, who decided to defect in place within institutional structures, showing the need of renewal. Unusual and original

I've never read anything like this novel. Fascinating characters, deep ideas, very readable. Treat yourself to a surprisingly good book.
